Tip for aluminum. WD40 for dry saws. I ran a saw department for 2 years at a machine shop. Once I took over and taught the guys that blades last 3x longer.
Should i get this or the other band saw you have if it is my first. Money or space is not an issue. What is the benefit of this horizontal vs verticle bandsaw?
The Klutch is a great saw for steel and hard metals. Used mostly for cutting stock to length before machining or welding. The other saw is a band saw intended to wood or soft metals like aluminumn. For me, the Klutch is way more useful. If you are a wood worker, you may want the other one.
I gave up on bandsaws a while ago. I purchased a evolution 15" carbide Metal Cutting chop saw, wow impressed me enough to get rid on my band saws. www.evolutionpowertools.com/us/steel/evosaw380.php
I've looked at those and I'm sure they work well. I don't like the idea of throwing chips all over the place when I make a cut. I like how the band makes a nice little pile - easy to clean up.

Finally, you show something I don't have to run out and buy... because I already have this saw.
Nice! I really like this little saw. It makes nice, square cuts and it's small and easy to store on the shelf when I'm not using it.
Thanks, just order one from Norther Tool. They had a "sale" $20 off wow ... but better than nothing off. Hope I like it, looks pretty good.
Is the sound really so loud or because I my speaker too loud? Thanks for sharing.
Could you have walked away and let it cut under its own weight?
Curious about that myself
I have this bandsaw and it works quite well. However it does not have an "official" self cut feature.
No "self cutting" features on this little saw - have have to keep a hand on it.
Man I like that.
CNC4XR7 Yeah, it seems like a nice little saw for the money. Better than HF, in my opinion.
I find it should have a liquid cooling the blade... i want one but it must go through blades quickly without coolant
It is designed to be small and portable. You could easily add a coolant tray and some sort of pump and nozzle.
How much is it?

This also can be converted to vertical also correct? And have you tried it that way yet.
The Klutch didn't come with anything to convert it to vertical (the HF floor model did).
is it available in India??
I'm not sure. You'd have to check their website.
Sounds like a vacuum cleaner
