Curious, why wasnt a corolla xle used for comparison? Has the smaller wheels and fwd comoared to the se's larger wheel set and AWD. Wouldve made the difference up in MPG and provided a more comparable drive experience. I would always add the huge difference in the warranties

Hyundai uses traditional DCT trans so it will definitely do better on hwys compares to Toyo/Honda using eCVT. both a solid choice over the regular ICE vehicles. like to see UX300h against Niro which is about $10k cheaper but interior and safety features are about the same.
I've had 2 Kias and both have AA wired only, the solution is to add a tiny box for ~$60 that adds that functionality. But I don't use it anymore :D I find it easier to use a magnet USB connection - i have 1 cable in the car, one in home and it allows for fast charging (wireless charging can be slow), and provides an instant connection. Its much easier on the battery of the phone. The wireless charging seems to be interfering with wireless AA.
Corollas are in high demand and buyers ain't gonna get deep discounts.. I got a 2024 Elantra blue in serenity white plus normal add-ons like cargo net, floor mats, etc.. for $26,700.00 out the door two months ago from a dealer.. 😊😊
An elantra limited has ventilated and heated seats. The bluelink connection that lets you turn and set the climate remotely ..etc and lot of other features so its not just about size.
There are so many reliable cheap adapters to get for Hyundai and Kia to give you wireless Apple CarPlay and android auto. Kia and Hyundai and Genesis finally rolled out wireless Apple CarPlay, and android auto. Hopefully it is going to be available on the Elantra via over the air.

As a mechanical person, I looked at the Hyundai hybrid system as compared to the simplicity of the Toyota hybrid drive . Hyundai far too complicated , and has many more components to "not work" properly . I'll stick with the Toyota system thanks !
Well Hyundai hybrid system hasn't had any issues so far and it's been out for a while now. Plenty of people get well over 100k miles regularly. But I agree although I wouldn't buy the Corolla Hybrid considering it takes 9+ seconds to do 0-60 and it's interior is pretty lackluster and feels extremely cheap/old
nay...i guess you haven't update or be ignorant on toyota news. Toyota fuck up their engines so bad too in recent two years. They have plenty recalls on toyota engines problems. Stop being prejudice and watch news.
The Elantra I think looks better on the outside, the interior is significantly better, and it’s larger. The infotainment and driver assistance is far superior in the Elantra. The highway driver assist on the Hyundai and is so damn good thankfully, as well as just the active lane keep assist. I generally lease cars, but I would probably buy the ELANTRA if I had to buy either of them because it comes with such a long warranty

For 30 grand, why not just get the 2025 Camry LE? I’d gladly trade 10 percent fuel economy for larger interior and smoother ride

Hyundai s are not known for ride quality. My every day company car Sonata is soo horrible over bumps or uneven pavement.

Toyota has had about two decades to sort out Synergy Drive with plenty of recalls for the early adopters. So it should be perfect but it is not.
Also, Toyotas aren’t setting themselves on fire. 😬. Hyundai has a long way to go in terms of core quality.
