I have checked, actually last part is from other soundtrack... Sorry, thought to put it there because it sound very similiar, and it's very hard to know which part is from when there's no proper file naming
These screeching chords.. they remind me of the music that plays when Six first gets out of the Maw, and the Guests are walking aboard. I wonder if we would’ve seen more of where Six ended up after she betrayed Mono...
Fun fact: There was a cut easter egg where if you use a tv it will teleport you to one of the room in The Maw but it was cut. So I think this track was supposed to play when you did it. but sadly it was cut.
my best guess is that since this music is similar to when we first see the outside of the maw from the first game, we would see the outside of the maw again, i'm guessing that the original secret ending showed six getting captured and taken to the maw and this is the music we hear as she is rowed towards it, further suggesting the game is a prequel. the ending however, was changed to also explain how six got her hunger.
This sounds, this unused tracks and songs really make LN2 into a sequel at first. SO MANY nostalgia to the Maw and so many mysterious melodies we have here, these early ideas had in mind to make the game a sequel, but it was changed to a prequel
This sounds like if six and mono went to the maw but something happened where mono died or at least got separated and six sadly had to leave him behind and continue on without him :(... in a way I guess I’m kinda glad they didn’t go that route like at least he’s still alive in the final game?
It's very close to this soundtrack from the first game, it might be for the planned chapter of the Maw being returned to th-cam.com/video/vLela_n5SM0/w-d-xo.html

Sounds like if Six pulled Mono up and they had a happy ending

Actually Mono was meant to teleport to the Maw before everything went to shit.

The motive that you mentioned being used in the old main menu theme ia also partially used in LN1 when you go outside of the maw for a brief moment.
That’s part of the maw themed menu
It does not sound like it it sounds like true colors
it sounds pretty soothing ngl
