I ran out of time to dive into the ins and outs of the class structure for Global Time Attack, but we caught the NSX partway through its transition from Street Class (full interior, non-sequential trans, limited aero) to the Unlimited Class. The NSX is currently the fastest Street Class car in the country, but next time we see it, it'll have transformed to track-only monster. And now you don't have to say "that's not a street car." 😁

Like i said.. ive seen a car juat today do 60-130 in 5 seconds. Snobbery around entering time attack series doesnt mean its the fastest car. Sorry. Should really read... fastest street car round the track that day.... not in whole of north america...
I think you're failing to understand we're talking about fastest around a track, not fastest in a straight line. I thought that'd be contextually obvious, but I guess not. Some people struggle to differentiate. The point is, until another car comes to compete, meets street regulations, and goes faster, this one is the fastest. It's holds street class records at every track it has competed at, including COTA. It might not win down a drag strip, but it wasn't meant to, just like a drag car wouldn't win around a circuit, because its not meant to.
This episode was a good change of pace, I personally would enjoy seeing these sprinkled in here and there. Would be cool to get more features on some of the competitive time attack cars, and/or the shops they come from in the SoCal area.
The RS Future NSX is an exceptional build and it is inspiring to see what is possible when intelligence, hard work, dedication, and passion are applied to a project.
I met Amir in Wüste Vegas 2016. We ended up having a few drinks and partied before going our own ways. The very next day his 911 won the show that year. All out genuine and humble guy. His builds definitely changed the way I’ve wanted to build my cars.

Amir is awesome, was an instructor at my first track day at chuckwalla. Approachable and encouraging for us newer guys that day. Great ambassador for the sport! Car was still black and I think his gf was driving a red s2k.

This nsx, is crazy love everything about it. Can't imagine having a car like this to build and be able to put it to its intended use. Alot of of beautifully built fast cars out there for show but none like this nsx, thriving to break records while looking pretty.
I like this style of video. I enjoy learning about builds and seeing interviews with the builders/owners to understand why/how they did things. Even if a build is documented somewhere online it's nice to have a fresh take from someone excited about the build showing it and asking questions. Your build videos on the 308 and your other projects are great but in my opinion don't be afraid to continue to do these kind of reviews mixed in. Your visual style capturing the build is good to look at and you had a good pace talking about the car and to the owner. I appreciated hearing your thoughts on what you wanted to take away from the build. As a builder seeing/hearing the impact your build has on someone and their plans or what they are going to try to do to their own vehicle is one of the most rewarding parts.

I first saw this car on hoonigan's build biology, but they didn't go into NEARLY as much depth as you did. Please please please please please do more of these, because you did such a great job going over all the intricacies and details that made this car worth it.
Just beautiful. I use to think the B series was the most popular Acura Honda. The K motor shatters it. I’ve seen the K pop up in everything. Even a Mr2. That K is a warrior 💯👍🏾🤜🏾🤛🏾😁

Don't forget about The Boosted Boiz NSX! It's just as nice and is the world's fastest and quickest in the quarter mile! It's runs mid to high 8 second passes at over 170mph! It could be faster, but Kyle wants to keep it a street car. Also, it does wheelies!!

Cars like these influence what you build and it is seen intertwined throughout your projects. While I have never been a European car guy, I do find interesting tidbits hidden in every video I watch. Enjoyed this episode. Adding some of these adds some variety to the channel and puts your considerable knowledge base to good use. I also learned some more about the NSX. Being all aluminum, it gives me confidence that buying an old one is a better investment than an old Ferrari. Here in Canada, the 308s will be all rust.

I can appreciate a car like this and the one you are building. Along those lines what about the car you are building? I and many thousands of others are drooling to see the 308 completed? More 308 and less filler. We will watch no matter what content you put out cause you are great at what you're doing. By the way... What about the project under the car cover? NSX is still one of my favorites! As an Acura Tech in the 90's, I was fortunate to drive quite a few of them too.
