What better way to end the Cloning saga than to break Koopa The Quick. If you don't know what going on be sure to watch the cloning video. Enjoy! A+Start
You actually missed the best part. By abusing bowling ball clones in a specific way, you can make Koopa the Quick go up a slope near the edge of the map next the mountain where he can end up jumping in place and gain so much speed he warps into a Parallel Universe. He’ll never escape the PU, though, which means you cannot get the star since that requires Koopa the Quick to reach the finish to give it to you.
@@TheDerpyDolphin Yeah, in the old days, SMG4 used to focus on showcasing glitches. Now he makes up his own stories via Gmod and Mario 64 affected by cheatcodes.
This is a turtle that learned to walk on both hind legs instead of all fours. You'd think the loss in mobility would slow the turtle down further, but being on its hind legs causes the turtle to perpetually fall forward, thus it has a consistent acceleration of 9.807 m/s^2
You say the model breaks apart because there's no animation for going backwards, but the footage _does_ show him moving backwards normally for a bit. Maybe he breaks apart because the bowling ball is so early in his path that he ends up going backwards past the first waypoint? In which case the game likely treats a completely unrelated area of memory as the "zeroth" waypoint. I assume the memory location contains data that changes with every frame of gameplay, and that's why Koopa the Quick ends up jittering all over the place.
Yup, pretty much. SMG4 actually trigers that effect by using Mario 64 but load up a Zelda game into it, which causes models to freak-out if you try to use a save file from a game other than the one you're using.
According to this video, which details a lot of interesting ways to glitch Koopa the Quick, the timer just stops and nothing else really happens th-cam.com/video/HlLGbZ0CcrY/w-d-xo.html

Hello
Awesome Video
Andy quit killing Koopa the Quick! Lol
@@Knightblade64 He didn't kill him, he basically tortured Koopa the Quick, which Koopa the Quick is a misnom. He's not really all that fast.

haha! sending Koopa the Quick into a PU! XD I forgot you could do that in Mario 64!
I love how in SM64 you can say "so much speed he warps into a parallel universe" without it being a hyperbole.
Cartridge tilting without cartridge tilting
Koopa The Quick may be quick on his feet, but he is just as quick to fall apart.
Only Mario can harness the power of the Wa-hoo. A feeble turtle body cant comprehend it
Not since cartridge tilting in GoldenEye have I come across a model freak out glitch that had me laughing so hard
Kooopa: What have you done with meee?
Mario: Enjoy an eternity of never finishing a race.
Koopa the Quick is either having a mental breakdown or he’s break dancing
A mental breakdance
"A speedy turtle." -Andy
Didn't your mom tell you not to lie?
Gotta love those anti-dmca columns on the sides of the screen
can't beat mario in a foot race and can't even do his own equivalent of the backwards long jump, you're such a failure koopa.
No, he can BLJ. See Panenkoek's video about sending him to a PU.
Haha, great way to tie it back together!
What a weird glitch when Koopa moves backward and he just glitches like he does at the end there that's just strange dudes lol!!
Koopa the quick more like koopa the glitch
One time, I got him stuck... just stuck... I just don't know how.
Ouch. That's some painful looking glitch there.
Koopa the Quick behavior is really broken with that cloning glitch.
Simple, yet so beautiful :)
Thank you! 😊
I never thought I'd learn something new about this game. Excellent.
... new speedrun, break koopa %?
Koopa the quick be like: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Guess Koopa The Quick didn't know about parallel universes...
rip koopa the quick, he only wanted to go fast
basically koopa the quick turns into cartridge-tilted mario
“Speedy turtle”
No one
Not even a single soul
SMG4 charecters: 0:57
Ohhh, so THAT’S why he’s called Super Mario Glitchy 4
@@TheDerpyDolphin Yeah, in the old days, SMG4 used to focus on showcasing glitches. Now he makes up his own stories via Gmod and Mario 64 affected by cheatcodes.
When Koopa failed doing the BLJ
koopa the cartridge tilt
He fell down in the thumbnail.
It still doesn’t make sense to me how a turtle is able to move that fast even without this glitch

What if you stuck him between to equidistant cannonballs? Wonder what would happen

You monster! What a fate to suffer.

So, speed underflow glitchiness?
@@zigazav1 no, position underflow glitchiness
Koopa the Quick isn't quick to begin with
i thought mario odyssey was super broken..
GEDDAN!
I seen the glitched Koopa the Quick before on a video that i can't remenber the name...
Next video: Sending Koopa the Quick the a PU
Oh I hope he makes a video on that! It'd be so funny! haha!
@@zigazav1 In case you don't know, Pannenkoek has a video called exactly that.
Glitched Koopa the Quick looks ike something SMG4 would have put in his videos years ago.

Poor Koopa
I never knew the glitch exist
Ah, so you seem to have discovered pannen

33 MINUTES LATE SQUAD WHERE YOU AT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

What happen if you break him like that and let the timer reach it's maximum ? Overflow ? Stop ? crash ? I'm curious
