Update I started and I am a lot better. I am more of a nose breather, but when I was younger I used to breathe out my mouth. My grandmother made me stop because it was bad manners. Even after I learned to breathe through my nose, I still have some cases where I breathe out my mouth. Sometimes when I sleep, my mouth opens and also when I am tired from working out I breath out my mouth. I only used a mouth tape for 5 days and I stopped drooling in my sleep already. Also, I don't wake up with morning allergies. As far as working out, I noticed that I don't get tired as quickly when I work out. One thing I can't seem to get right is my tongue placement. Only about half of my tonge touches the top of my mouth.
123plep I've been told that my whole life, but why do I have better breath control when I breathe through my nose?... Why can I now do sit-ups without straining my neck and back when I keep my tongue up the roof of my mouth and breath through my nose ?...

@@hexdrincc327 Lips are muscles and muscle change depending on how you use it, it can grow correctly or incorrectly. If you use your orbicularis oris muscle (complex circular muscle that surrounds the orifice of the mouth and forms the majority of the lips) especially the lower lip to keep your lips closed or to swallow, you build that muscle up. This will result in uneven growth, your lower lip will be more swelled up compared to your upper lip. If the bottom lip is doing all the work, the upper lip becomes absolutely nothing and you find people with top lip with no shape and definition and when you watch them functioning (speaking, resting, etc) the top lip doesn't do anything because the bottom lip takes the load of all of these functions.
