    Your passion for the game is making me want to add it to my Victorum pledge when the pledge manager opens. Great video, thanks.

    I feel the Endless mode for SOLO is the best way to play the Cloudspire. Such a great game thanks for the review

      Vinyl Rabbit thank you, I’ve still not had time to try Endless Mode but I’m looking forward to it.

      how does it work? do you need to keep the game set up on a table? or how long is it going to take? :)

    As the new Gamefound campaign is currently running and i am on the fence. Are you still playing the game? Did your opinion change?

      Still one of my favourite games. Played it a few weeks ago.

    are these the normal health chips? which cosmetic upgrades do you suggest for cloudspire? I'm torn between a gameplay-allin and a full allin in the new kickstarter.. :) the playmat looks nice but I got a generic (space themed) one. I love the upgraded health chips and dice tray the most. could do without the minis (because I probably will never paint them), the playmat or the two hard-cover books.. hmmmm, decisions..

      Wicked the health chips are from Too Many Bones. The mat is excellent and perfect for the game. I’ve since bought the miniatures and they add a lot of flavour to the gameplay.

      @@NotBoredGaming thanks I knew you wouldn't make my decision any easier! :) 205$ more for cosmetic upgrades (playmat, minis, dice tray, health chips, 2 hard covers) is still a lot, however.. got to think about it.. and think quick because the KS isn't going on forever.. ^^ sadly got no time to watch you and paul playing through cloudspire, I just watched a few minutes of it..

    Which do you prefer Cloudspire or Too Many Bones?

    • @NotBoredGaming
      @NotBoredGaming  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Karim Theilgaard both completely different games. I love them both so I’d say - own them both 😂

      Not Bored Gaming Ended up backing The Hunters 2114 AD reprint currently on KS instead of Cloudspire. Are you backing it?

    • @NotBoredGaming
      @NotBoredGaming  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Karim Theilgaard I’m not, no. I have lots of KS I’m backing at the moment and whilst Hunters looks good - the feedback in the 1st edition just didn’t quite sway me enough to back the 2nd edition.

    Thanks for making this. I've been researching this game as a potential solo game - do you still get it to the table? How much play have you gotten out of it? I'm kind of on the fence on whether the replayability is there given the same setup for each scenario (albeit with slight randomness in relic cards, units you choose, upgrades, etc). Would be interested to hear your thoughts after a little over 2 years since you made this!

      Hi Jay - yes, I absolutely still get this to the table. It’s a time sink but I must have put maybe 60 hours into it so far and still only scratched the surface. I backed all the expansion stuff which was delivered earlier this year and I haven’t managed to get that to the table yet as I’m still having a lot of fun with the base game. It’s rules heavy, takes up a lot of space and monopolised your time but I love it still for all those reasons and not despite them. 👍

      @@NotBoredGaming Thanks, sounds similar to what Mage Knight has been for me! Will have to do some more research given the high cost..

    I am trying to decide between this and On Mars as my next retail purchase. Any thoughts?

    • @NotBoredGaming
      @NotBoredGaming  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      listentosilverfish vastly different games. I will say that, at the moment - the solo in On Mars isn’t quite there whereas the solo in Cloudspire is outstanding. So, depending on which game type you want Cloudspire is probably the better choice.
