You did a great job sorting through your clothes!! Loved the “fashion show” - everything looked great on you!
Clothes was the hardest category of all for me to declutter but now everything fits in the boundary of my Small closet. It took about 3 passes through it all to get to that point. I rewarded myself with a Closetmade organizer that had shelves and pretty “boho” type of cotton bins for the folded items. (I do love pretty organizers lol).
You are doing great and your capsule wardrobe is wonderful!

A reward of some pretty organisers sounds a great plan!

Lovely spending time with you as usual. Great job sorting through your clothes as it makes your life so much easier to have it organized for a minute. Running a house is difficult and tricky. You are balancing so many things that taking care of “you” is important as well. Happy New Year.

Thank you so much and happy new year to you too. I am already finding navigating the new wardrobe way easier!

You made wonderful choices to keep. I've not heard of the 33 rule, but I'd never consider it unless I needed the space. I think something for everyone to consider is their space as the decision maker. One thing I've learned is to never get rid of expensive blazers or jackets. They can always be altered, and clothing doesn't seem as well made as in the past. Allow yourself time for your body to adjust. You may never be the same size again, but you won't know for a while. Time is on your side in this matter. Good luck with the rest of your decluttering! Take care, Linda 🦋

You did a wonderful job! Changing shape, size and season all at the same time must have been so challenging! Very emotional as well. I went through similar difficulties when I became disabled. 😢No zippers, ties or buttons for the most part. In addition to being less active so weight and size change. So many beautiful and well loved items weren't functioning for me. 💔I'm not going to lie...I miss some still. But currently EVERYTHING FITS PROPERLY AND IS COMFORTABLE AND EASY. 🎉

It's so hard isn't it but yes so important to have a wardrobe that functions! I'm going to give myself the year and keep reassessing but then I must let go of anything that doesn't fit or suit then!

Loved working towards project 333. Eventually got away from it and have about 40 items in my total year round wardrobe. Took a couple years to get there though.

I like what youtuber clutterbug says, your clothes should not bully you and make you feel bad about yourself!

I think you but a great job but I also think you need to be gentle with yourself and give yourself some grace. You aren’t the pre children person anymore, you birthed three beautiful babies and you are beautiful just where you are right now. The money has already been spent so try not to focus on the price. Try not to beat yourself up that you don’t fit into these potentially uncomfortable or not you now clothes. Reflect and see where you are right now and don’t put more pressure on yourself, already have a busy life. You have done so well. I loveeee that green cardigan and green dress, beautiful. I just went through my wardrobe. I had 104 cardigans and jumpers😮 I’m in Canada so winter and summer and everything in between but still allot!!

I've massively downsized my wardrobe recently and now have around 40 items for autumn and winter. You did a great job. I can't seem to find your 2nd 30 day video. Only days 1 and this one.

Thank you. I'd love to properly downsize all of my clothes. Hopefully I'll get there by the end of the year! Day 2 is a short video - if you look at the shorts tab on my channel page you'll find it there 😊

    May I suggest something?
Kind of a couple directions. First, it's been 18 years since my last baby, and more than 100 pounds. Find an activity you can do with the kids. I have started walking last year, and it would have helped my mental health back there a ton, as well as kept my weight in better check even if it still went up (I had a lot of health issues crop up after my youngest was born).
On the closet.... give yourself a few extras and stash the "extra" Hangers. I found having empty Hangers around tended to draw stuff in to fill them. And then when you look at your clothes again in the spring, go in with more of a plan on what types of stuff you want to part with. Give yourself grace if it's really special, but it gives you a category to shrink and takes the pressure off other stuff. Like you mentioned saving tops that were pre-kids and you won't really fit in again because of body changes. You might make the category to declutter all of the pre-kid clothes that won't ever fit the automatic category. It is a decision you don't have to use energy to decide, and takes the pressure off the clothes that just don't fit but will eventually. But you might have more energy to make those choices because this other category is already made. My sequence of categories as I worked on Project 333 was stuff like clothes that don't fit (I didn't realize I had pre-pregnancy clothes packed away til my youngest could wear them), and I fluctuate, so I kept 3 size ranges as that is what I wear in a month. Then I tried reducing by color, so each season I picked a base color and 3 accents. But I loved it so much I got rid of the accessories and stuff that were in the base colors I didnt choos. So I chose black, and ditched navy, chocolate, grey, beige, white, etc. I've since added navy, and then switched to it, but it is easy when the wardrobe is small. Hopefully some of these ideas make sense. I'm sick and my brain I'm pretty sure just got put in a tissue. 😂
