  • No matter where you fly, the Moustache is most fun if you fly close to the ground and if you play with the lines mother nature offers. Therefore it's really important that you understand the basics and especially the differences of the FLARE system to stay safe.

    @Beni: Nice job you have done! I studied your tutorials very intensive. I am Softkite-Kitesurfer many years and in education of paragliding. Do i need PG or PPG License to order the moustache?

    side note: reflex wings in ppg are known for notorious collapses. But all of them I've seen so far were pilot error, mainly pulling brake lines when fully accelerated. Not caused by turbulence or some natural phenomenon. Or at least I have not seen one so far.

      Hi! The good thing is, that if you control the MOUSTACHE only with the Brake toggles and Pull the C-Pulley line together with the brake line, then you increase the angle of attack before you pull out the reflex of the profile. That means. Low angle of attack=> reflex; high angle of attack=> camber. Hope this helps...

      @@1989BenB Yeap, thats true. It looks like an amazing wing. Im a big fan of reflex profile and dudek power attack system. This looks like it works the same, but not with speedbar, only toggels. I'm definitely ordering this wing in near future. Great job.

    Hi, thank you for the videos. I see that you are piloting not only pulling the brakes along the elavators but also from left to right. What is the purpose of this? How to know if we need to pull to the external or internal rather than just vertically?

      Hi! Unfortunately there is this little thing called "physics" which makes this combination not that enjoyable. I tried. So NO...

    Thanks for this complete video series explaining the concept deeply. Can't wait to test both concept (a 13m² on skis - aerology 0 / 18m² into wind...)
    If I get it right, it would be such a nice "hafl-way" between the 2 activities mixed during this day for example : th-cam.com/video/BvThAsZthes/w-d-xo.html

      Thanks for appreciating the effort we put in the explaining everything about our new movement :) - Yes you got it right! We recommend to start with a bigger size to see how to FLARE and then proceed to smaller sizes, depending on your skill level :) - Demowings are at our first ProPartners (more will follow soon worldwide) Best regards

    What is 'lee sites' ? Subtitles at 03:51

    • @MadMickeyMouse
      @MadMickeyMouse 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is autogenerated subtitles. He said "Leeside" wich is on the back of the mountain/hill seen from the upwind/blowing side.
      Leeside is the dangerous side with the turbulences and the lee-rotors.

    Cara você é dono da Flare? Você me doaria uma asa dessas? Não tenho condições de comprar. Obrigado.

    recommended flying in laminar wind and no thermals. So this is a pure costal soaring wing in the bigger sizes and not suited for mountain soaring?

    • @hannesdobbelaere
      @hannesdobbelaere 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      this is how i see it too. may not be a bad thing if you never thermal (or have a second wing to do so)

      Hi! don't get this wrong, you can soar on a mountains site. The issue are the turbulences caused by lee sides or thermals. Flying the MOUSTACHE in 20kn nice and laminar seabreeze on the coast can be a piece of cake. in 20kn in thermal wind with up-and down drafts, is a lot more challenging and need a high skill level in active flying. Therefore we do not recommend flying in strong turbulences or thermals.. Hope this helps a bit..
