    Is sona masuri and samba masuri same?

    • @pwipindia
      @pwipindia  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, Sona Masuri and Samba Masuri are two different varieties of rice. Sona Masuri is a medium-grain rice that is popular in South India, while Samba Masuri is a short-grain rice that is commonly grown in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Both varieties have their own unique characteristics in terms of taste, texture, and aroma.

    It’s a wonder ful value addition.
    I want to ask following questions
    What should be ideal broken %age of rice for exports
    2. What should be the ideal grain length I’d Basmati for exports
    3. How will be know at what moisture level rice is milled

    • @pwipindia
      @pwipindia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      sure, 5-10% broken percentage is considered acceptable for most types of rice for exports.
      A grain length of 6.9-7.6 mm is considered ideal for Basmati rice exports.
      The moisture level at which rice is milled can be determined by measuring the moisture content of the paddy before milling.
