You dont have to apologize to anyone. I live alone and during the lockdowns I somehow brought more stuff into my apartment. My apartment is inly 400sq ft, and I although I cleaned it, I must have not cleaned well, because the roaches started living in all the boxes. I never kept food out, but those damn things got into my kitchen, refrigerator, oven and drawers. After the lockdowns, I slowly decluttered and in 2024, I moved most of my boxes to a storage unit. Then I left for three months. I didnt clean anything, I packed up and left. When I got home three months later, the roaches were all dead. I hired a cleaner and I moved more boxes out. Now I am selling the apartment. I will never be a hoarder again. It is too stressful and expensive.

@@AmberJines You got this! I know it can seem overwhelming, start with finding all the dirty dishes, then the trash, then put any toys you find into a basket or something. @@MKMG-b7b I try to do that as much as possible, but it’s hard when you’ve got a toddler walking behind you making twice the mess you clean up 😂 I also struggle with doom piles, but some rooms are easier then others
@metrayhem Many of us have children too. After the playing is done, just put the toys away. Lol. What's a doom pile? It's probably there because you put it there. Honestly, it's less stressful and time consuming if you try it. I suffer with depression and watching some videos like yours prompts me to message to say life can be easier for you. It really can.
@metrayhem ALL adults in your home should take responsibility for their mess too and share chores . They should also help you because they love you and you're struggling.
@@MKMG-b7b everyone that lives here has ADHD (not an excuse obviously but it is a cause for our struggle with cleaning) A doom pile is something a lot of ADHD people struggle with, it’s a pile that starts with one thing and then accumulates. It happens. Some things work for us, some things don’t. I appreciate you leaving a suggestion though.
@metrayhem I see. Even more reason to really change your ways. Otherwise you end up with chaos, which I'm impressed to see you managed to do for this video. So little and often could be achieved. Well done.
@@Camelia_Ihrin Well, she’s only 2. I don’t really understand her logic, but if she can’t use her toys the way she’s supposed, she can’t have them 🤷♀️ If she continues to do it after she gets her kitchen back, we’re gonna have a serious toddler friendly talk and loss of toy for longer. She’s really gentle with him otherwise though.

She also locked him in her mini fridge until he pooped all over it (and it was plugged in so I just threw it away). that is a disgusting way to live, how can people live like this in daily filth and unorganization? It is so cool to walk in to a clean organized home everyday.
