The Italian tile in your bathroom is so unique & pretty! Plus, your bathroom is staying nice & tidy since your recent declutter in there! Huge success!
Beautiful! It takes so long to clean the bathroom. My husband cleans the shower daily after he uses it. Not to the extent you cleaned yours, but certainty good enough for me! We recently brought in an elderly relative to live with us, so we installed stainless grab bars and hand-held showers with a large overhead fixture. We weren't sure which bathroom would work better for her, so we fitted both showers. I have to say that the stainless bars installed horizontally look better than I expected. I think it's great that you were able to fit in an en suite in your remodel. The tiles were certainly worth the expense and difficulty with installation. I will certainly be along with your decluttering videos. Maybe they'll help me get my house back in order after an emergency merging of a household. Take care, Linda 🦋
Oh bless you that sounds really tough. I know it was tricky for my mum having to make lots of sudden adaptations to the house when my stepdad suffered a series of strokes having been super fit beforehand. It must be doubly hard for you also merging households. You're doing great 😊
Nothing wrong with still using things that have been around if they are still working for you! Im still using coats I got in high school and I'm 41. I would love to replace the one, but I havent found anything as warm. It isn't terribly nice in terms of patterns or looks, but it is so warm. I occasionally see others wearing the same coat, and it always throws them off when I ask about it. 😂 we are all in the same place though, and my kids have argued over both coats. So the one is falling apart, but I might try pulling the layers apart and lining other coats for them someday.
Yes absolutely. We don't generally replace stuff unless it's broken or doesn't fit and I'm a big fan of getting clothes secondhand. I get most of mine and the boys clothes from Vinted. My youngest has mostly hand-me-downs from friends kids. My boys fancy dress clothes for Xmas were all secondhand. I get a real kick from getting a bargain and I love that it's better for the environment ☺️
Very well done!🎉 Hopefully your household is feeling better soon!🤞I have always been a wear once and wash policy. 🙈You can definitely get on top of your cleaning schedule by making a list and programming alarms on your phone. You have already made so much progress! In the United States the drains are definitely different. Your bathrooms seem so much easier to deep clean. I'm super jealous of the 'wet bathrooms' the ones that have a drain in the floor and you can rinse EVERYTHING down with the showerhead.
I love the idea of a wet room. My son's home was remodeled with a huge shower that is open. It's beautiful; however, our daughter-in-law says it's freezing. My son uses the guest bath, which is a claw-foot tub with a large shower head and a hand-held shower.
@kimberlywatts3402 Can you peek under the carpet to see if the flooring is something you could use? When we rented a house, we asked if they'd pay for vinyl tiles and we'd install them. They agreed and sold the house when our lease was up. My husband had worked so hard in the yard. It was a corner lot, and he planted several bushes and made a stone patio, reusing what was scattered on the property. It was beautiful after he'd spent a year getting it into shape. We moved to a better house for our family, so it all worked out. 🏡
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. It's a lovely time when Santa still delivers the presents! Could I be cheeky and ask the dimensions of your ensuite, please?
Love your videos. Just wanted to mention be careful cleaning with your engagement/wedding rings. The chemicals slowly weakens the metals on your ring and your gem stone can loosen or worse fall off never to be found again 😢
It's very satisfying isn't it when it gleams! Yes please to the declitter list
I've just put the list on my community page and also up on my new instagram which is @natty_robb hope you follow along!

Yes it definitely feels brighter and clearer in there. Still lots more to do downstairs but I'm getting there!

Ah yes I'd love a wet room, we didn't have the space for it!

@@3TXSisters I'm in a rental and they have carpet 🤢in the bathroom. The bathroom is very small so I keep it as clean and organized as possible.

@3TXSisters Unfortunately that's not an option for me. I definitely would if I could! There's so many affordable options available!

Hi! I wanted to actually measure it and kept forgetting so sorry for the delay!! It's 5.5 foot by 4.5 foot 👍

Ah thank you. I'd be gutted if that happened!
