Great Video! TY. I think it’s awesome and adds credibility that you’ve actually made them all with great pictures. I’ve never tried a non-big four pattern but you have me wanting to try the Lou box top to replace one of my favorite shirts that’s similar enough.
Ok, Joe, modeling like a pro! That Lou Box Top, I have 100 Acts of Sewing’s Shirt 1 which is the same and I have made it 5 times and hacked it. You can’t go wrong with a top like that!
McCalls 7757 is so good! I hacked the top and made it long enough to tuck in the pants. I wear it with a belt and it looks like a jumpsuit. I also have made the pants to wear a couple of times. Thank you for this video I want to try a couple more of the tops to expand my wardrobe. ❤❤
This is sooo amazing. One of my goals this year is to sew easy patterns and this compilation has a lot of my style written all over it, I have saved the video for later x thanks a bunch
This was a great video with a wonderful range of patterns and brands. Thanks! I've made the Ogden cami once, and I'm ready to make a bunch more of them. Karina from Lifting pins and needles has a tutorial on adjusting the straps. But I believe the pattern now has an option for wider straps. Minerva has a sew along by Alex for the M7948 dress.
Great video, those choices are truly beginner friendly. I’ll definitely try out some of the lounge sets and camis for wardrobe staples/ capsule … I’m looking for more unique Indie patterns this year so I’ll def check out those company suggestions. 👍🏾
On the Kara lounge set, did you size down on it? I just wanna know if it runs big or true to size or what? Would it work for a sweater knit? And also, can you tell me if it’s high waisted at all? I appreciate your help!
Hey - I cut true to size since I wanted it to fit much more relaxed. It's a boxy shape - so it might be big. Not sure about the waist...there's two waist options one with a drawstring and one with elastic.
The Saguaro Set has me in a chokehold. I’ve made it three times and I’m tempted to make it at least five more!
lol yes Adria! I’m trying to come up with another reason to make another
My friend was like Enough talking to them, talk me me🤣🤣🤣🤣. Thank you for this!!
🤣🤣🤣

lol girl he loves the camera! 🤣 But yes the Shirt 1 pattern is nearly identical! I’m tempted to bring mine out and do some hacking lol
Thank you so much. Great video. I have never purchased and Indie pattern but I am now. I put this video right in my favorites bar. Have a nice day.

Great tip! Love this idea of making the blouse longer so it gives the illusion of the jumpsuit!
Love your cat!! My cat Mollie does the same thing to me !!!
That's awesome! Thanks Pamela!
