The wonderful thing about Halloween is that children learn to enjoy spooky things without terror or fear. It introduces them to the classics, Frankenstein, Dracula, werewolves. A lifetime of delightful entertainment.

I mean, Fire festivals still go on all the time in Scotland all over the place and at various times of the year. There's a big one in Edinburgh on Hallowe'en too for Samhuinn that's going Digital this year called HearthFire2020!

It is. I'm Irish, and I too was surprised to learn the name. If it's any consolation, the English got the name "Britain" from the Celts (Breton, Briton, Brittany, Brittonic, etc.).
