    Thank you for the video. I had a slightly different problem. I was adding a camera to an NVR and the NVR could not seem to see the camera. I just needed to reconfigure it via a PC first so that the NVR could see it. Was not all that different than for your streaming camera. This was helpful in that regard. I think that people underestimate the value of companies putting up content like this for their products. I would definitely consider your products for streaming because of this effort on your part.

    Excellent video!! The best one online. How can I find my network ip address?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi John, thank you!
      If you are looking for your IP Address on your computer, the easiest method is to open up Command Prompt and type in "IPCONFIG". This command will populate all your network information for your computer including IP Address.

    I have an interesting question. I set up static IP addressed on two NDi cameras + IP controller but not on my PC because I was not able to go online with an static IP on my PC. How can I set up an static IP on my PC and still be able to go online?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jon, I recommend using an Advanced IP scanner to view all the IP devices on the Network. You can download it for free, great tool.
      You can choose a Host ID that is not currently in use. If your network is for example 192.168.10.1, you will want to use the same scheme, but change the last number field to a number not being used by another device. For example, 192.168.10.120. The Host ID is 120, as long as no other device has this same number it will work.
      Example
      192.168.10.120
      255.255.255.0
      192.168.10.1.
      DNS
      8.8.8.8
      8.8.4.4
      Hopefully, this helps, thanks for stopping by!

    Does the network switch just connect to the modem or router?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, the Network Switch requires a connection to a Router for streaming to TH-cam or Facebook, preferably a 3rd party router like NetGear. You may use the Service Providers Router as well, but it is not as reliable as the one you would purchase from an Electronics Store.

    Hi nice video. Will be purchasing A ptz CAMERA SOON. A couple of questions.. So you set up it own IP address 1st then you connect it up to a router or wirecast to go POE? Meaning not using power on PTZ. Another question. I'm setting this camera about 75 ft from the computer, my plan is to go SDI to a video capture card go in SDI out usb into the computer. Or can it get video from the ethernet cable? Or should I just call you guys? Thanks for your help...

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mike, yes, you will need to change the IP address of the camera to match your Networks IP. You can use Command Prompt to achieve this information by typing in "IPCONFIG". This will display all the required network info for your device. This can be accomplished with a direct connection to a laptop via ethernet port or you can use the Wi-Fi adapter settings shown in this video. Note, this video shows a different model known as the BG-VPTZ-10HSU3, so the IP and Web interface are different. But the concept is the same for the computer information.

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, BZBGEAR's BG-LVPTZ camera shown in this video comes with a default IP address 192.168.5.163. This video explains how to change that IP address to match your Local Area Network so it can communicate with other devices on the Network.

    Does this network configuration have to be done to most IP cameras?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, yes. IP cameras have a WebGUI that contains the settings for Streaming, Video and Audio adjustments and PTZ control.
      You do not have to Network cameras if you are only using the Video output such as HDMI to a Capture device, but it is highly recommend for the best quality image since lighting can be so challenging. As well, if you would like any control of the cameras movements over the LAN, you will need to Network the camera.

      No. this is the hard way. Normally it is easier to install the config or search tool of the specific camera, then set it. without need to change to static ip.

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HI, thanks! You can do the same procedure, but instead of reconfiguring the LAN Adapter Card, choose the WIFI adapter and do the same process. You will only be able to see the camera once configured. Once you change the cameras IP address to match your LAN, then revert your computer WiFi back to DHCP.
      You can refer to this video for that process. th-cam.com/video/WAsT9aWev8w/w-d-xo.html
      Thanks for watching, hope this helps!

      Hello, which model do you have? Depending on when you bought the camera, it sounds like it may be related to a firmware update required for the HTML5 web browser update. Email or call our tech support if you are still having issues, they will require the model and serial number so have that information ready. You can find updates under our support page.
