Are people not allowed to have their own opinions about the game? If people arent vibing with it they are allowed to, they arent haters. So with that being said, Im not a fan 😂. Ln1 and 2 had this chilling suspense a great storyline and the overall color pallet and design of the games was so different from any game ive seen. This LN3 game even before i heard taiser wasnt apart of the making I could tell that it was different and lacking something, A.K.A Taiser. The artistry isnt the same as Taisers, and it isnt chilling, the horror factor isnt there, I will still purchase the game, because I know the people who made this did their best to emulate little nightmares without the original creators, so i applaud them because they could have not made one, but as a fan im glad they took us into consideration to continue on. Also Reanimal looks freaking insane, the trailer gave me absolute chills! Buying both honestly
I think you're missing the reason people are calling others hater, it's because this game has had very little gameplay shown off and the claims for not liking this are just dumb. It doesnt necessarily look bad but it almost looks fan made. Im still trying to keep an open mind and ill check it out but so far I dont think it holds up to the other games.
@@swag7185 But you didn't explain what makes it "different" from previous games. All you mentioned was that it "feels" different, which is a skewed perspective because of the studio change. Low (the kid with the plague doc mask) is literally wearing normal clothes and a mask. How is that different from Mono... You could make the argument for Alone, though, so I won't push on that point. Again, you mention the baby "feeling" cliche. You didn't mention how it is cliche in your eyes, which goes to my 1st point. Don't forget that the baby was a scrapped idea from Tarsier Studios themselves, and some developers working in this have worked on the last 2 LN games.
@@malekat8539 they probably scrapped the baby because it was cliche lol. However in that art it looked more living rather than baby doll. The doll part feels cliche, I've seen it a bazillion times and it's a trope I don't expect to see in a game that is usually so fresh. Lows design only really bothers me because of his mask. Its too clean and looks manufactured, where did that mask possibly come from, it doesn't make sense unlike monos paper bag mask where he could've just made it himself, lows mask looks almost of ceramic or porcelain. I also see bird masks constantly in the media with plague doctor masks and whatnot. I could cut it more slack if the mask looked like it was made out of something like paper mache or out of materials low could have used to create it. Or if he wore something like a bird skull, the size of the animals in this universe compared to the characters could warrant him being able to fashion a skull as a mask. My point being it just doesn't feel believable. When you have a game that relies on visuals and has a striking lack of story telling it is quintessential your main character's fashion can be justified. in fact I actually like alone's outfit more, yes it's flashy but could be argued she just found or owned the clothing before entering the nowhere. Now looking at low again even saying if he owned the mask before entering the nowhere how could he have gotten his hands on this ceramic esk stylized bird mask? And if he found it in the nowhere then how could he has probably got his hands on it there? That's honestly what really bothers me.
@@lucky4d725 too complex as in there is too much going on makes them look noisy compared to the original characters. Also too clean as in their outfits look too clean. If they have lived in this world for a long time they would be dirty.
It feels like a production that doesn’t take what the first and second games did a step further. For those who don’t know, the rights to the Little Nightmares brand belonged to Namco, but they took these rights from the original creators, Tarsier, and gave them to Supermassive Games. However, the result is beyond bad, a quality that doesn’t even come close to Reanimal. The first and second games had familiar mechanics like breaking floors by jumping and carrying fuse boxes. What’s truly frustrating here are the actions that lack any real cause-and-effect logic, like pressing a button for no reason, pulling a lever, or breaking a chain. The reason the LN series was loved is that it presented its puzzles in a more organic way. It wasn’t just about pulling a lever; the player had to think about why the lever needed to be pulled. Moreover, the timing, the method, and even how you got to that lever all mattered. This game is not a real LN3-the real one is Reanimal.
THATS WHAT I SAID!!! REANIMAL in comparison blows this out of the water. The darkness and dread in REANIMAL feels like a full grown nightmare. I don't think Bandai knows just how strong the following for this series is, but they will see soon enough when they compare LN3 sales to REANIMAL.
Bandi Namco did not take the rights of the Little Nightmares IP from Tarsier Studios, not sure where you got that impression. Bandi Namco always had the rights to Little Nightmares since the development of the first game. Tarsier Studios did get bought by Embracer Group during the production of the second game, which may or may not have effected them leaving the IP. We do know that Tarsier wanted to step down from making Little Nightmares and do other stuff, so they are now making Reanimal with THQ Nordic. Since people have been begging for a third game, Bandi Namco decided to let Supermassive Games develop it. The studio has had some previous experience with the franchise, some key members of the third game have previously worked on the first two games. Say what you want about Little Nightmares 3 and Reanimal, but people shouldn't just assume that Bandi Namco is evil and stole Little Nightmares from Tarsier, or that Tarsier Studios was forced to make Little Nightmares and couldn't make the game they actually wanted to make.
@@cookies_and_mustard6414 it's been documented that Tarseir wanted to make LN1 a game called Hunger and changed the name because Bandai didn't believe it would sell. They also wanted to make the game a lot darker than what they were allowed to do. When 6 would get caught, she was supposed to have her limbs torn apart but that was srapped for being too graphic. Regardless of who got bought out, there were clearly creative differences that were also going on behind the scenes. I am glad we finally get to see their creative vision. This is no shade to LN3 but the REANIMAL demo and trailer literally gave me goosebumps and I can't wait to play it. As a fan I will definitely play LN3. I love the world that was created and hope to understand more about the world and it's lore and I hope we can find out what happens with 6 or juicy details. My daughter loves the franchise and we will play that game together. But again REANIMAL looks like something special. I can't wait to dive into both!
Despite the fact that the characters look fan-made OCs the game looks pretty good. I’m gonna give the new people in charge the benefit of the doubt for now
There's something missing from this. Like it looks like Little Nightmares. But it doesn't 'feel' like Little Nightmares. It's almost as if its soul is missing. And then when I see something like Reanimal I think 'that's Little Nightmares!'. I wonder if the creators being absent from this game is the cause? I know that didn't taint my perspective because I only just learned that today... and I've thought there was something lacking in LN3 since I saw the first gameplay video.
Sequels can't do the exact same thing over and over again. Even re-animal doesn't really look like LN tbh. Very different style. More "Clive Barker" than LN. And that's a good thing. If it did look like LN it would be way less interesting imo.
I'd like to point out that people are allowed to dislike it and criticize as much as you others are allowed to like it and point out what's good about it. You dont know that the people pointing out its flaws entirely hate it or dont want to play. Its understandable that some people are disappointed. LN and LN2 were PHENOMENAL games that had you teetering on the edge of your seat and invested in its characters. We can only hope this game can live up to the legacy of the first two. To be honest, when i watch the trailers i only see a souless cashgrab with no real connection to the first 2 games. BUT I still want to give it a try. I would LOVE to be proven wrong and blown away.
Huh. Interesting. My gut feeling says that the candy factory is where the Maw's guests come from. And I wouldn't be surprised either if our 2 protags are 2 of the children of the Maw.
as someone who's admittely a very casual LN fan, i don't understand what the controversy is. it looks just like the first two games. so does reanimal. in my eyes people are just getting two LN games in a short period of time.
It was for the best that they delay their release Just look at what happened to zoochrocosis Aslo In LN2 there was a feeling of megalophobia in pale city I hope to see that in LN3 too

I still feel like the dry and dusty environment of the Necropolis, with the brighter colors, feels out of place with the dark and dank and wet environments of the first two. The Candy Factory looked like it fit right in though, as do the distorted human characters there. I'll have to see how the lore fits in with the earlier games, but I am hopeful we'll get another worthy entry.

Why people hating on this? It just like Fortnite players complaining about old maps and new updates ever since announcement. Just grow up and accept this game, it ain’t finished either so there’s that.
100%
i feel exactly how you feel.
I think you're missing the reason people are calling others hater, it's because this game has had very little gameplay shown off and the claims for not liking this are just dumb. And seem more like not liking supermassive making the game, despite the fact supermassive has helped taiser with LN before.
It's okay if you don't like the atmosphere but also the game hasn't even come out yet.
And has a completely different setting from the other two.
For the people saying "its bad because its orange". Just a reminder that VLN was yellow at the end. YELLOW. A BRIGHT color. And it still matched the tone and creepyness of LITTLE NIGHTMARES. Resident evil was scary because it had a desert and was yellowish, people loved that game. But not LNM 3 because it was a bright orange!? Smh you people just wanna hate for no reason
The problem with RE was the piss filter they had for the desert

I swear, this game BETTER NOT HAVE ANY BETRAYALS IN IT. Low and Alone seems like a good duo, but now I’m doubting it because of what happened to Mono and Six😢
That giant doll baby reminds me of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in the 2009 Ghostbusters videogame.
Loved this series right from the beginning and been in awe ever since! Hopefully this isn’t the last one! 🥺
People who say this doesn’t feel like Little Nightmares are just upset it’s not the OG devs making it. This perfectly encapsulates the vibes and feeling of Little Nightmares
I am so excited for to see Little Nightmares 3!
3:19 A reference to a Thin Man?..
Not really it’s just the candy factory . Can see why but it’s no reference. It may be long and narrow but still dont see how it resembles the streets when fighting the thin man.. it’s like a whole new location . Reference would be like a picture of him .. his hat or something that he actually “used”
@@unknownastroid_2240 I realized, just in the background, a man was staring intently at the TV and I thought it was a reference
@@okekkebab well cause this is after little nightmare 2 so the events and everything that happened have now carried over.. The Tv screens will be playing a roll from here on now. There used as teleportation and to control the people or who’s ever left. That’s why the game was so currupted LN2 Cause the Thin man “mono” had control over everything.
@unknownastroid_2240
Then why did you tell the other guy no? Yes absolutely the TV is a reference to thin man.
Im a massive fan of the little nightmares series and im not trying to hate or anything but at least in my opinion it is very obvious that this game id made by another company. It doesnt necessarily look bad but it almost looks fan made. I dont mind the change of atmosphere i actually think it looks really cool but i think the main character designs are too complex and clean and that big baby feels cliche and honestly kinda out of place. Im still trying to keep an open mind and ill check it out but so far I dont think it holds up to the other games.
@@swag7185
But you didn't explain what makes it "different" from previous games.

"i think the main character designs are too complex and clean" that doesnt even make semse.

@tayfunbayrakci822 we don't deserve a third game because of people like you. this is literally demo. demos aren't always good, bud.

Well, that's great, we'll have two versions of Little Nightmares) Let's feel both and compare them)

it looks different because it doesnt have the same blue hue
Sequels can't do the exact same thing over and over again.
Even re-animal doesn't really look like LN tbh. Very different style. More "Clive Barker" than LN. And that's a good thing. If it did look like LN it would be way less interesting imo.
LM3 and Reanimal ??? Niiiiiice double prize
I love how both their designs look so different from eo's yet so related. A hazmat suit and a beak that resembles a plague doctor's 🫢
Blud just release the full game at this point😭😭🙏🙏
as someone who's admittely a very casual LN fan, i don't understand what the controversy is. it looks just like the first two games. so does reanimal. in my eyes people are just getting two LN games in a short period of time.
This trailer gave nothing for me to hate it. As far as I'm concerned, we're getting two Little Nightmare games and that's good.
