Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! I'm not an expert, but as a passionate fan of piano music, I curated this list based on pieces that have resonated deeply with many listeners over the years. They have a timeless appeal and emotional depth that connect with a broad audience. This list is meant to celebrate the beauty of these well-loved compositions from a listener's perspective, rather than from a purely expert or academic viewpoint. I hope you enjoy the video 😊🙏
Thank you! ❤
Thank you ❤️. Glad you enjoyed the list 😊🙏
😅 thats explain
Please listen more piano music. 😮 Bach aria for goldberg variations is much more beautifull than this pseudo classical for tirsen and einaudi
Nice!
Thanks! 😊
All these 16 compositions are indeed very beautiful! But such lists always trigger a number of 'why' questions... I personally miss compositions by Bach, Clementi, Schubert and Schumann... I would also ask you to name the composer(s)/pianist(s) who arranged Vivaldi's Summer and Winter... Thanks.
Thank you! These lists always inspire many "why" questions, and I appreciate your suggestions to include Bach, Clementi, Schubert, and Schumann. This list is influenced by the most-viewed and most-liked videos on TH-cam, from channels like Rousseau, Vinheteiro, and others I watch frequently. Feel free to check out the views and likes to compare. This list is a blend of popular choices and some personal favorites. Music is so subjective, and I value everyone's unique preferences. Btw, if there are compositions you love, please let me know! I'd be grateful for your suggestions.
For Vivaldi's pieces, "Summer" and "Winter" from "The Four Seasons" have various piano arrangements, with notable ones by Mikhail Pletnev. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts😊🙏
Thats not most beautifull piano music, but most popular.
@Tizohip As a fan, I've seen many masterpieces that experts consider truly beautiful, but I might not enjoy them as much as these more familiar pieces. Music is highly subjective, and what moves one person might not have the same effect on another. I appreciate your perspective though!
Nice list!
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the list :)
You state that these are the top classical and contemporary piano pieces which have stood the test of time. I certainly don’t argue that you have a right to your own opinion, but as a pianist with a degree in music composition, in my opinion your choices are, for the most part, incredibly misplaced. Some are outright ludicrous while others, while by some noteworthy composers, are hardly among the most beautiful piano pieces the composer wrote.
Your first choice, by Yann Tiersen, which you call a contemporary favorite, can hardly be called a timeless masterpiece. It doesn’t even rate in the same category as real song writers like Gershwin and Cole Porter. The second, Nuvole Bianche is called a modern classic -- by who? Who would possibly call this piece a classic of any kind. The third, River Flows in You, which you say is known for it lyrical beauty and emotional depth, has neither. First of all, the lyrics have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the music. Second, it is musically closest to pop music. No outstanding melody and simple harmony - hardly a classic.
Finally with the fourth you actually get to a beautiful classic worthy of the name with Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, but I don’t know if I would call the third movement beautiful. Incredible - yes. A masterpiece -yes. But beautiful doesn’t do justice to its majesty.
You then throw in some big names, but the selections you choose? A Chopin nocturne? Fur Elise? Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in C# minor instead of the beautiful melodies in his piano concerti? Mozart’s Rondo a la Turk?
I could go on, but I’m done. Again, you have a right to your opinion. I just greatly disagree with your choices.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. While I understand that opinions on what constitutes the "most beautiful" piano pieces can vary greatly, my aim was to highlight compositions that are widely loved and appreciated by a broad audience. I also wanted to mention that this list was influenced by the most-viewed and most-liked piano music videos on TH-cam. It's a fan's perspective, and I believe there's a reason why these pieces are so popular. As a fan, I've seen many masterpieces that experts consider truly beautiful, but I might not enjoy them as much as these more familiar pieces.
Regarding Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, in fact, the third movement was the reason I became a fan of piano music. 😃
Music is highly subjective, and what moves one person might not have the same effect on another. I appreciate your expertise and insights, and I hope you can understand that this list was created from a place of passion and a desire to share music that has brought joy to many.
Thank you for engaging with the content and sharing your thoughts.
@@EpicCountdownsHub I appreciate and agree with your response. I am sorry if my response was too harsh. You do note some very popular pieces such as Flight of the Bumblebee and Fur Elise which are wonderful pieces. With your explanation, I feel more comfortable with your choices.
@RB-bj9ms Thank you so much for your understanding and for sharing your thoughts. I really appreciate your insight and am glad that my explanation helped clarify my choices. Music is such a subjective experience, and it's wonderful to have a community where we can share and discuss our different perspectives. Pieces like "Flight of the Bumblebee" and "Für Elise" are indeed popular and beloved by many, and it's great to see their appeal acknowledged.
Valid list
Thank you😊
Start with Yan Tiersen 😂 not serious list
honestly, Yann Tiersen's music from Amelie is one of my favorites😅 And judging by the views and likes it gets, I'm definitely not alone. It seems like a lot of fans agree that it's pretty special. I totally respect your opinion though 🙏
