Your dress is lovely! I am also in the utilitarian camp…and I don’t care for frilly or poofy or “sticky-outy” either. And pockets improve almost ever. Thanks for the comments about the lining not being necessary. I am still following most of the garment instructions for things I make, even though I know they aren’t always sensible. I have to get a little better about that, without going too far the other way. So glad you’re happy with your dress. Shame about the one you made your daughter…but someone somewhere love it I bet. Sad to hear about Dixie’s diagnosis but glad you were able to determine it is. Best wishes as your two navigate what works for both of you. I recall my own struggle with our dog of 13 years when her hips gave out. Looking forward to the reveal of your next Blitz.
