- This is one of the best and easy way to sew a accordion wallet for beginners or for everyone. This video is a bit longer than others because I want to show each step how to fold and sew so you won't confuse.. If for some reasons you're not catching the video tutorial, please go to setting and set the video in slow motion. Most of my videos I show the measurements right on the screen to make it easier for you to know which fabric I'm using and what sizes.

Looks tricky, but if you take your time and follow your steps it really is easy. This would be good for sorting receipts and keep them out of your regular wallet or loose in your handbag. That’s what I need it for! 💕

Hi Vivian, Love this wallet with all the compartments in it. Fabric lovely. We are at the horse box again it is bank holiday. My daughter and son-in-law came yesterday with the grandchildren we went to the seaside it is about 13 mile from our horse box they had a great day fish and chips there. What a cute wallet!
Just found your channel, love it. I would like to make a suggestion, when applying the interfacing, press, rather than iron. I noticed some of the interfacing did not adhere very well. I press and use a dobber, it helps it to fuse very well. I am going to attempt to make the wallet tomorrow. I’m excited to try. I’m 87 yrs so it will probably take me a little longer than most of your fans. Very happy I found your site. Thank you, you are a very good teacher.

Love this pattern. As I watch how you make it, I'm thinking something like this : how can I sew it together where I can maybe utilize the interior pockets which are created ? And, when you sew the exterior part to the interior, would it work out if you sewed along the outside edges instead of the top and bottom edges, on either side? That way, if it works out, you can have two additional pockets in the wallet. 😍👍😻 Such a pretty wallet, though. ❣

I do have a question, you said you were not using interfacing. Did you just choice not to show it using interfacing or due to so many pockets interfacing is not required? I want to make it and just wondering if I should or should not use the interfacing? Thank you for sharing your projects with us. God Bless.
Brenda, thank you so much for your kindness feedback. This wallet I personally choose not to add the interfacing but it’s optional if you want to use interfacing you could. Always cut the interfacing 1/4” smaller than the fabric size and that 1/4” will be your seam allowance
