Hi mate I love the series! I’m 13 and I live in Australia and I have a 1982 rm125 that I have been restoring and ur vids are really helping to motivate me. The only problem is that’s it’s almost impossible to find parts in Australia without people charging too much.

You are absolutely right! Wow 13 and you are restoring an 82? That’s amazing 🤩 You’ve got a real classic so take your time!

It’s so wonderful to see you repairing the parts that you can on this bike, so many restorations on TH-cam are just new parts being installed. Cheers

The first start after an engine rebuild never gets boring it’s a great feeling! You did a good job on that exhaust and the rest ✊🏻💨

What a fantastic sound. It’s exhilarating hearing that engine start again, well done!

Hello loving this series. I used to own and race one back in the day. Well I say raced just wobbled around at the back of the pack in the b group lol. Great memories. Love that you have tried to reuse everything that you can it’s going to look great when it’s finished. Great job.

My thoughts exactly, after all its having its life retained by showing patina and its still usable. Maybe some classic racing?

Minor tip - don't sand your copper washers - cook them! In aviation, we'd take all the washers off our plugs during maintenance. Hang them on some stainless wire, then heat them up to red (just before they melt!) and allow to cool. Softens them right up. I've got a '78 TS that I bought new I've been restoring.

That is a great tip! I completely forgot I could anneal the copper. Just as well as it’s leaking! Thank you

    Beautiful work! 25 to 1 is leaner than 20 to 1 👍🏻

I raced against these in ‘82 on my ‘78 RM250. They would smoke me big time !

Hi there. It’s on hold until I get these Mx bikes out of my system. I have to be completely immersed to do this. That said not much left but there is a twist to the story..all will be revealed! Thank you 🙏

So, how much coolant do I mix in for a good cup of coffee?
