Personally, I prefer using an online grocery app with free curbside pickup. It saves me a lot of time & on delivery fees. Plus, I can control the grocery budget & minimize impulse purchases. You did a great job on cleaning out the shed! It was a big project! I’m constantly amazed at how much you accomplish in addition to working & caring for a family!! 💗

I think you could use those Ikea large drawers. I think they are called MALM. These would have enough space for telescopes and clothes. The printer could go on top.

Have you considered figuring out a standard grocery order? It might seem a little weird, but I use a delivery service regularly, and it is pretty simple to go through buy it again and just add what we are low on. I have a few standard proteins we use and a few standard veggies we snack on and such, and even without a meal plan its sort of like, what are we out of and then we can figure out the meal plan a bit later even if its literally just here is the list of chicken dishes or beef dishes and pick one to throw together and if we happen to be missing something we can substitute another something to make it work.

You are so brave!🕷My daughter has arachnophobia but has gotten a bit better since adulthood. So I definitely understand. I'm not an outdoorsy person but I did all of the things when my children were young. Now that I am grandma and great grandma I don't have to. My daughter asked me why I don't do those things with her children and I told her that I don't have to anymore and she is more than welcome to. 😂😂😂 She doesn't like it either.

A few years ago, my shed needed sorting out. My friend came to help me. It was the funniest thing ever! It took all day. He's frightened of spiders and I'm frightened of mice. Last year, I had it taken down. Now I keep decorating stuff inside and I have someone else look after the garden. I gave most of the tools to my sons. Now I'm older they do most of my jobs now anyway. if I need a sander, I just borrow it back! 😂

Nat, you did such a great job. Your proud of your dad, I'm so proud of you for helping your dad. It seems to me parents get forgotten about. Very kind of you to help both your parents.

I moved to my partner's place mid last year and while I decluttered before the move I just did another pass and it was satisfying. Some things just need time in our lives and once that time is over decluttering them feels way easier. And there is not much logic in it - at least for me.

Good job. Sticking with it this long is a great start. As the time goes by you will start looking at what you keep with a better eye. Good job.

I take pictures of sentimental items as well. My son who's now 33 wanted very little of what I had saved for him but some things I kept are now being used by my grandson (especially books and certain toys and some baby stuff like my sons christening shawl). 2 or 3 passes are always needed. I've been decluttering for over 2 years and still this January I have got rid of 332 items so far. You do get more ruthless as you go.

Here in the USA, we have dollar stores where you can get durable (desk drawer) dividers & containers that would work well to create categories in your nice wood crate.

Its a good idea to put things together dont duplicate cause you think it handy there ,crayons with their drawing books pens at your desks keep one in kitchen drawer for quickness ,babies hair ties with her hairbrush etc etc find the drawer will be half empty,oh vitamins in a kitchen cupboard out of kids way,just cause they are vitamins doesnt make them safe 😕👍Lizzie 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

You are making great progress & What a special tradition with the cookbook that you are passing down to your children! One of my fondest childhood memories is of the Easter Bunny Cake (Good Housekeeping - with the dyed coconut) that my Mom baked for my birthdays (in April so it falls on or near Easter). We had the magazine article for many, many years tucked in one of our cookbooks. Such happy memories! 🐰💛

I don't know if it's failing eyesight or just another overwhelming job to do that cobwebs and dust bunnies pile up. I wondered if there were a shower.
