Netgear PoE Switch on Amazon
In this video, I explain how to find the IP camera address in the network using a packet analyzer (Wireshark).
There are real examples on how to find a Hikvision and a Samsung (Wisenet) camera, however this process work with any brand (even for non-branded models).
Connect the cameras and the computer to the same switch (or internal ports of a router) and run wireshark to capture the packets in the local network, then you can look for your camera.

Thank you so much. I didn’t know about wireshark. I wish I was younger and could go back and learn about all the cool IT stuff. Not even to make money, just because it’s fun and cool.
Thanks again, because of you I was able to get my camera’s IP, and it sent me down a rabbit hole of other information.
thank you
Thanks Very Much Sir, I am looking for the way to find ip of office camera, Thanks a lot sir, Thanks For your time sir

Im trying to find a wifi remote spy camera from my phone.....any advice as to what's the best way to do this.
Any videos on how to easily identify 2 cameras with the same IP? Trying to find an easy way to find cameras that are doubled up.
Cameras with the same IP will have a conflict in the network. If they come with a static IP, you need to have them connected to a network with a DHCP server (it can be your router) to give them different IPs or you can connect one camera at a time to the network and then change the IP.
@@SmartDevicesChannel my job has us use static ip for some reason and we had an ip conflict the other day and I was trying to figure out if there was a faster way to find the double ip
Having the MAC address helps too
Can I use it with just a router ?
will wireshark work with wifi cameras too ?
Yes
Kind of useless
