My kids who are half Filipino and half German growing mostly as Filipino here in SoCal. They pretty much have the same experiences like you guys because of their look as halfies. It’s funny you talked about momoo because my German wife always scared my kids with Momoo😂😂😂

My kids are Fil-Am. My oldest was born in the Philippines in 1991 right before the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. He now lives in the Uk with his family.

Loved this!! Makes me miss the philippines - been years since I was there but everything you mentioned from the ghost stories to the street food and the tricycle rides (we called it 'side-car') described my summer holidays there as a kid!

I converted an ex gf to a #riceislife girl. We visited her parents for breakfast once. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and toast on the table and she quietly complained to me..."omg. I cant eat this without rice.." LOL! Mission accomplished.

My wife is a Canadian whose parents are Fillipino. She is a born and raised Albertan. Our kids are halfers and are super light in tone. Moreso than I am. Im a darker pink then most. My wife is light. They are Newfipinos. The rarest form of beauty. One day everyone will have a genetically diverse background. You both seem very nice. Thanks for sharing.
