You seem to have a natural talent for it. As you are saying, it helps when you have a good understanding of who you are and where you come from. all the brands i run, i never put my face out there. i dont even promote the brands i own and run on youtube for that very reason. if you dont want your face out there, dont show it. easy as that. but you can still post without showing your face. also engaging with customers is over comments. your face isnt shown either.
Should you separate your brand and just t shirts you make for everyone, like a funny shirt? Should I have two separate Instagram accounts and separate shopify accounts?
i think so. i would keep them separate. you wait hate to cause confusion with your customers. have a custom shirt page or a "print shop" page and then if you run a brand, keep everything brand related on that page.
