In this video we’ll be going over how to market and promote your business locally. No matter the size of your business, even if you own a small business or you need to increase your presence locally, there are ways to market your services and get more people interested at what you offer!
A few things that will help you understand how to market locally are:
- Understanding Human Nature, learn what your audience needs to see from you.
- Put up a Local Sign so that people know exactly where your business is located and what it is about.
- Produce original content designed with your local audience in mind.
- Understand the difference between Organic Traffic and Paid Traffic
- Understand how your marketing funnel works
- Build strong and respectful relationships with people in your area so that you will be able to sponsor events and tighten the bond with your community
Keep these tips and strategies in mind when marketing your Local or Small Business so that you can grow your business and who knows, maybe one day you will not be targeting your local market.

Great tips! I know when I was first starting out the funnel stuff confused me. Now I spend all my days building relationships (which I love!) while my online marketing is either outsourced, on autopilot or systematized.
Awesome! Love this view on things. Building relationships is something that YOU have to do (or your sales reps). It's much more human than mass marketing.

You are for real, I agree and that make sense . its not always advertise, money, or ask around to promote your business on your behalf its how you deal and show the best you has something to do to develop relationship without sounds like asking a favor from anyone , with the trust and quality it will spread out unknowingly also understanding your surroundings and knowledgeable about what you are doing so you also will look quiet professional Infront of your clients or costumer. How do you feel about Yelp as a marketing tool?
Get positive reviews, but I wouldn't pay Yelp for your listing. There are a lot of horror stories about them removing positive reviews if you ever cancel your monthly payment to them
Why am I just seeing this now. I can’t even tell you how much money I’ve spent on courses that I learned nothing (not that they got to keep my money anyway but what a waist of time) that was being advertised to learn. Every last course was a the same marketing tactic. Get you in by saying they have made millions and they are doing course because they want others to become something. You listen to an hour or two of that crap that sounds so great then at the end you get hit with a number that you have to pay to get trained a bit more and then a lot more money to learn a bit more and when you get to the third round of them asking for basically your life savings it made it easy for me to stop and realize I hadn’t learned crap. I’m so happy my first course I ever took was a money back guaranteed and yes I took it and made sure any others I tried offered the same and yep I took all of them up on it. Maybe if I would have learned what I did in this video I would have let them keep the first payment. Thanks for good information. Sorry for writing a mini bio and not a comment
