I think most people don't like it because it's just an atrocious adaptation of the book. If there wasn't any other material to compare it to, I think a lot more people would enjoy it.😊
Everytime Billy called Four, Tibbitheus I lost it 🤣 I remember Shaileen Woodley from Secret Life of the American Teenager and she really did become an amazing actress.
Tris (the main female lead) actually gets tougher and more badass each movie in the series and the growth from her, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE so much!! 💪🏽 Side note: I LOVE how Billy is enjoying the deatheries in this one, it's funny lol I had a feeling he would love this movie!
no foreal she is such a badass. my favourite part of the first book was during the dauntless "initiation" process tris comments about how she's noticed that her body feels and looks stronger due to the training, and it's those things that really endeared me to her character development for sure.
The third movie is where it fell off for several reasons, all of them already mentioned in the comments. However, for anyone who has read the books, there was a fourth book that was just titled "Four". It's a collection of stories (3 pre-Divergent stories, 1 that runs parallel with the first book/movie, and 3 smaller stories/scenes) all told from Tobias' point of view. It was a good read.

I read the books and saw all the movies. I personally love them all. I have mixed feelings about them not finishing the series though as (like every other book to movie series) they planned to split the last book into 2 movies but the first part did so bad in the box office apparently that they never finished it

So the next plan was they was going to make it into a TV series but then the cast started to dropping out of the show so they never finished it.

A lot of people will say it’s bad, and, while it’s legitimate to dislike it, many reasons people give are *not.* Like you say, you knew Jeanine only wanted power from the beginning. Of course! That’s how people are, and how she’s always been. But so many say that like characters and this system make no sense because the leaders say one thing and do another. I complained about this in the Divergent video too lol, but viewers really are mistaking manipulation and propaganda for exposition! 🤦🏻♀️

The thing with the first 2 movies for me is that they really do just blur together like the events of the movies just blend and I forget what’s from what, and then the 3rd one I can’t remember any of it 😂

Great reaction! For this movie I really loved the additions of Octavia Spencer as Joanna, and Naomi Watts as Four's mother Evelyn. And I love how we got to see the Factions Candor, Amity, and get to see the Factionless this movie. Shailene Woodley(Tris) having to have short hair while filming the movie "The Fault in Our Stars" saved her from having to wear a wig for all but the first few minutes of the movie. The scenes with Tris in the Simulations I would've loved to have seen in the theater. Especially in 3D. #Bingers Overboard (1987) with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. There is 2018 version that is pretty much the same but the roles are inverted from the original version.
So the 1st two movies I liked cause they were close to the books and yes there are some things they left out but it doesn't bother me as much as the 3rd movie, Allegiant. And I wished they included Edward also cause that was Evelyn's right hand man. Tris actually cut her hair to her jaw, but Shailene had it that short cause she just finished another movie before this one. Joanna (Octavia Spencer) was once in the Dauntless faction. Four and Tris didn't get physical until towards the end of the Allegiant book and technically didn't do the deed, it was basically foreplay 😂.
If he enjoys the Divergent movie series, he may actually enjoy The Percy Jackson movies 🤔 I know I did (as someone that didn't read the books of course lol)
I've never seen these movies, but I also found myself pretty invested even with just the clips from your reactions. The main guy (who you call "pretty boy" haha) I know from the underworld series! Underworld: Awakening and Blood Wars. It's neat to see him in a more main role in the Divergent series. I would suggest Underworld to you, but even though there are a couple good movies in that series, I wouldnt rate the whole thing super well over all. And I think it's possible you would find it boring. Not as action packed as this one.

When I watched the reaction to Divergent my first thought was that you were way more interested in this movie than in the Harry Potter series. I really enjoy the first two movies but I’ve never seen the third. Mostly because I know the series was never finished.

So the 1st two movies I liked cause they were close to the books and yes there are some things they left out but it doesn't bother me as much as the 3rd movie, Allegiant. And I wished they included Edward also cause that was Evelyn's right hand man. Tris actually cut her hair to her jaw, but Shailene had it that short cause she just finished another movie before this one. Joanna (Octavia Spencer) was once in the Dauntless faction. Four and Tris didn't get physical until towards the end of the Allegiant book and technically didn't do the deed, it was basically foreplay 😂.
I like the Divergent Series, sad it wasn't completed.
Insurgent is my favorite movie of the series.
If he enjoys the Divergent movie series, he may actually enjoy The Percy Jackson movies 🤔 I know I did (as someone that didn't read the books of course lol)

I've never seen these movies, but I also found myself pretty invested even with just the clips from your reactions. The main guy (who you call "pretty boy" haha) I know from the underworld series! Underworld: Awakening and Blood Wars. It's neat to see him in a more main role in the Divergent series. I would suggest Underworld to you, but even though there are a couple good movies in that series, I wouldnt rate the whole thing super well over all. And I think it's possible you would find it boring. Not as action packed as this one.

Honestly in my opinion Billy the third movie doesn't really live up to the first my favorite, it's very out of place and it would be unnecessary to watch in my opinion but I'm looking forward to your reaction in this video was very entertaining thank you so much 👏🏽🎉❤

When I watched the reaction to Divergent my first thought was that you were way more interested in this movie than in the Harry Potter series.
I really enjoy the first two movies but I’ve never seen the third. Mostly because I know the series was never finished.
