I miss Maya Channnnnnnn. Anna’s striped bass is the best I’ve ever had. Might just give up my life to go work at Maya Chan..the beach…beautiful property…Anna’s cooking. ❤
Hi fellow cruise channel!! Looks like most of your cruises are in... Europe? How neat! We're headed to the Mediterranean September of '24. Looking forward to branching out from the Caribbean. Thanks for watching!
@AllThingsWagner we did do a Caribbean cruise in Covid but we felt a little short changed so will go back to experience it properly. We have recently started youtube so footage is mainly Europe. You'll love the Med 👍
@@AllThingsWagner I'm sure you will love the Med! We are looking at The Caribbean in 2024 but need to choose our dates in ordervyo avoid rain and stormy seasons.
Do they provide straws for drinks at Maya Chan? Mr Sancho's in Cozumel had frozen drinks, but you couldn't drink them till they melted! Brink reusable straws.
I would definitely reserve as far out as possible for Maya Chan because they limit entries each day. They do provide transportation to and from the resort! Jamie’s is a little more flexible with reservations per day. They do not provide transportation. You have to catch a taxi to and from.
No, not in the boardwalk area! If you just take a taxi to the area, you can access the beach for free. Not sure about having a chair, though. The businesses along there will likely require some form of payment. But if you want to throw down a towel on the sand, and enjoy the beach and water, go for it.
Thanks for watching. Often times “port” means the location, not just the gated cruise port itself. Like when we say “we ported in Cozumel.” This video happens to cover both inside the cruise port and excursion options for the location. There IS, however, an updated version coming soon since this gated port area has been updated!!
I can't stand to see those masks on the workers. Gross! This whole port seems to reek "tourist trap"! it's sad tho, because this is the only way the folks who live here can make a living.
How is it gross? They're protecting you and themselves from airborne and droplet diseases. They come in contact with tourists from all over the world, how is that gross if they're trying to help prevent spread of illnesses? Pretty uneducated and unnecessary reaction.
This was the best port guide port guide ever!
Thanks so much!!! That’s why we do this. ❤️🛳️

Maya Chan is only $69 includes transportation from the back exit according to the site
Nice Vlog, a Caribbean cruise is high on our wish list! This resort looks great!

I love ya'll vlogs, I really like popping in the live feeds, hope to meet you both on a cruise sometime! keep up the vids and great cruising info!!
Thanks so much!! Hope to meet you too!
Love Jaime's Blue Reef !!!!!
Nothing like JJ hanging out under a shade tree wearing a long sleeve shirt getting his tan on lol!
😂🤣 His dermatologist would be very proud of him!!
@@AllThingsWagner I understand that being follically challenged myself!

I don’t remember that ever being a problem. 🤔🤷♀️
Is there any butterfly 🦋 or nature trail excursions there ? We will like to take a cruise 🚢 one day.
Not very likely for a ship excursion, but check Viator. We’ve had good experiences through them. 👍🏼
@@AllThingsWagner what is Viator? Thank you very much for your quick reply.
It’s the travel arm of Trip Advisor. You can find and book 3rd party vendor excursions. 👍🏼
@@AllThingsWagner afraid of 3rd party excursions might get left behind.
There’s actually a better route out of the port to avoid the horrid shops… just turn immediatly left once you leave the pier
Do u have to reserve way ahead? And do they transport you personally to and from the port. Or do u have to get a personal taxi? Thanks
I would definitely reserve as far out as possible for Maya Chan because they limit entries each day. They do provide transportation to and from the resort! Jamie’s is a little more flexible with reservations per day. They do not provide transportation. You have to catch a taxi to and from.
do you have to pay to go on the beach and look at the flamingos

@AllThingsWagner ok cause I'm goin on a cruise in 2 weeks to Mexico
Nice info
Very helpful! Thanks for sharing.
do you have to go to Jamies blue reef right away or can you walk around the port for a bit first?
You can walk around port ALL you want. Take a taxi to Blue Reef whenever you’re ready. It’s your schedule. 👍🏼
Thank you!
You’re welcome! There has also been another pool area added to the port. Updated video coming soon.
How much were the massages?
I don’t know. I bet you can message them and find out. MUCH cheaper than on the ship, for sure! 😂
Ha Ha Ha. Your title is "Cruise Port Guide". In your viedo you exit the port in less than two minutes. The rest is not in the cruise port...Hmmm?

We agree. 🙁 We have a brand new version of this video towards the top of our video list. Hope it helps!!
