I’m truly thankful that I’m not the only one who believes TS3 is the perfect third movie in a trilogy. Not only is it a perfect ending to a trilogy, but an almost perfect movie in general. I think you really should make a video analysis series about why TS3 is a perfect movie, it’d be beneficial to giving an in depth reasoning for why the movie was always meant to be the ending of a trilogy, the satisfying pay offs it gives to it’s characters, why it’s so emotional beautiful, a love letter to all us Pixar fans, and teaches the most important, powerful life lessons that everyone must always keep with them to benefit their lives. Plus, you have it kind of like the yin Yang of your review series, where you praise something for countering against the video series where you hated another thing that destroys the thing you’re praising. In other words; you make a TS3 series praising that movie, and on the other side of the coin, your TS4 series hating how that movie ruined the original trilogy. I think you should do it in the future.
Also, I really appreciate how you explain what worked so well about Instant Family. The way it was able to nail it’s comedy and serious moments at the same time is rarely something movies do nowadays. Parental Guidance did that as well, and I’m surprised you didn’t put that movie on this list as well, because you used more clips from that movie in your TS4 series than Instant Family. Also, what’s that other movie you used clips from where they show people in what looks to be an office space? And it’s the same one where they show a guy who’s balding and is very expensive? He’s holding a script or something in one scene he’s in. And you also used clips of that movie in your TS4 series. Lemme know the name of that movie I’m talking about.
Also, I recommend Step Brothers to you with Will Ferrell and John C. Riley. If you liked the previously mentioned movies about family dynamics then you’ll like this one to. It nails it’s crude comedy and laugh out loud moments and still takes extra care in other aspects of it’s script. And it predates Parental Guidance which predates Instant Family. So Step Brothers was ahead of the curve in that regard. I highly recommend checking that one out.😉
Also, why wasn’t the first SpongeBob Movie on here?
Also also, will you ever plan on making a duo series of your 20 best and worst tv shows you’ve ever watched???😃Lemme know, you have some good ideas in mind.😉😉

Another interesting list. While I’m not a fan of all of the entries on this list, there are some picks which I am absolutely on board with. My personal favourites from this list would be The Incredibles and Aladdin, with Wreck It Ralph and Shrek 2 also being movies I view in a particularly high regard.

There's nothing on the list which I really dislike but my least favourites on this list would probably be Inside Out and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. The plot, main characters and world building of Inside Out don't really work that well for me despite its strong emotional moments and while Cloudy can be sweet and charming at times, I don't find it all that funny and I always found the third act of the movie to be the least enjoyable part of the movie. I do want to clarify that I don't think either of these movies are bad. They just don't connect with me as they do others.
Everything else on this list which I have seen I can at least call good movies I enjoyed, even if they are not among my favourites.

My dad passed away when I was a kid, and I think that really affected the way I watch movies.
Some of my favourites are Finding Nemo, Lion King, The Greatest Showman, and Bambi. I truly believe those are all amazing movies anyway, but the parental and most fatherly themes of those films gut me every time. Coco and Inside Out get me as well, but almost any movie where the plot is directly attached to a parental figure either dying or learning to be a better parent wrecks me.
Of course there’s also movies that were my dads favourites that I hold in high regards. He loved Care Bears for no reason, Lord of the Rings, Over the Hedge, and Willow.
Sometimes I wish I could have a more logical stance when it comes to movies, judge them for how good it is and not just how it affected me, but I also like just enjoying movies :)

Toy Story 3 is definitely a great send-off to the franchise as a whole, and despite me thinking that 2 is the objectively better movie, I cannot get enough of the amazing story of the first movie. For as "obsolete" it may seem, the original film had a cast of characters that were all recognizable from the start, the main characters of the story have more complexity in their personality, and my favoirte part has to be the existential journey that Buzz Lightyear goes throughout the entire length of the film, a journey that interconnects with Woody's character arc of starting with jealousy and envy, to admitting that someone else is better than him. Nowadays, the scene where Buzz sits there with the rocket strapped on his back, pondering about his existence as a toy and thinking he's useless and insignificant, while Woody telling the space ranger toy that he's the best toy a kid could ever want and at the same time exposing his vulnerabilities because he himself feels useless to a life he's given so much meaning (which is being a toy to be played with by a loving kid and make memories together) is a scene that really brings a tear to my eye because of how real it is if taken in a real-life context. Two characters that were always at odds with each other now felt like they were at the bottom of the barrel, with one thinking that all his life was a lie and that he was never "destined for greatness" while the other, being jealous of the former for their outstanding feats, feels himself that he's worthless because the only thing he was good at, he now finds someone who can do it better. The moment Buzz realizes how much it means to Woody to be played with by Andy, and at the same time, once he sees the value of making precious memories with a child that needs their toys instead of trying to save the galaxy, is done so without ANY dialogue whatsoever and you only see his facial expression for the most part. Again, that part makes me tear up because it's something I can actually feel happening in real life to many people who've been in similar situations, and the fact that they manage to pull each other back up by the end of the film is just marvelous and truly shows the value of companionship and teamwork despite the bitter rivalry they had with each other before.
And I also gotta mention the moment when Buzz finally soars through the air and actually gets to achieve his dream of "flying". Of course, this isn't the way Buzz intended to do so nor is it "ideal", but it is perfect for his capabilities as a toy. And as a final touch, he denies going back to his delusion of space ranger and embraces the truth that his friend has been telling him all this time: "I'm not flying, I'm falling... with style!". All that as Woody, who's been jealous of Buzz being capable of doing the unthinkable and constantly trying to prove he was "still the favorite one", now celebrates Buzz's ultimate triumph with his former rival's iconic line: "TO INFINITY... AND BEYOND!"
I cannot stretch how relatable the first movie is and how hard it hits for people who've been through the same experience, seriously, i'd believe this movie could be used to treat depression for all ages.

The Incredibles has to be my favorite Pixar movie, closely followed by Toy Story 2. The Incredibles is such a well made movie. Every single character is so loveable in their own right and each member of the Parr family go through such significant character growth (with the exception of Jack Jack because he's a literal infant). Bob realizes how negligent he's been towards his family in his desire to chase the glory days and vows to be there for his family, Helen learns to trust the abilities of her children and empower them to be the best they can be instead of forcing them to fall into the normalcy that is forced onto the supers, and Dash and Violet together are a fantastic power duo and despite how much they bicker, they prove time and time again that they will always have each other's backs as well as how to combine their powers to be borderline unstoppable. I love that we get both a villain turned hero in Mirage as well as a villain that's so vile that redemption isn't an option, and yet remains as such a well fleshed out villain that you can't help but love in Syndrome. I agree that Syndrome has to be the greatest villain to ever come from Pixar. I love the charm of Frozone and the hilarity of Edna Mode. hell, even Jack Jack gets a moment to shine at the end of the movie after being absent for a majority of it. It hits all the emotional beats so well, the intensity is phenomenal, and it tells a heartwarming tale of a family overcoming adversity together. I have always loved how this movie pokes fun at the clique tropes of most super hero movies, like how villains always monolog and waste valuable time when they could get everything they want without the unnecessary theatrics (I absolutely love the scene where Syndrome says "you sly dog, you caught me monologing"), and the characters make calculated and intelligent decisions and their quick thinking is incredible (pun absolutely intended). The ending scene is amazing too with the reveal of The Underminer, ending the movie on a high note. It's good that they didn't make a sequel that could potentially ruin everything that The Incredibles stood for

One thing I’ll say about The Incredibles, as while yes it’s at its core it’s a story about a family who happens to have superpowers, as someone how has such a huge love and appreciation for the superhero genre (and no, that doesn’t mean I just watch marvel movies) the incredibles shows such love for the superhero genre which is hard to come by these days, it’s either a marvel movie or a cynical deconstruction that just tells me how the genre is dumb and how I’m dumb for liking it, the incredibles tells a story that can be enjoyed by all ages, that gives a interesting and fresh portrayal of the superhero genre without being cynical or mean spirited.
*Edit: thanks for giving me a excuse to look up a bunch of stuff on the Incredibles but upon that, I’ve seen and I’ve caught on to that Brad Bird was more inspired by spy movies (which I already saw and identified but the superhero stuff sticked out and resonated with me most) and the superhero elements were more of a surface level element, with the inspiration of Brad Birds family situations, but even then, I still resonate with how the film utilises the superhero genre to make something that, yes, makes jokes at some tropes like villain monologues etc, still creates a great story, that is enhanced and made by the utilisation of the superhero genre. In closing, the Incredibles good movie

I have a special soft spot for the Sonic movies. I never actually played any of the games, and my first real exposure to the characters was Sonic Boom (wasn't impressed). But, Valentine's Day 2020 the first Sonic movie came out, and I went with a close friend to see what it was about.
    I loved it.
But then all the theaters closed for the Pandemic, and I never saw another movie on the big screen until late 2021.
Then I went to Sonic 2 with my mom, the first time she and I had seen a movie in the theater with just the two of us in years. And we both loved it.
So yeah. Can't wait to make new memories with the third one coming out.

    My top 10
    #10: Kung Fu Panda
Excellent choreography, likable and entertaining characters, and breathtaking atmosphere makes this an awesome film from start to finish.
    #9: Wreck it Ralph
As a longtime video game player, I can say this was a great love letter to the realm of arcade games and video games.
    #8: The Peanuts Movie
One of the most faithful adaptations of a pre-existing classic franchise I’ve ever seen. How other’s manage to screw up these kinds of films, I’ll never understand.
    #7: Wall-E
A beautifully crafted movie with such lovable and charming characters, engaging moments, and almost lifelike animation
    #6: Monsters Inc
Takes such a simple idea and manages to one of the most imaginative, creative, funny, and emotional story. Easily my favorite Pixar film.
    #5: Rio
I didn’t expect to love this film as much as I did, but there’s so much about it that stuck with me a decade later
    #4: Whisper of the Heart
A film that really speaks to me on so many levels thanks to its touching story, relatable characters, charming relationships, and imaginative elements.
    #3: The Lion King
Disney’s crowning achievement in the realm of filmmaking following the man’s passing. He would be very proud.
    #2: The Spongebob Squarepants Movie
Maybe this might be a bit bias, but as both a standalone film and an adaptation to the renowned series, it’s masterful.
    #1: Lilo and Stitch
It’s really not even that close of a competition. The family aspect is some of the best I’ve seen, the alien aspect surprising meshes well and manages to still be engaging, the animation and atmosphere are gorgeous to look at. I can go on.

Here are some of my dumb picks for favorite movies:
Surf's Up: My all time favorite, stunning visual effects, amazing mockumentary format, and very enjoyable characters and comedy I chuckle at to this day, I won't gush about it too much since I already asked what your opinion for it was on the Q&A, but I'm interested on what you have to say about it.
The Bad Guys: Am I the only person who actually read the books before seeing this movie, everyone was like "Wow a new Dreamworks movie" While I was, "Wow they're making a book series I loved into a movie". Anyways the movie is amazing, I can see the complaints people have with it, especially the twist villain anyone could see from a mile away, (Multiplied by 10000% if you've read the books) but I still find them enjoyable as a character and villain, honestly I very much like all the characters in this film, they all bounce off each other so well that I was constantly grinning through out most of the film. Not the greatest adaptation in the world, (I think the deleted intro makes for a much better TV show/film) but a great movie nonetheless.
Klaus: My favorite Christmas film, the only thing I can critiques about this film is the "liar revealed", if you can even call it that, but other than that this film is a visual masterpiece with some comedy and characters too boot.
I like a lot of other movies but I can't find the right words to describe it here so that will be all roast me in the replies.

man i'm always so happy to see phineas and ferb: across the 2nd dimension go toe to toe with cinematic releases, it truly has EVERYTHING. the flynn fletcher family's dynamics are incredibly strong and put to the test in every way that matters in that film, specially phineas, who rarely gets put in challenging situations in the show. it's probably the best showcase of how he can get in over his head and get short tempered and snappy when things don't work that iSN'T treated as a joke, and it shows just how much he blindly trusts his family to do what's in his family's best interest because that's what he would do. AND you get an awesome dystopia version of them ( the coolest possible thing you could show anyone, really ) AND incredibly creative action sequences given the budget and what they're working with AND even with the insanity of some of the scenes, everything still makes SENSE. AND if you're a fan, you basically get a lot of questions answered without it feeling too fanservice-y. seeing phineas and ferb work alongside perry is one of the best payoffs the movie has .

The world building, the characters, the humor, the dramatic scenes, and to top it all off the fact that its a video game movie. I love how all of the side and background character made for this movie blends in perfectly with the real video games cameos, I love how this movie doesn’t need to rely on the cameos! Raph is the perfect protagonist as he goes from wanting to be a hero for the praise and love to wanting to be a genuine hero to his best friend and is willing to sacrifice himself for it. There is TOO much to say about this movie and I am jealous of its writing. I am absolutely thrilled to see this movie number 5 in this video

Some of my favorites in no particular order, might get updated as time goes on:
The Little Mermaid (It's my favorite Disney film of all time, but I can't really explain why. The romance isn't as good as Aladdin or Tangled, but it's still cute. The characters are endearing as all heck, the music slaps, the animation is stunning, no wonder it kicked off the Disney renaissance.)
The Cars trilogy (yes, even Cars 2; after realizing TS4 was shit, Cars 2 became a guilty pleasure of mine, I can have fun watching it unlike TS4)
The Toy Story trilogy (even if you DO like TS4 or whatever, Toy Story will always be a trilogy to me, with only epilogue stuff that stopped when Don Rickles died. R.I.P. to the goat.)
The Shrek trilogy (Shrek 1 is a strong start, Shrek 2 was the best one, and Shrek Forever After is an underrated masterpiece of a conclusion. I feel like I'm forgetting something, but whatever it was it's not important.)
Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure (not just the best Thomas and Friends movie, but arguably one of the most underrated animated movies of all time)
Sonic Movie duology (both of these are surprisingly fun times, ESPECIALLY Sonic 2. Here's hoping Sonic 3 sticks the landing for the series if it's a trilogy, and that it goes out with a bang.)
Space Jam (Not necessarily a masterpiece of cinema, but it was still a fun romp, where nothing makes sense but it doesn't matter because the film knows this and just wants to have fun. Again, it's a guilty pleasure of mine.)
Aladdin (You described why most of us like it like it better than I ever could.)
The Lion King (do I need to say it?)
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (A phenomenal closing chapter to the canon of SpongeBob, if they had stopped there I would be perfectly content with it being the ending, but aside from that it's hilarious and fun as all hecc.)
The Emperor's New Groove (this might be the funniest Disney movie ever created.)
Wreck it Ralph (What you said in the video is essentially true. I love video games, I love animated Disney movies. Put em together and what do ya get? A one of a kind masterpiece with great characters, story, drama, comedy, all that jazz.)
The Incredibles (Truly a masterclass of cinema, this was Brad Bird and Pixar at the top of their game. The family dynamic was so damn fun to see and the payoffs were so much fun.)
The Peanuts Movie (Honestly, even though Peanuts specials are still being made on Apple TV's streaming service, I'm perfectly content with this movie being the series finale of Peanuts, like how Endgame is a finale for the MCU.)
The Magic Railroad Parody (The greatest attack on an egotistical producer ever known to man, a perfect experience if you've ever been perplexed by the mediocre Thomas and the Magic Railroad from 2000. This passion project is truly something to behold and deserves to be watched, by Thomas fans or movie riffers alike. Link: th-cam.com/video/6dNdpb7GFTo/w-d-xo.html)

Damn it man you got me bawling my eyes out just talking about Toy Story 3. It’s only one of the few movies I remember watching in theaters as a kid and sobbing my eyeballs out and while I didn’t watch it again for a long time due to how sad it made me as I got older I watched it again and my love for it grew exponentially and only continued to grow as time went on (especially ESPECIALLY because of Toy Story 4 😡😡😡). It makes me laugh, cry and feel utter joy watching it every time and it feels amazing to know someone who had a lot of the same experiences and feelings about it when I was a kid to present day. To Infinity and Beyond.

How this man felt about Toy Story 3 was everything I felt about the Netflix show Lost Ollie. I did not expect a mini series about a lost toy looking for his kid to strike my core with raw joy, despair, terror, tears, and insurmountable hope. The music instantly filled my skin with goosebumps the moment I turned on the first episode. The flashbacks, whether they belonged to the title character or someone else, somehow managed to do a phenomenal job at capturing the realism of a family as each member tries handling the coming hardships. The twist villain, very much like Lotso, is terrifying, and understandable in their motivations for being that way. But the bond between Ollie and his kid Billy…OH MY GOODNESS. This driving force is just about the most wholesome depiction of childhood I have ever seen. It does not hold back from giving you the same sense of comfort, wonder, and joy as you would remembering an old friend, a favorite toy, or pastime adventures you enjoyed as a kid. Please, whoever reads this, PLEASE give this series a chance! 🙏

Here are some of my favorite movies of all time:
Howard The Duck: An incredibly campy and fun joyride, that I love so much, I made sure it was the first movie I ever reviewed.
Airplane!: The best comedy ever made. Great acting, enjoyable atmosphere, funny jokes every minute, and gave us Leslie Neilsen's comedic career.
The Naked Gun: An incredibly fun comedy movie that continued Leslie Neilsen's comedic legacy, and carried the life of a TV series that deserved better.
Blazing Saddles: Mel Brooks' best film, period. The comedy is hilarious, the way it tackles racism is nothing short of brilliant, and it's a fantastic western parody in every sense of the word.
Hudson Hawk: While everyone loves to pronounce Die Hard as Bruce Willis' best film, I think his best film is Hudson Hawk. Don't get me wrong, Die Hard is awesome. But Hudson Hawk is just an enjoyably fun film, with awesome characters, unique humor, and a ton of adventure.
The Muppet Movie: Pure cinematic brilliance. Awesome humor, likable characters, perfect cameos, and an all-around joy to watch.
Drop Dead Fred: An incredibly fun and sweet movie, with great acting, gripping drama, and the late Rik Mayall shining as the enjoyably obnoxious Drop Dead Fred.
Good Burger: The best film Nickelodeon ever made. Hilarious humor, likable characters, and an enjoyably campy, silly tone.
Chairman Of The Board: A creative and fun comedy, with awesome jokes, creative inventions, and Carrot Top as the brilliantly fun Edison.
Freddy Got Fingered: One of the greatest films ever made. Insanely funny, enjoyably trollish, and full of iconic moments.
Everything Everywhere All At Once: The undisputed king of 2022. Funny, gripping, creative, action-packed, and beautiful.
Elf: The best Christmas movie ever made. A great premise, hilarious jokes, Christmas Spirit up the wazoo, and Will Ferrell shining as Buddy.
Last Action Hero: An incredibly underrated and meta-action film satire, with a ton of hilarious jokes, and a deliciously enjoyable villain.
Clue: An energetic and fun murder mystery movie with great humor, a phenomenal cast, and an iconic choose your own adventure-type ending. Also, it's probably the only good movie to ever be based on a board game.
Sorry To Bother You: A brilliantly clever film with a likable main character, fantastic satire, and an enjoyably WTF twist.

Going off of this, I’d like to recommend How to Train Your Dragon (only the first one) and Kung Fu Panda (1 and 2)- they have extremely tight plots, while capturing the magic of their respective worlds through the art style, worldbuilding, and even score.
On the subject of video game adaptations, I’d also highly recommend Arcane. While it is based off the League of Legends characters, the story that it tells makes it feel more like a real, lived in world than I have seen in almost any other movie. It has a very complex storyline, while balancing each aspect and staying coherent the whole way through. It’s either my favorite or second favorite tv show/movie out there

My all time favorite movie is Monsters University. Yes, it's not perfect: Randall seems very forced in the movie and the second act follows an all too familiar linearity, but the love I feel for every single frame is immense.
The third act is genuinely unexpected and brilliant, with a very good moral that you can't always make your dreams come true, but you can always reach the field you want. All reinforced by the expulsion from the university which completely overturns expectations.
The Scare Games are really underestimated: every single test manages to encompass everything a scarer needs to learn to approach work, with a cliché continuation, but really fun as if you were watching it for the first time.
The relationship between Mike and Sulley is also credible and naturally developed. Thanks to this movie, you can understand what makes the famous duo so great in the masterpiece that is Monsters Inc.
The new characters are fun and while they don't shine with enormous depth, they are the perfect characters for this story. Johnny from ROR is my all time favorite character and I feel like you can't talk about him enough.
The comedy in this movie is great too, with great lines perfectly packaged.
It's not as perfect as Pete Doctor's first masterpiece, but heck I love every single aspect of this movie!

Hey Gaming Magic Great list you had right here. If you wanna know what are my Top 7 favorite movies of all time well here they are:
7.UP (2009): This was another film when Pixar was at their peak and it really shows, I watched this film so much as a kid and looking back at it I can see why, the characters, the story, the emotion, the hilarious moments and the climax is what made this film for me and this movie will always be awesome.
    6. Shrek 2 (2004): Everything that you said in that video is what I can agree with right here. Plus it was actually the first Shrek Movie I have ever seen and of course like you I have watched this film over and over and over again, and I'm glad to call it one of my favorite movies of all time.
    5. Bolt (2008): Possibly one of my favorite CGI Disney animated movies alongside Zootopia, however compare to Zootopia I do find Bolt to be more enjoyable, it's an fun road trip movie about a dog trying to get a reality check with the help of some friends along the way in which includes a cat and a hamster that joins him on his journey to get back to his owner.
    4. Lilo and Stitch 1 (2002): One of my favorite 2D Disney Movies, and for good reason. The Characters are great, the soundtrack are catchy, the action scenes are very fun to look at and Stitch's Comedic Antics are so hilarious. To quote Knuckles in Sonic Heroes regarding the film, ''What a Wild Ride''.
    3. Toy Story 1 (1995): I agree with you Gaming Magic Toy Story 3 is AMAZING and Toy Story 2 is pretty good and I agree with you that Toy Story 4 is a dumpster fire. But I will always consider the first movie to be my favorite film in the series and my favorite movies of all time for all the same reasons what everybody says about this movie, the amazing and memorable characters, the great soundtrack by Randy Newman, the good but outdated animation and the iconic story of working together and learning that you don't have to favorite to anybody all the time no matter who you are. Such an amazing movie.
    2. Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope (1977): While you aren't a Star Wars Fan, But I wanted to say that the Original Film that started an iconic franchise will always be my favorite film of all time as well as my favorite Star Wars film of the bunch for the same reasons people say, the memorable characters, the intense action scenes, the AMAZING and iconic soundtrack by John Williams, and the creative underdog story of a group of people trying to defeat a corrupted government. This is a film that I will never or nobody will ever forget.
    1. Ghostbusters 1 (1984): What else can I say about this movie I love it I love it and I LOVE IT. Look Gaming Magic I know you haven't seen this movie but let me explain my history with this film and the whole franchise. You see when I was a little kid I was one of the most scaredy cat kids you can think of due to me getting scared and frightened by a lot of things during when I was little from getting scared of the dark, to getting constant nightmares, seeing a clip of the 1931 Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Movie on Discovery Channel or Animal Planet (Don't ask), a scary demonic doll on a Spanish Soap Opera, and the final nails in the coffin for me being Slender Man and the 1995 Goosebumps TV Series and then came this movie, a movie about a group of guys busting ghosts with all types of unique gadgets to catch them, Funny enough at first when I first watched it on TV for the first time alongside it's first sequel Ghostbusters 2 I just liked both of them however the only thing I loved about them was the insanely iconic catchy as hell theme song which I consider it my number 1 favorite song of all time. But back to the topic, then I found out that Ghostbusters 1 was on Netflix and I decided to give the film another chance and I enjoyed it a lot more then I did in my first viewing and soon I watched it over and over again and well, the rest was basically history as I became the massive Ghostbusters Fan I am today. But anyways the reason I love this movie so much is because of what I said earlier, this film taught me to be brave and conquer my fears from horror related media and staying FAR AWAY from it as possible and like I said the titular heroes have awesome and unique gadgets to defend themselves and fight back against paranormal entities like Ghost and Demons. Not only that the film taught me to be brave but it also inspired me to write my own stories with the style and format of this film due to how it's memorable characters, great but half-baked special effects, hilarious moments, great amount of lines of dialogue that I still quote, the amazing soundtrack by the late Elmer Bernstein and Catchy Theme song had a huge effect on me. Something that it's Two Direct Sequels (Ghostbusters 2 & Ghostbusters: Afterlife) and the controversial 2016 film FAILED to recapture on what made the Original Film so timeless. In Fact I actually reviewed All 3 Of the Original Ghostbusters Movies, to show people why I love the original movie and the entire franchise (for the most part) and I will never forget how much this film changed my life forever for better or worse.
