    Rather than using black wash, have you tried using the shadow colors of the uniforms instead, mixed with glaze medium and water? Could provide softer shadows in my experience.

      That's definitely an option, I must admit that I like the black wash at this scale as I find the softer shadows can be hard to see at times but I'm yet to really give if a proper go so perhaps I should try that next 🤔

      @@paintingpanzers good to know. I use that as well when I don’t want to Zenithal prime. Followed the link you added con the description but could not locate the kit you featured even as a preorder or “coming soon”. I really want to get that set. Magnificent painting btw. Cheers!

    What color is the model primed? (white?)
