Jonathon will appreciate the no shoe rule when you two have a baby crawling around on the floor Fun Fact: in most countries outside of The USA most ppl remove shoes before entering the house
No outside shoes in my home...we have house shoes. But if I have a lot of people over,I let them come in with shoes and clean the floor after they leave.
Omg y’all compliment each other so well and y’all’s facial features blend so well together. Your children will be beautiful! They say you and your spouse start to look a like and you and Jonathan have very similar eyes ❤️

I am just so encouraged by seeing two young people (you both are around my age lol) have fun and enjoy marriage in God! Thank you both for sharing this! Loved seeing you two beam with the light of laughter! Continued blessings for your future and marriage!🙏🏾
The way y’all both raised y’all voices when talking about washing the dishes 😂😂😂 that’s my favorite part of the video cause both you meant every word. Definitely looking forward to seeing y’all together on camera more and I’m happy to see y’all happy.

You two sound sound like some seasoned married folks! I think that comes from your dating relationship. I love it! I believe God will use you two to reach so many young individuals and couples in dating and marriage. The very advice you both shared is so important pre marriage. May your love for one another continue to grow and and keep you both even in the most difficult.

Congratulations! I just ran up on Jess’ videos because I have not relaxed my hair in over 7 years. I just wash, condition and let my hair dry naturally! I also use the Rev Air but am so ready for the natural curl process and find your videos so informative. I haven’t done it yet but am working towards it. I really enjoyed watching your engagement video too! God Bless your union and PLEASE KEEP making your videos because I am a 64 year old woman who has very long hair that has thinned as I age. I am still trying to figure out my hair type. It is very wavy especially at the roots. I love how you make me feel like your speaking directly at me and how you are truthful about whether you like or dislike a product! Keep up the great work! I love them! Thanks!
I absolutely agree with you Jess about nothing you do is noticed until it needs to done……sis I’ve been married 23 years by Gods grace only and get use to it…..not gonna change 😂😂😂I love watching you two such a beautiful marriage couple

First off, marriage looks GOODT on both of you! Ya’ll are literally glowing and have the most amazing smiles! Secondly, I am so happy for you! I pray for continued happiness in your marriage!
I'm 48 and I've had the same "argument" with my husband about outside shoes in the house. My mind goes to the same place..you probably stepped in a spit, pissy bathroom juice, muddy water and everything else, then walk on the carpet where it will literally clean the bottom of your shoe...and here I am walking barefoot ....NO NO NO!! lol
Hey Jess, I remember watching your hair tutorial videos yearsss ago and a few weeks ago I saw your channel pop up and now you’re married 🥺🥺congrats and I love your vibe 🎉🎉🙏🏽🙏🏽

First of all, you both had a great foundation to build upon. You both are highly spiritual as well as equally yoked. Put God first and you will go the distance.
Great video. My husband and I had to come up with saying, "I don't want to talk about it right now." When we say that, we know something's wrong, and we're given time to get over it or calm down." I'm a cry baby and I wanted to sing to my husband at the reception. I sang a song by my husband's favorite artist and BALLED through the song, but I knew I'd regret it if I didn't.
Jess I'm with you on the rug/carpet situation! I feel that way about me n hubbys bedroom rug! And I also feel that way about sitting on our bed with clothes you've had on all day! You go to work and sit in whatever chairs you sit in there, then you're outside getting whatever debris or dirt or whatever in your clothes and you bring that back home and put it on your bed. You take a bath and lay in that SAME dirt or whatever, I don't want it 🙅🙅🙅 that's a pet peeve now!
You both had me smiling, laughing & shaking my head in agreement the entire video. You touched on some great points especially how you relationship was pre-marriage.
What was really nasty, was when my husband use my tooth brush, when I tell you I was mad, I was like don't do that again, my twin sister told me that her husband did the same thing, we got married at the same time, on the same day!
Wonderful to see you both enjoying your marriage . No rush for children for the first year, enjoy settling in to married life, babies add to the dynamics that we be there for life. You never stop being a parent, enjoy being a wife. It's a blessed time. Congratulations again.

Congratulations you guys! I’m slightly tardy to the party. Been 4 months +. I love the relationship you all have and now you have the rest of your lives to grow together- fun and such a blessing! You guys did it how it was designed to be done-respect! No shoes in the house over here either. 👍🏾🎉🥂
Yes ! Same with my household. Outside shoes is for outside and inside shoes inside. I don't follow it sometimes if I have to run outside to grab something in a rush but for the most part yes. 😅😅
You guys are simply beautiful 😍 I heat to say what I know you've heard over a million times but it's so pleasing to see a young all black coulpe and not mixed , I know how I must sound but I truly love everyone. Congratulations on your one month, I got married on June 5th 2022💕
I had a baby after a year. But I think only my opinion. You must enjoy your time together before the baby. Because trust you will wish you had. Kids are that extra special addiction. But the time with just to two of you is the greatest of all times.
@@OnlyOneJess No in my opinion a child from a loving relationship could never be bad. It’s the loving times between you and your spouse is now divided. Like that time in the morning when you use to laid in his arms on the weekends and a whole lot of other times. Babies are great and that time can also be shared with a child. But spread it out. You have to spend time together first. Learning each other. You guys are definitely on the right path. But build that same foundation that you did for your relationship for that child.
When times get hard, because it will I want the two of you to sit down with a open heart and watch this video over and over and remember how you felt at this moment. I wish my now ex husband and I would have done that
OMGOODNESS! No shoes allowed. FOR the exact reasons you stated. My hubby totally understands and abides. Shout out to the cutest couple on TH-cam❣️❣️❣️❣️
Yes to the comment about the shoes. My husband used to think I was crazy. I make him sanitize his slippers if he steps a foot out in them 😆😆. Also, my husband and I waited to be intimate and he too mentioned that he was nervous but there is a special blessing for those that choose to wait.
Jess is right about the shoes thing though, it is not OCD but the bible periodt. but I'm glad you guys have come to compromise that works for you. Rooting for you guys forever and always.
I watched it all now and you both gave some good insightful information about married life even in this early stage. I think it is cool about the cooking and cleaning, it's what works for your marriage relationship. 😊
Awww I loved this! I havent watched your videos in like a year and idk why but im playing catch up rn haha. You always make me smile in your videos! Im glad things seem to be going well in the early stages and i hope things continue to go well for y'all! I just love the vibes lol
Hi there, I’m a silent fan but this video made me come out of hiding and say you guys are so great. I have been married to my husband for 12 years now and you guys are off to a BLESSED start. Most younger and older couples have not done the prep work and take it for granted or don’t think it’s necessary before hand; but because of your obedience Gods word doesn’t come back void and obedience is better then sacrifice and you and your household will be blessed. Sorry didn’t mean to get all preachy but you all truly make me smile. Of course you will have ups and downs because the devil is just a hater and that’s all he can do is hate. As long as you both put God first and stand even when you’ve done all to stand, continue to just stand I promise God is standing right there with you and He got you. Ok let me stop before I get super extra. I’m going to go back into the silence and continue to cheer you guys on. Love you 😘 😁❤️…I know I’m not related but I feel like a proud big sister, any who I digress. 🤦🏾♀️🤣❤️
Y'all are funny 😂😂 y'all had me cracking up about the cleaning part! Me n my hubby been married 5 years in December n for some reason we be cracking other people up also but we be dead serious lol. Sometimes you just gotta laugh at things and yourselves. We've had a few arguments that turned into us just laughing about whatever we just argued about! It's a constant learning and forgiving process. I love being married!
Loved this Q&A Jess and Jonathan! ❤️🙌🏾 Yes, communication is the key and listening to your partner as well. With listening, always remember not to talk over each other. I’ve been married going on 19 years this month and I’ve been guilty of this, lol. I agree with Jess, no outside shoes in the house. I also don’t like outside clothes on the bed either. 🤷🏽♀️ I love how y’all laugh at the same thing, that’s soo cute. 🥰
Your gonna have disagreements every now and then but it's alright just don't never go to bed angry. Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone so sit down talk your issue's out without yelling, get and understanding and move on to the next day. Love is love 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Don't Rush, Jess waited until she completed college and found the right man for her. Take your time and enjoy your early 20s , learn about yourself
Congratulations you guys! I’m slightly tardy to the party. Been 4 months +. I love the relationship you all have and now you have the rest of your lives to grow together- fun and such a blessing! You guys did it how it was designed to be done-respect! No shoes in the house over here either. 👍🏾🎉🥂
I screamed at 6:20, I love the two of you, continue to grow in love day by day. God bless
lol thank you so much!!
But the time with just to two of you is the greatest of all times.
in you honest opinion do things get worse after a baby? im hearing mixed reviews..
@@buttafly591 ah okay I got you, thank you 🥰
When times get hard, because it will I want the two of you to sit down with a open heart and watch this video over and over and remember how you felt at this moment. I wish my now ex husband and I would have done that
Y’all are so cute!! Continued blessings on your union!!
thank you!!
I can’t wait when you guys do this video 20 years from now. Giving marriage advices not only dating 🌺💝
OMGOODNESS! No shoes allowed.
FOR the exact reasons you stated.
My hubby totally understands and
abides.
Shout out to the cutest couple on TH-cam❣️❣️❣️❣️
I'm so happy with the advice you gave. You two compliment each other so well.
I'm the same about outside shoes. It also makes you floors dirtier and faster. If you walk around barefoot your feet get really dirty...
Waiting is definitely awesome and it’s what God wants us to do!! God knows BEST!!
So thrilled for you both! Keep that energy. When you get pissed off, refer back to this video! Love you bunches
Lol no I truly appreciate this comment! Thank you so so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
I have so many comments towards this video that i cannot even mention them all. In summary LOVED IT, congratulations you guys
You guys are sooo cute! I'm old enough to be your parents at least 🤔😊 & I just love your level of maturity. Continued blessings 💖✨
I don't usually like Q&A but you guys are something else. I always enjoy your videos.
My husband knew if the small things made me happy, then he knew I would keep him happy 💕
Totally agree with the beard hair, my husband's hair is everywhere. ugh just wash it before I look over there.
