Your nice is going to love it. I love it. I want to do one myself to take on road trips. I would probably just adjust the length of the strap so I can wear it cross body. I always carry small purses when I’m traveling.
On another note, please ignore unkind people that question the fabric or buttons you use. Some people seem to be born negative or they were unloved as a child and it has shown up in adulthood. These are ignorant people who obviously don’t understand you are teaching a technique not making a custom item for them, so why do they care. If they make the item, then they can use whatever they like. As a side note, I like your choices in fabric. I would like to end by saying to the negative people, “I’m sure there’s a prescription for what’s wrong with them.”

@@TheTwinsDay Made another one this morning for my 7 year old great grandson. Instead of the shoulder strap I made it so he could wear it around his waist. For that I used strapping and a buckle so he can adjust the size to what's comfortable for him. Sewed it on at the top (right and left side edges) just where the flap crease is. Easy to do and worked out great. Now all I have to do is fill it up with a few fun things just to surprise him and his sister!

Love the purse. Make me nervous when you use the seam ripper to cut open the slits for the button. Have you ever pushed to hard and ripped a slit to big?
