There were a few things cut from the book so here it is -the bite on jessup in the book was actually from a raccoon and it didn’t happen on the train car. It actually happened in the zoo -Lucy Gray and Coryo actually had there first kiss in front of the other tributes and mentors the night before the games -I wish they would have included the blush compact more because in the books it belonged to Coryo’s mother and he used the compact as a form of comfort for himself and when he gave it to Lucy Gray Lucy Gray said that the whole time she was in the games she kept on reminding herself that she had to return the compact to him and that’s what kept her going -In the book the guy actually tore the flag and ripped it up into pieces for each tribute. He also “buried” the tributes over time after each tribute died instead of all at once. That’s why the flag scene was so controversial, but I guess the directors didn’t want to tear up a country’s flag even if it’s fake -the covey was a lot more prominent in the book then they are in the movie -the song that Katniss sings to rue when she is dying is actually sung by Lucy gray to Maude ivory in the books. That’s why many people theorize that Lucy gray or Maude ivory are katniss’s grandma. Katniss’s father was known to have a great singing voice in the books which is what made katniss’s mother fall in love with him in the first place - coryo actually is a peacekeeper for weeks before sejanus comes and he is contemplating suicide at this point. When sejanus comes is when he turns around his mindset - when coryo is a peacekeeper, he feels like he can’t trust sejanus on several occasions because he has secret meetings, always walked away at the covey concerts and Coryo found thousands of dollars hidden away in sejanus’s belongings. This caused Coryo to feel like he had to keep Seianus in line because he didn’t want anything bad to happen to him -also the movie cut out the group of other peacekeeper people that coryo and sejanus hung out with. I wish they included it because it was a nice dynamic -they cut out coryo’s relation ship with sejanun’s mom and this showed how he took advantage of sejanun’s family especially after his death - the hanging tree song actually explains events in the book and it’s more explained in the books. “They strung up a man they say he murdered three” is the man that was hanged in the beginning of part 3. “Where the dead man called out for his love to flee” is when the man called out for the girl to run before he was hanged. “Where I told you to run so we’d both be free” billy actually tried to convince Lucy gray to leave district 12 with him(involving sejanun’s plan) which is why Billy said that she is coming with me when Lucy came into the situation at the barn. “Where a necklace of rope side by side with me” Billy wanted to hang himself but he wanted Lucy gray to do it with him”. Lucy also sang this at her last concert and used the line “where we met at midnight in the hanging tree” as a hint to Coryo for where to meet instead of telling him directly to be less suspicious - In the book when coryo recorded sejanus, he didn’t speak so his voice wasn’t in the recording at all. Because of this coryo thought that nothing would happen and that no one would know it was coryo who sent it and sejanus wouldn’t get in trouble because he hoped that However doctor gual knew because she taught him how to use the jabber jay remote -the movie also cut out clemmy’s storyline with the snakes. Coryo visited her in the hospital several times and her skin was turning into rainbow scales and her eyes were yellow -snow always hated mockingjays because they weren’t natural. He came of with the idea of gathering the jabberjays and he wanted to kill them. However dr. Gaul wanted some for experiments which is what coryo and sejanus were doing in the movie -this book/movie shows why snow hated katniss so much because katniss is a constant reminder of Lucy gray. Katniss was “the mockingjay” and Lucy gray literally abandoned him with mockingjays. Lucy gray also wrote the song hanging tree which became the anthem for the revolution and if I were snow I would be going through a fever dream hearing that song again😂 I kind of said a lot and I think I even missed some stuff too, but I just wanted to give a little more details from the book that was kept out of the movie. To think that "The Hanging Tree" song was written by Lucy Grey about Snow. I absolutely loved that choice. Throughout the film, you can see signs of Snow's true character. He was coming up with most of the ideas that were in the present Hunger Games. He didn't have to kill that tribute and the mayors daughter or rat out his friend, but he did. Lucy was the person that broke him. When I say that, I don't mean he was broken-hearted. It is that she revealed him as the monster that he always was. @@carleeelders875 i haven’t read the books myself, but if you have seen anyone else’s reactions to this movie, in the comments the book readers that read this book before ever seeing the movie, says the song was made by lucy before snow ever killed anyone (i forget who they say it’s truly made for) trust me as someone who hasn’t read the books, the song matches up almost too much for it to not be about snow. but idk. who knows at this point. i’ll eventually read the book myself but for now it definitely seems a lot like it’s about snow
I feel like knowing it’s a prequel about President Snow may have added to this reaction 😅 that’s what makes the movie, we watch how he got to where he is in the hunger games og- it is what it is ofc reaction is still great 👍🏼 watching the manipulation and tying things into the og movies etc would have put this higher on your list- the book is better than the original books too actually. Thanks for the reaction!!
Omg I hope you are safe. I watched this movie and Killers of the flower moon and the whole time I was thinking of the parallels. I can't believe people watch these types of movies and then support zionism with their whole chest, it's like they learned nothing. 😭
tells us to go watch hunger games if we dont know the rebellion song but then Billy doesnt know : - the notes to the rebellion sign (sounded like an ambulance) - doesnt know who katniss is - doesnt know that this is the future president in the hunger games (billy mentioned he hopes he dies hence not know who he is cause obv he lives on0 love you billy lol all in good fun
15:06 if you like audio books at all, I highly recommend listening to this one. Clemmy doesn't die . . . . . . . . Spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . Clemmy ends up developing scales on her arm and neck, and has a hard time keeping her tongue in her mouth. She's kept in the hospital for months, away from everyone, and her family was told she had the flu. She's the first Capitol citizen to have animal-like physical alterations (similar to how Tigress ends up with whiskers in the 3rd or 4th book of The Hunger Games)
So. Snow is genius and I ain’t mad at the hustle. Could use another movie of his continued rise- the actor killed it. I want a movie where we can kind of root for a bad guy in a way lol (not for the hunger games, for the villain)
@@lisa.222 agreed, one thing for me tho, he wasn’t good, but I don’t think evil is what he is either. Id say evil is just something someone is- based on just enjoying inflicting pain just as a psychopathic tendency, doing bad things and not seeing any moral dilema at all for all of it while also differentiating from the societal standards. The hunger games is the societal standards. They have this twisted outlook but still a point, and he had goals to get to, manipulated and did some things but also grew up with it in the society he’s in so it’s not that he’s NOT doing what the society around him is in a way if that makes sense.
27:04 FYI, once you develop symptoms, rabies is almost always fatal. You can get a shot after being bitten in an attempt to stop the infection but if it does take hold, the outlook isn't good
Ya I think there are like 20 recorded cases where a person survived after symptoms appeared. But only due to being put into a medical coma and kept alive by machines until the virus ran its course. Interestingly there are some studies in India that indicate some people might have either been born with antibodies or were infected by a weaker strain from bats that is less deadly which then gave a similar protection to a vaccination.
I loved it, though I read the book, so that made me like it more. It's funny to me that some people say it needed to be shorter and some longer. I don't really care. All I care is that I cracked up when Billy did the salute with the "weewoo weewoo." I forgot about that and "Catalina!" Billy so crazy!😂

@@kbr0122 bro what you mean the way he kills people is savage like Billy likes. He’s smart with how he kills people bro. VILLIANS ARE SOMETIMES THE BEST CHARACTERS.
I agree that the movie was okay. For those who watch it not having red the bookthe story is rushed and can't hit as deep or truly correct to why Snow reacts as rashly as he does in the original series. The book shows the characters develop and it's more brutal like a whole week to two of torture is missing and you get Snows internal dialogue.
The biggest issue with translating books to film is that we miss all the characters' internal thoughts. In the book, it's EXTREMELY obvious how selfish and paranoid Snow is. He constantly calls Lucy Gray "my girl" (as in his property) and only thinks about how SHE can help HIM rise in status. He does fall in love with her, but in a controlling way. In the end, Snow doesn't even aim to shoot Lucy Gray (hallucination or real) because he's just randomly shooting where he thinks she might be. What happens to her in the end is a complete mystery.
Me like Billy, he can't die he's President Snow, not realizing until the end you didn't know it was a prequel. 😂 ILU man. One of the best reactors out there. I did like the music a lot but I get why some people thought it was overdone.
The Menu !!! #bingers (Mello watched and I LOVEDDDDD his reaction, I am super curious about how you would you would react to the psychological thriller) ✨✨
billy , babe . it’s called a ballad of songbirds and snakes . there’s going to be some singing ! 😅 also the bow at the reaping ? was a carbon copy of the one katniss does. and yes , they do keep the tributes at the zoo. to the capitol district kids are nothing but animals , anyways . so to them it makes sense to keep them there. needless to say , all the actors in this movie are superb . they all did an excellent job embodying their roles .
Most of the reviews for the movie said it was mid or a soulless cash grab but I gotta say this commentary made it seem actually pretty good, I might actually watch it 😂
It is hands-down the best book and the best movie of all of them, I am stunned that anyone could even disagree! I haven’t actually heard anyone disagree, seeing comments like this is the only thing that let me know that it received any negative feedback.
This movie is the opposite of a soulless cash grab imo. Like it probably would’ve been more critically and commercially successful if they had taken out more of the book’s soul and philosophical themes. But they seemed to really care about preserving that story, and made a genuinely good effort. Tbh, the main issue with it is just that there was too much book for one movie, especially with such heavy material. A limited series would’ve been an ideal adaptation for this book, but I was still pretty happy with the movie. I feel like people who were negative about it didn’t understand the soul of the original books and movies either.
The movie was really good. It shows perfectly how people can cheer on evil for a show and how the capital became what it did in the later books/movies. The sad thing is, that I see this as a warning. Im afraid people are not too far from this.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to watch it (I read the trilogy but not the prequel years ago) but my friend and I randomly went to the see it, and I was shocked how perfect of a movie it was. I love analyzing movies and talking about things I’d wish were different, even if I really liked it, but I had no notes.
Just be aware of a lot of singing without it being a musical. They way they made the movie seemed like they were unsure it was a musical themselves. I wonder what kind of music the tributes would sing when they ran at eachother's throats in the arena. Hmmm. Would be funny with and actual musical. Imagine the Broadway performence. Lol But yeah, that is basically the only complaint I have for this movie. It is following the book pretty good.
Okay but the names of the actors. Could just be me but when you said, ``violet something´´ I was like Viola Davis. & then said, ``PD something, donkey.´´ Here I am, Peter Dinklage. Also, the main character in the Hunger Games trilogy, Jennifer Lawrence´s character is : Katniss Everdeen.

The man hanging in the middle of the arena was Marcus, the tribute that Sejanus was the mentor for. He knew him in district 2. He said that his father payed for them to draw Marcus's name at the reaping, so Sejanus would see that they never could go back and things could never be like before.

As a Palestinian, some of the scenes and quotes of these movies hit HARD. The parallels between this series and the plight of my people is staggering.
Omg I hope you are safe. I watched this movie and Killers of the flower moon and the whole time I was thinking of the parallels. I can't believe people watch these types of movies and then support zionism with their whole chest, it's like they learned nothing. 😭
@@yc0995 Thank you! I'm safe since I was born and live abroad because my parents were refugees. And I agree, it's a truly demonic world we live in.
@ness-xp6bq thank goodness 🙏🏽. Praying for Palestine's freedom
It's too bad the director and exec didn't get the memo...
Sending you lots of love ❤ 🇵🇸
Billy figuring it out at the end is just so him its insane
tells us to go watch hunger games if we dont know the rebellion song but then Billy doesnt know :
- the notes to the rebellion sign (sounded like an ambulance)
- doesnt know who katniss is
- doesnt know that this is the future president in the hunger games (billy mentioned he hopes he dies hence not know who he is cause obv he lives on0
love you billy lol all in good fun

I agree I also wish that we could one day get hamiches story when his was the 50th games and it was double the amount so 48 people
He was deff evil tho. Every chance he got he chose evil. But with the circumstances who can blame him
@@lisa.222 agreed, one thing for me tho, he wasn’t good, but I don’t think evil is what he is either.
@@LS13. have you read the book? his internal monologue is really telling. On the first page he straight up thinks about selling Tigris for money
Jimin?! what are you doing here?
I could’ve used another hour of this movie… or even two! Definitely one of the better HG movies.
I was surprised when it ended honestly. I was ready for a montage of his rise to power
Me too! I loved it a lot, I’d happily take more.
I think so too! It was long but it didn't feel like it. It was SUPER well done.
Billy said this is the HUNGER GAMES and I expect DEATH
I feel like we need a compilation video of Billy trying to guess actors' names. Petey Donkey had me in stitches 😂
Bruh, calling Malfoy Teflon Don killed me 😂
Violet Davidson & Petey Donkey really do kill whatever roles they're cast in 🙌
He full on didn’t realize this was a prequel about Snow till the end. Thats wild 😂😂😂
im ngl, this probably the funniest video you’ve ever made billy 😭😭😭 im literally crying
Thank you ❤️❤️
I loved it, though I read the book, so that made me like it more. It's funny to me that some people say it needed to be shorter and some longer. I don't really care. All I care is that I cracked up when Billy did the salute with the "weewoo weewoo." I forgot about that and "Catalina!" Billy so crazy!😂
This has the same energy as “oh this is the 1960’s” -via hairspray 😂
Let’s not talk about that…
“Is this movie a musical?” My brother in Christ it’s called ‘The BALLAD of SONGBIRDS and Snakes’, yes there will be a lot of music 😂😂
Loved the reaction though, especially when you finally realized it was a prequel 😂😂
This was by far my favorite movie of the year 2023, I loved the downfall of Snow I use to not like him but he is my favorite character now!!
Legit a movie where we can root for a villain in a way 😅
You cannot like him, and he be your favorite character at the same time. He's an amazingly written character, but lord you really shouldn't like him lol
umm.. not sure if you got the message but you’re not actually supposed to like him… what he does in this film is enough but he goes on to become a devil
@@kbr0122 bro what you mean the way he kills people is savage like Billy likes. He’s smart with how he kills people bro. VILLIANS ARE SOMETIMES THE BEST CHARACTERS.
@@trevorweinberg7800 Yeah he’s savage for sure and written greatly, but it is a bit alarming if you really like him. He’s a terrible person lol
“Wasn’t there a hunger games movie called the songbird? Or am I mixing that up?”
DO YOU MEAN THE ONE YOU’RE CURRENTLY WATCHING, BILLY? 😂😂
The creepiest part is Sejanus last screams getting repeated by the Mockingjay.
the way that he was trying to pronounce draco malfoy in harry potter😂 harry potter fan here
Me like Billy, he can't die he's President Snow, not realizing until the end you didn't know it was a prequel. 😂
ILU man. One of the best reactors out there. I did like the music a lot but I get why some people thought it was overdone.
It says ballad in the name🤣 ofc there’s music, others were asking the same thing
Lmao oooookaaaaay that's how he tied the shoelaces togetherrrrrr. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
this has to be the funniest reaction to this movie LMAO rapping eminem sold me 37:23
Please let them cast him as Snow in the 2026 movie.
The Menu !!! #bingers (Mello watched and I LOVEDDDDD his reaction, I am super curious about how you would you would react to the psychological thriller) ✨✨
The movie is so good and ik he’d find it funnt
Yes he absolutely should watch it
Oh billy you keep saying snow has to die had me laughing so hard 😂
Then it clicked and i laughed even harder.
Dont ever change billy
Dr Gaul is played by Viola Davis and High bottom is played by Peter Dinklage.
Damn you really don't pay attention 🤣 they say his name Snow a lot in this movie and it's only towards the end that you made the connection 🤣
Pause… we just started and Billy is already mispronouncing words talking about making a “combilation video” 😭😂😂. You’re hilarious omg
Man big headed girl leave me alone 😂 you aint had to point that out 🤣
Nah you were so serious too 😩😂
billy , babe . it’s called a ballad of songbirds and snakes . there’s going to be some singing !
Lol
But yeah, that is basically the only complaint I have for this movie. It is following the book pretty good.
Billy really got the point AT THE VERY END 😂 I just love him
Okay but the names of the actors.
I kno it was long Billy, I was struggling after a hour and 30 in the theaters but overall I liked it. Made me want to read the book
Billy being blind to the plot makes me chuckle 💀
Whenever Billy does the hunger games sound, it sounds more like squid games 😂
Soon as i clicked i knew Billy would be cracking up at Lucky Flickerman 😂
Get y'all Water Ready🍶
Yeah
YOU ARE SO REAL
FOR THAT 😂😂😂
Listened to this soundtrack all day today - Billy, your timing is impeccable !
„You matter, I love you.“
Man, you don’t know how much I needed this right now 😢. Everybody seems to hate me at the moment and telling rumors and shit about me for things I haven’t done.
Love you too ❤ thanks for cheering me up.
Wasn’t there a movie called the songbird?
THIS ONE!
I went to see this movie in the theater with a friend of mine. Neither of us really liked it at the time, but I promise you, watching Billy react to it made it that much better.
Snow is the president from the hunger game
i saw it in theaters and was literally hooked, it’s so good and i liked seeing why he was the way he was lol
edit: i knew there was going to be singing, and she sounded great! but outside of musicals, and like a disney movies..pause on all that
STAB THAT HEFFA! STAB THAT HEFFA! STAB THAT HEFFA! -BillyBinges
I definitely think it should've been a short series on netflix or something
Wouldn’t have made it any better
4:12 Her name is Viola Davis, you’re welcome 😊
I’m a little late but I’m happy to be here, this movie was pretty good and the music as well, glad you reacted to this ❤ make sure to get your water y’all 💁🏽♀️
"I forgot to bring my colon up here with me" is what I heard 😂
Personally I think that Snow was hallucinating shooting Lucy Gray bc he got bit by the snake
He was hallucinating because of his paranoia, not the snake. The snake was non-venomous.
The man hanging in the middle of the arena was Marcus, the tribute that Sejanus was the mentor for. He knew him in district 2. He said that his father payed for them to draw Marcus's name at the reaping, so Sejanus would see that they never could go back and things could never be like before.
“idk what you guys were doing back then” as all the hunger games movies are set in future america 😭
This video is so good! I especially love Rachel Zegler in this movie. Please if the movie comes to streaming after a while of it being in the theater, do the Mean Girls musical movie starring Tina Fey, Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho (the speaking and singing voice of Moana in Moana), and Reneé Rapp, once it comes to streaming #bingers
14:02 I thought you were going to say, "I look just like him with this hat off." 😂
That’s brutal 😭💀
Oooo Billy I like the new background !! It looks so nice~ I got those same plants on my animal crossing island actually 😂
Lol 😂 Billy begging for Corio to die for half the movie not realizing he is Prez Snow from the other ones! That's why he hated Katniss she reminded him of Lucy.
Not the Jonas brothers being the Georgie brothers 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wish this had a point 4 and 5 because I wanted to see more on tigris transformation. I also wanted to see more of snow like atleast like middle age on how he built the capital up from what it was etc.
😂😂😂 Billy's reaction to Jesup dying was hilarious. I rewound the shit like 10 times 😂😂😂
26:55 to answer your question, yes. my grandpa was in the Philippines and got bit by a rabid dog, died within the week
I was looking forward to this moment 😂 favorite reactor reacting to my current obsession
I actually didn't see you reacting to this coming. Maybe later in the year but didn't expect January. #bingers The Blackening
Also I love how you were not feeling any of the songs and we're like I hope she doesn't sing again and then loved every song after that statement
games started with a snow and ended with one.....thats gangsta Billy, youve got to agree thats gangsta

Im loving how Billy kept asking for snows death when he literally lives till the very end of the series
I love his setup behind him❤
17:40 “wasnt there a hunger game movie called the songbird?” why, yes. we are watching you react to it right now 😅 awesome video!
I knew Billy was gonna make at least two slim shady jokes. HA!
He looks just like him. Maybe they can cast him as Snow for the 2026 movie. The ages would be pretty close.
#Bingers: Mulan 2 and Brother Bear 2, Cruella and Cars, Kung Fu Panda and A Really Haunted House and Haunted Mansion and Monsters at Work and Party Central
I just noticed on the background a sebscreen plushie nice
You already know I’m here for the premiere even though I’m extra late cuz of work haha 😂

I been sayin he looks like slim shady and I haven’t heard anyone else say it lol THANK YOUUUU
You’re not alone!!
I know! He looks just like him and no others have mentioned it.
Now I got what about the children playing over n over in my head 😂
I liked the movie but the way I couldn't shut up about him looking like Eminem and tge way I was fed up with the singing 🤣

It’s called the BALLAD of SONGBIRDS, why wouldn’t there be singing?
@@ripleyjlawman.3162ok and they didn’t like it? They didn’t ask why it was in the movie
