    .. can't thank you enuff for this basic shoulder workout... I've had a few different surgeries of the past few years and as I was getting back into the gym , I was at a loss for exercises that wouldn't cause pain or another issue... the bent over lateral raises are great but I started using the " plate raise " and have had no pain during the movement... thanks again and i hope to pick your brain from time to time..

    Hi Lee,
    I've been doing Standing Shoulder Press for about 7 months, and I have seen quite of an improvement in my front deltoids. Now my problem is my Side and Rear delts. They aren't as big as my front delts. I have been doing Lateral Raises and Rear Deltoid Rows, but I don't feel any improvements with those exercises. I use half of the weights I use in Shoulder Press for my Lateral Raises. For my rear delts, I'm going to try your exercise.
    Thanks :)

    Lee, thanks so much for making these videos. Very informative. I find that a lot of it just confirms what I'm already doing which is in and of itself extremely helpful and I also find excellent new things to add in that I never thought of. I had never heard of the Bradford press until you just showed it in your video. I'm doing shoulders tonight and that's going to be a great finisher! Thanks a bunch!

    Are 5 Exercises enough for a good MASS workout ? I am just curious.I generally do like , 6,7 or even 8 Exercises for shoulders.My take on this is that i am only hitting shoulder once a week.So,why not hammer it as hard as possible & let it recover for 6 days until my next shoulder day.

    Hey Lee i've been told that doing your workout slower is better, but seems that all these videos i watch everyone always does them a steady quick pace. Not too fast of course. Is there really a difference? Is it safe to assume that you would recommend to do them at the speed you show in this video? Because I do my workouts way slower than this and i don't even know if it works lol i mean i've seen results but maybe if i did it at your pace i will see more result?

    My trainer told me that when you do side lateral raise, you dont have to bend in order to lift s the weight sideways. you are slightly bending cos you are doing this with heavy dumbell? my trainer told me, take light weight and dont bend, do the lateral raise straight. which is correct?

  • @jrepnin
    @jrepnin 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lee this is the exact routine I use and I learned right here watching your vid. thnx. On the bent over dumbbell flies your using a natural grip. Wouldn't a pronated grip target the rear delt more or is there more risk of injury using a pronated grip for that exercise?
