This is a bit of a fanboy piece. Her golf game was average for a pro, maybe below average, but what got her the attention was her looks. If she had not done social media with suggestive outfits, we would have zero idea who she is today. That's not casting shade, that's just truth. to her credit, she knew how the internet worked, and was far more successful as a golf 'model'. there are many others now following the same path, and more power to them. But this "golf took something away from me" story is a pile of crap.

I understand the LPGA had to do something during the MeToo movement to make a statement. Nothing wrong with a dress code that is modest. If Paige was serious about golf she would have just conformed like all the other players. Her game is good but in the end it's a lot easier to show your body off and make money than it is to win LPGA tournaments. Her only real issue is that she thought she could have both and that was entirely incorrect.

it sad when i watch this, too se a promissing star of the sport i have come too love so beeing ended because of old traditions of people that can`t evolve.
off course there should be a place for people like page in this sport, know matter how they choose to dress etc. and if the people who are in charge can`t see past that its on them, and not on any other person.
alltought this was back in 2012-2016 we as people should have come farther and it`s just sad too see in my eyes.
i just watched the good good tournament and Paige played so well there and that should prove here place in the golf industri.

YES, Paige did get her revenge. Look at what she has done since she was forced to leave LPGA. Paige is one of the strongest female players that LPGA never had. Paige has achieved so much in raising her profile in Golf. Paige has grown her empire, Paige would be able to hold her own in the LPGA but what she has done for female Golf, why should she go back. Her revenge is that she reached world number 1 and is getting all of the credit for her hard work across social media. Also as mentioned in the video as Paige was growing her profile, she out-shadowed Lydia Ko, when she came to fame. Paige took the limelight and rightly so in the face of all those who tried to dirty her name in the behind the scene of the LPGA. Paige is a true ambassador of the game, she created her own box rather than be placed into a box. Amazing grit and determination to rise above all she went through.
