    I appreciate you sharing your process. Fear is such an interesting part of the process ❤

    Nice flow i like it! Don’t be too hard on yourself. We’re not to judge what we do but the crowd. We’re completely biased, usually negatively biased. Don’t listen to yourself :) this is great!

      Also interested to know why you went for the Serge 8 step sequencer, instead of another multistage. Have you written about that anywhere?

    • @LucasMarchal
      @LucasMarchal  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@benholmes2217 I went for that one just because I wanted something similar but different from the Multistage. It's very playable and super fun to tweak on the fly, it has its own cool stuff going on, althouth it's overall less powerful.

    Great Jam!! (Lots of brain cycles and soul went into it, I guess ...)
    How about a video on the Odessa, your thoughts on it and what you use it for?

      Thank you ! I will do a vid about Odessa for sure, probably late September though. I love that oscillator

    Most hybrid photo/video cameras stop filming after 30 minutes. It’s because of a weird legal limitation - if the camera stops recording after 30 minutes then it doesn’t classify as a video camera and thus is legible for a lower import tax in some countries.

    • @LucasMarchal
      @LucasMarchal  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I know it's dumb... I though mine did film more than 30min but maybe not...

      I was always told it was to do with the sensor overheating over prolonged usage..Your answer sounds more interesting.

    • @vinylarchaeologist
      @vinylarchaeologist 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@festuswilliams654 Sensor overheating is an issue, too. But then the camera stops recording altogether. If it stops after 30 minutes and you restart it right away, it will record for another 30 minutes and so on. if sensor overheating were the issue then it would require you to take a longer break between takes.

    Hello ! Nice live !
    What do you use for sequencing your drums and witch module produce this big ass Kick ?
    Thank you ! Keep it up

    • @LucasMarchal
      @LucasMarchal  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thank you :) All the drums sounds (kick included) are coming from the Jomox Alphabase, the beige box on the left. I'm using the onboard sequencer.

    at 16:05 where the big delay of the Dfam notes come from? I see your right hand touch the Dfam's resonace, but I don't think it increase the delay

    Hi, do u use a filter with odessa or just its controls? Cheers

    • @LucasMarchal
      @LucasMarchal  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've almost always used it with a filter. So far it's mostly been with the Verbos Bark Filter (like here) so more of a filterbank than a classic filter.

    • @raskolnikov1242
      @raskolnikov1242 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LucasMarchal OK, nice. It's just the perfect mediums layer for a techno set and seemed to me to be such a "strident" beast to tame". So it needs a filter... THX! Hope you play to some techno clubs soon. You're ready and deserve-full. It's just perfect what you do. A++ (chais pas pk on parle en anglais lol)

      @@raskolnikov1242 Ce qui est cool avec Odessa c'est que tu peux faire une ligne de basse avec la Fondamentale, et un lead avec les autres sorties. Il se marie très bien avec un filtre ! Parfait pour des petits sons / lead à la Planetary Assault System ! J'ai fait un live cet été, il y en aura d'autres :)
