KVUE is Austin's ABC affiliate station and has been delivering local news for Central Texans since 1971. Today it is owned by TEGNA, Inc., which reaches approximately one-third of all television households in America. www.kvue.com
I lived in Georgetown for 7 years. I loved the people in Texas; very nice and very polite. Unfortunately it has become very pricey in Georgetown. Also the humidity is very high and makes it uncomfortable for most of the year.
Somewhere between rich and homeless. That’s a great line. 😂 👌🏼
That's what I call an average Californian
I HATE THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE HERE it's too crowded and too much traffic. Everywhere you look is a mattress firm or a dental place or apartments
We are FULL
I know that girl, she threw an amazing event called pinestock in New Jersey, there was three pinestocks and let me tell you it was the best feeling ever being there, the amount of love and respect this girl has for people is truly a blessing, I use to tell her how she’s a hidden gem in jersey and there needs to be more people like her, I’m also super proud of how far she has come from when I first met her to now, she truly is a huge inspiration to me and I always wish her the best on her journey, if anyone is in the area definitely go check out her music she’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life, and for anyone leaving negative comments about her why don’t you take the time to actually get to know her instead of just assuming based off of her style or appearance, she’s very talented, very smart, and very inspirational
Grew up in Georgetown in the early 2000s. Was a very nice town back then, now it's a mess and overrun by cringe transplants.
Austin is much much worse. Crime is so bad there they call it, "Little LA."
Hate em.
@@joshbanker8743 Me too.
Yes they ruined it. I used to live at the edge but then we moved out but Florence and the edge followed
@@awesomepants184 where are you now?
Nice contribution to more unaffordable housing kvue. All the realtors will see this and price gouge as usual. Boomtown, more like homeless town
This is an issue in America. Not just Georgetown. Homeless ppl will be everywhere with these prices and how jobs are paying ppl. Remember; the paycheck is the bribe to keep you from living your dreams.
Wants peace and quiet. Plays guitar on sidewalk.
Something isn't adding up.
Exactly! She definitely stresses me out in the square.
@@acr12000 how do I stress you out? Would love to understand how music stresses you…
Peace and quiet.. I don’t have a mic. Music is soothing and heals. on a daily basis Ppl thank me for my service. I help many people out there and they help me too. you don’t understand where I was coming from but it’s okay.
@@acr12000 hey man, honest questions, what causes you to get stressed out by her music, she’s just playing some smooth jazz guitar, if anything that’s relaxing especially in a beautiful square like that with the clear sky’s, seems like a little heaven on earth, are you sure your not just stressing out from your everyday life cus it seems you have a lot built up so any little thing seems to bother you, why don’t you talk about it maybe meet up with her and chat
She is a spiritual dope smoker
We left Georgetown and moved to Tennessee because it became little Cali
Tennessee is next unfortunately. Nashville and Memphis are growing like crazy. I would expect them to be the next hot hip places after Austin.
@@AustinTexasDaddyBear yes they ready are. we are in a small town but soon there will be no place immune to the agenda
Yeah it's like California outside of California
Whoever chose to interview that girl should be fired. Georgetown will soon be overrun with homeless as well. Texas is done. Thanks Austin! 🙄
Hi I am that girl. It’s smooth jazz music. Many ppl thank me on a daily basis for my service. An older woman said I have inspired her to sing again. I have a masters degree in architecture and instead of being a robot I decided to do what I love. I hope you learn to not judge. And to help humans.
@@reneemichelson6268 I was just watching this my family lives there and I am moving there in October I was thinking in my head I hope I run into her she looks really nice and I love the music
@@jojo9820 thank you so much! Do you see how many ppl are quick to judge others? Sad world. I don’t do Any drugs LOL. I chipped my front tooth day before she interviewed me so I was trying to hide my teeth. Can’t wait to meet ya and give ya a warm welcome to g town. Amazing friendly people here. People love to be keyboard warriors for some odd reason. Thanks for being kind!
One more thing to add to this. please stop becoming de-humanized. I am not homeless. But why do ppl treat homeless ppl like insects? I go out once a week and volunteer to feed homeless people. Do you see how much a house costs v how much jobs are paying? This is not an Austin issue. This is not a Texas issues. This is an entire country issue. LA has x100 more homeless. This entire country is filled with ppl on streets and bc I am an architect and do side work too there are millions of huge homes in Texas that are completely empty. Think about that. Ppl on the streets. Yet rich ppl get to buy homes as investment properties. Do the math. There shouldn’t be huge houses with no one in them just so rich ppl can become more rich…. Please want the best for all. Rich privilege is a thing; no such thing as white privilege. Something I’ve learned throughout the years. I hope you gain a little more love.
My mom always said never judge a book by its cover and she was right people judge my cover all the time little do they know lol
Funny how Georgetown Kentucky is the fastest growing in Kentucky
The poppy featival is really cool and i like the xollege and westernmosphere but lets be real going on 35 to Austin Sucks. Also has the old people neifhborhoods. Thr whole metro area sold out to big tech.
It's too crowded to even go anymore
Renee is a master vv proud of you girl :))
Much appreciated; insane how many negative comments are on here and how quick ppl are to judge. All I try to do is add beauty to the charm of that place. Thanks for being a real one :)
Lousy reporting
Yikes another one that is fastest growing in Texas!!!
Californians and new yorkers are coming and will keep coming unfortunately.
Californians are leaving because of Governor Newsom and the C mandates..
Crazy right? People want freedom.
Hate em
Agh…..
Too bad it's in Texass! 😅
Despite the economic downturn,I'm so happy☺️. I have been earning $30,000 returns from my $8,000 investment every 12days
Stop lying!
Peace and quite…. Electric guitar plugged into amp 😂
Worst PD in the country
