My old best friend got me into Tally Hall. I never really talk to her anymore, but Tally Hall always puts a smile on my face for remembering the good times we had.
It's always a pleasant surprise to hear tally hall. It was actually one of the ruler of everything rips about 2 years ago that got me into them and ever since they've been a staple in all of my playlists. Edit: listened to the community playlist of all tally hall rips. I'm amazed I managed to miss a whole tally hall takeover, which is the bulk of them, then there's a handful of ruler of everything as I imagined there was, but also many banana man songs. Before the takeover, it seems the most common way to find tally hall rips was in clusterfuck type rips where it changes meme constantly. Also a handful of Shia Lebouf by Rob cantor, but that's not really tally hall.
@@sham_noway there was one fairly recently of variations on a cloud and I'm sure there was some other miracle musical song at some point, can't remember the base rips though. Aside from that I think it's only been a handful of ruler of everything rips

i think part of Turn The Lights Off's feel comes from the absurd and... vaguely off-putting? lyrics behind an uplifting melody, so combining that melody with the instrumentation of an equally uplifting track just sorta works, since the contrast between the lyrics and instrumental is no longer a factor.
Tally Hall rips always make me happy since 2015/16 was a very important year to me musically since I separately discovered Tally Hall and got into pseudo-Siivagunner Soundclown meme shit. These are the culmination of both of those and I love all of them :))
