No, a very small minority of 14Tr came second hand from Czech cities, because mechanics there knew how to maintain vehicles from start. Although in Riga Škodas were in much better condition, no city expressed interest in buying them (except Kharkiv) and all were subsequently scrapped.
@ don’t know where this information is coming from but in Kaunas, there was definitely troley buses from Riga that I will for sure. There was a large number of old Riga trams which were scrapped due to the lack of interest.
@@lifter479 There were around 10 14Tr from Tallinn, which were bought in 2001. Vilnius bought vehicles of 9Tr model from Tallinn in 1995. Both ex-Tallinn 14Tr in Kaunas and 9Tr in Vilnius are scrapped. Interestingly, Riga bought 3 secondhand Škoda 14Tr01 themselves from Teplice in 1994.
Very cool video!
Käisid seal? Kas 2024 saab veel seal vanade trollidega sõita?
Majority of those old Skodas was purchased from Riga, because municipality of Riga calculated that it is not worth to invest into those old things.
