I have been subscribed to this channel for many, many years. This is absolutely one of the most outstanding channels on TH-cam available today. Tami and Kevin have provided years of incredible content every single day. I look forward to their videos every day. To see the ignorant, disrespectful and preposterous comments some have made is incredibly shocking and disheartening. Tami and Kevin ABSOLUTELY do not deserve this in any way. This is not a place for negativity and baseless ludicrous accusations and assumptions especially due to someones vacation choice. God forbid they ever go to Las Vegas or New York. Blue, Red, Green or Rainbow..anyone can visit or go anywhere they please without some ignorant judge and jury individuals who will take it upon themselves to inject unneeded drama and accusations. This has completely taken away from what these videos were actually meant to be about and I hope these individuals will take their negativity far away from here. This is not the place for any of that. The Villages looks like a FANTASTIC place to visit or live REGARDLESS of any politics. I am just appalled by what I have seen towards Tami and Kevin regarding this vacation and had to say something. Its ridiculous and mind blowing how judgemental and ugly people can get but in the end by showing their true colors they will be the ones showing who they really are. Tami and Kevin deserve all the recognition and praise they have. Thank you for everything you have done and will continue to do for the TH-cam community. You are are incredibly appreciated and look forward to many years to come.

couldn't agree more. I've been watching them for well over 5 years now and to this day I still look forward to their uploads everyday! it baffled me that people got so upset and just randomly generalized their entire beliefs off a vacation video.

Hey tami and Kevin. I found you when buccees first opened in Richmond and I was curious about the food. And I've been here since then. I live in Corbin, Ky so you are also local to me. I was going to guess/comment but I know people have very strong opinions about the location and I didn’t want people to start saying negative things. I hope you had an amazing and relaxing trip
I had no idea about people’s opinions until reading through my comments. You know what though- the people leaving those comments are the haters. I never met one unkind person while we were there. Some people are just miserable and like to try to pass their misery on to others.

I had never even heard of this place but I am absolutely captivated by what you have shown so far. To the point where I have already looked up where it's at and what amenities they have. I think I will most certainly book a visit there if its affordable as i have never been to Florida but i absolutely love the vibe your video is giving! You guys took a chance in that golf cart in an unfamiliar place. As of now, I haven't finished watching it til the end, but I wouldn't be surprised if you guys wound up in a place called "Lexington, Kentucky!"
Keep in that, other that other than rare exception, you can generally only do one lifestyle visit per lifetime so make sure you are ready and actually considering The Villages before you schedule one.
Thank you for this information. I know people have done more than one in the past, but it seems like they are really enforcing that rule now which is understandable.

the home looked absolutely beautiful! I live in Chicago and we don't have publix out here but I've always heard many good things about it especially their hot food bar.
My mom was an awful driver and I could 100% see her crashing in that go cart multiple times 😂

Wow... The Villages is a really big community. It looks nice. Even here in CA, there is talk about FL being the retirement state. The Cody's prices looked very reasonable. Neat to see people just letting go, dancing, and living their best life.

Actually, when i said I'd probably not get to go, i meant the cross country flights. But FL may be doable. I've never heard of the villages but it looks wonderful. My boyfriend doesn't like crowds.. it causes him a lot of anxiety so this looks perfect for him. For example, we went to myrtle beach last year and he would have been happy to stay in our room, as long as he had the view of the ocean from our balcony. And if we could get around on golf carts.. he would love it
We take two short flights to get to Florida. They are about an hour and 15 minutes each - so not too long.
Primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom..🏠

That a beautiful home!! That’s awesome that anyone can come there and stay. The amenities are awesome! We like to stay at Airbnb’s on vacation because of the amenities they offer, minus a golf cart.

I'm going to stop commenting i promise 😂 but one thing my man does like to do on vacation, is eat at restaurants we don't have in our area. And i have to have a walker or help when I'm walking so the golf cart would be perfect. Can't wait to finish the videos

Village Airport Van would've been cheaper.
The Villages airport van rates are higher. They start at $45 per person. It would have cost us $90. We only paid $80 through Groome and it was all booked through The Villages.
I know nothing about the villages. Will be interesting to see. It’s looks huge! Also we were sure you drove down when we watched the grocery haul right before. I wanna know what you did with all the leftovers of review foods! That’s a lot of ice cream to try for 1 week haha. Yum!
We tried two flavors each day until we had reviewed them all. Each night, we would come in and gorge on our favorite from that day. Needless to say, I came home heavier than when I left 😄

I have a life style tour plan in the not so distant future in the Villages but I’m not understanding the individual who left that comment about this beautiful couple having something against black people and the gay community Im trying to figure out what was said to give them that idea. Are black people and gays not wanted in the villages
That person clearly has never been to The Villages and has no clue what they are talking about. We saw ALL races while we were there. In my videos of the dancing at night, there were people of all colors. And were people gay? Who knows? I don't ask people what they prefer in the bedroom. I don't think anyone cares. Some people are miserable people and they like to spread their misery to others. The Villages is open to everyone.

The only reason The Villages is even known to many in the country is because back in 2020, Trump retweeted a video of a guy there in a golf cart rally shouting "White Power." It made lots of news. Obviously that one moron doesn't represent their whole community, and anyone following this channel should know that you and Kevin are good people who would never endorse anything that awful. I'm just saying that's what put the place on the map for those who had never heard of The Villages before. Sadly, the internet is a place where people like to judge everything by their worst aspects. As someone from California, I see that a lot! Tons of snide, nasty comments, obviously based on media that focuses on the worst things going on here (which do exist, but they're blown out of proportion). I guess that's what gets clicks! In my life, I almost never encounter any of that stuff. People are nice in my area, it's clean, there's little crime, no one's shoving politics down my throat, no homelessness, etc...but the simple minded folks on the internet like to make caricatures out of everything.

You have this somewhat incorrect. There was a Trump "Golf Cart Rally" with a parade of decorated carts. There was an anti-Trump group along the way. One woman was totally going crazy, on and on, screaming every obscenity there is... along with the usual Hitler references, KKK, and the like. She was screaming in some cart driver's face all the "racist! KKK! stuff" and he sarcastically answered "Yeah, sure, White power, yeah yeah..." and that was it. The next night there was a 4 second news clip of the guy. The media played it up as "proof" of... something. NO video of crazy woman. It belongs in the same trash pile as "he said xxx and xxx are good people!' You can probably find the FULL unedited clip on TH-cam.
Today is a sad day. After many years of watching your channel I will be unsubscribing. We live in turbulent times and a person can't live anymore without politics being in your face everywhere they turn. You had mentioned the Villages before and even made recipes from their cookbook. I ignored what that might mean. Today, I can no longer ignore your choice (which you are most definitely entitled to) in supporting a state and the Village community that I believe clearly does not support people of color, women's right, anti-bias education or gender equality. We saw some amazing golf carts. Some people spend a lot of money on custom golf carts.
