Your video does the best job of explaining how to find the no-parallax point I have seen. Very good demo and easy to understand. Thanks.

good video! thanks for not stretching it to 20minutes and also for mentioning that a longer distance between the aims gets more accurate results.

hi sir... if i add one of RRS lightweight panorama kit to your above set up, do i have to find the nodal points again ? Thanks!

this is new to me, and since the gear prices are relatively high, my question would be; can i get good panoramas using the rail without the round panning clamp?

Helpful. Thank you. If you have a collared lens, what set up do you need?

Kent McPherson that is why I think Kirk Enterprise makes superior slide. Their mounting clamp can be rotated 90 degrees

    Hi. Nice video.
Besides the nodal slide what's the name of the assembly that you loaded your nodal slide on. Is it just your tripod stand with all those readings on it?
Secondly can a Nadir shot be taken.?

Michael Carvalho he put it on their panoramic clamp. Has all the numbers on it. It’s a great clamp... like most of their stuff. If you’re shopping still, I’d look at Kirk Enterprise. I think they have a superior slide. Everything else is equal. Also, if you get RRS quick release lever... make sure to buy their L bracket. I know of some failures with other brands. If you buy the clamp with knob, it doesn’t seem to make a difference

The time it takes to set this up is less than the time it takes to make a note and record of the settings/camera, lens combination for later referral.

Do you have a video on how to do with a 70-200 lens?

after you found the no parallax point - if you were to move the tripod back say 10 feet - would you have to re-adjust?

Great question! As long as you don't change the focal length, the no parallax point will remain the same.
