Take a risk and trust God. Invite him into your heart and give your whole life to him and see what happens. Another person will never fulfill you like God can. It is about time in the world for your AGW University Mark. After being alone for 30 years I took a risk (with the blessing of my pastor) and pursued a woman in the Philippines. Proposed on the 18th day then flew there to meet her and marry her. Been married over four years now and so much looking forward to our future together. I call that a risk although at the time it was also how God wanted to finally bless me with a woman 10 times better than I even wanted! You are absolutely correct. I had to do something different and through the years God prepared me to be ready for the opportunity to risk.

Obedience to God and hearing Holy Spirit speaking is very important. I may have taken risks too much for the last 3 years by trusted ppl that i consider "good ppl", i ended up betrayed by my siblings, friends and previous employment. Almost close with a man at church that i consider godlyman, cuz he is worship leader, only to find out that he was only a bait to lure me by someone sick in the church. Long story short, i left the church since July this year. And looking new church now. Brother Mark, please pray for me, and Lord Jesus Christ bless your vids and ministry.

I literally just took a risk in dating someone today. I was afraid of accepting it because Were in college and I thought that if it ends bad or goes wrong, it’ll suck during school and I need to just focus on school. But this guy has been my friend for 2 years and I truly like him and have seen the confirmation. I’ve prayed to have this but also feared “ if God answers this, can I handle it” I chose not to be ruled by fear because who says it will end terribly and God has me no matter what occurs. the barrier was indeed my fear . But I’m choosing faith. I’m so happy I said yes today and can’t wait to see what happens. Good evening, I'm sorry but what do contraceptions have to do in a born again believer's life? Sex is a gift from God for a husband and a wife. God says to be apart from each other (sexualy) to reserve for fasting and prayer and then come together again (1 Corinthians 7:4-5). I don't believe I have seen God mention anything about contraceptives in the bible.

I appreciate that you give examples. It sure does help so that we don't mishear. There have been a few times I'm wondering what is meant by a statement, and without an example I'm left wondering what is meant. I'm a business owner. Let me tell you, the risks are every day. In fact there are more risks now than 30 years ago. If I didn't trust God every day I'd throw in the towel and go get a job punching a time clock where there is no risk.

But I'm facing bankruptcy now, and I don't have a clear answer from God as to whether or not to keep my business or get a 'real' job. I've been doing this 33 years. My rule of thumb is don't do anything unless I get a clear answer from God; in other words keep it status quo. Any ideas? Also, my young 22 year old daughter is dating a guy who I like a lot. Sow good seed of faithfulness into your heart by meditating on the word, prayer, listening to gentle music and pouring out your heart. You would get to the root cause of the reasons that's keeping you from stepping out in faith, but even saying step out in faith is just what I had mentioned, reading the word, prayer, listening to gentle music and pouring out your heart, weep, and wail. Let your cries be heard. You'd wanna express your faith and please God, well sit first and let yourself be healed from the heavy brokenness that you have gone through and the burdens you have been dealing with. God did not give us Spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. That we wouldn't rely on ourselves but on God. Every bit of wisdom that anyone could give you might be correct but if you don't have discernment and understanding and instruction in the word and being strengthened by God, how can YOU recieve it? Will you be fear free, no.. but have less anxiety. It is a process. But sow in the Spirit and reep in the spirit, then the outward things will come. Above all guard your heart.. not throw it out there on the line because of fear. There is nothing wrong with wanting to move from a place free from fear. God said do not be afraid to joshua, he did not want joshua to move from a place of fear.. that's why the Israelite army was told that if any man be afraid, they should leave the battlefield before the battle started. When you move from a place of fear and then you fall on your face, it makes it worse. Because you moved from a place of fear. God doesn't fault you in what you think or even the things you that you do fail at. When emotions and feelings and anxieties are leading you, it's not from faith. Let the Holy Spirit guide you. There is NO.. condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. There is NO fear in love, but perfect love that casts out ALL fear. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. God will never leave you or forsake you. The question is this, why are you afraid? Pray on these things and ask God, why am I afraid? I love you all, I say this to encourage and admonish, to mutually edify and to share the wisdom that God has given to me. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness. Nothing will separate you from the love of God.
Hey Mark, this is so timely. I was laying on my bed/ still am coz I was woken up by a very crazy dream of me being broken hearted by a guy I have had a crush on for quite a while. I have tried to "pray him" away out of my mind with no success. He a close friend who I have a lot of musual friends with and go to the same Church with. As I was lying here " heartbrocken" it came in my mind maybe I should let him know I am interested but then I am afraid because I always thought that if a guy is interested in me ( which I know he Is but is silent) would persue me. So the only logic thing I choose to do soon is to talk to my Pastor about it and hear what she have to say about it since she know both of us well. But in the meamwhile I just needed something to numb my mind from going crazy so I went to youtube only to find your amazing vedio....if this is not a cofirmation I don't know else it could be...much love from Germany and thank you for sharing your wisdom wirh us 🤯

However I felt like adding that, though You could talk to your pastor, that heartbreak (dream) may either be a warning sign (if u had no fears of such before)...that its not a relationship to desire OR Its a mountain to pull down (using your faith to overcome). So pray that the Lords will stands as you take steps Secondly, you could have a chat with him (PRAYERFULLY) on his future plans to settle down. In the world (ruled by sin), satisfying a crush would mean pushing oneself all the way EVEN sexually to the person, as the flesh demands. BUT NOT SO IN CHRIST, we put things under self control and dialogue. As u take steps there'd be convictions. I just graduated from college three weeks ago. Now I'm looking for a job, but I also want a relationship. I don't have the financial funds to take a woman out etc. I have applied to at least 15 jobs in the past three weeks and have heard nothing in return. I'm growing anxious and wary about the situation and I long for a relationship. It feels hopeless most of the time.
Keep pressing into the Lord and being proactive to accomplish your goals. Also, you may want to get some assistance from a job training program that can help you if you are not finding any luck
I went to Goodwill's Job Connection and it helped a lot, I second the job training. Also look into Ziprecruiter and other similar job aggregation sites that streamline the application process
Also don't give up, rejection can be extremely discouraging; think about creative ways to present your strengths, skills and accomplishments through your resume
Idk why, but after God pulled me away from a very dangerous and heart destroying chance of a relationship before it even started, I feel like his His spirit revealed something to me. I’ve prayed and asked Him to reveal someone to me or start something new in my life. Now mind you, all of my relationships have been long distance (take from that what you will, that part’s kinda irrelevant) but now I feel He could be showing me someone who goes to MY school that could possibly spark a close distance relationship. Problem is, idk if I’m simply listening to what my heart wants, or what He wants for me. That, and idk anything about her. Just one day, I felt compelled to notice her and since then, she’s just stood out from the crowd. She’s a freshman (I’m pretty sure) and I’m a senior. Idk know her name either. I just found it strange that after God saved me from getting into a bad relationship, very shortly afterwards He could’ve revealed someone He TRULY wants me to be with? Idk if it’s a risk I should take or not. I want to approach this in a wise and biblical, ethical manner, while also making sure I’m guarding my heart and listening to GOD’s convictions and what He’s telling me... regardless, I trust Him, I’m just having trouble discerning what I should do?

My best friend left me and i think i know why. It’s because she thought i was clingy and needy, and i’m not gonna say she was wrong, but this is what i’m going to say: In any relationship, plutonic or romantic, everything should be equal. I scratch your back, you scratch my back. I work, you work. I listen when you’re needy and broken, you listen when i’m needy and broken. A best friend shouldn’t drop out of someone’s life because they showed signs of not being independent. It’s a committed of responsibility. My best friend left me, who is a Christian, because she acted on human nature and a fear of commitment. (I think) But she should have never made promises with me in the beginning if she never actually had interest in this plutonic relationship in the first place. What kind of Christian is she?

What should I do if I'm facing the dilemma of finally moving out of my parents house at 35, but my parents are financially very tight (Mom just qualified for disability and Father is ready to retire)? Neither of them have savings. I feel like I'm not growing anymore at home, my maturity is stagnating and my mental state is fragile. I DO have the means to move out and be independent, but I don't want to disobey God in leaving my Mother and Father behind.

Obedience to God and hearing Holy Spirit speaking is very important. I may have taken risks too much for the last 3 years by trusted ppl that i consider "good ppl", i ended up betrayed by my siblings, friends and previous employment. Almost close with a man at church that i consider godlyman, cuz he is worship leader, only to find out that he was only a bait to lure me by someone sick in the church. Long story short, i left the church since July this year. And looking new church now. Brother Mark, please pray for me, and Lord Jesus Christ bless your vids and ministry.

I literally just took a risk in dating someone today. I was afraid of accepting it because Were in college and I thought that if it ends bad or goes wrong, it’ll suck during school and I need to just focus on school. But this guy has been my friend for 2 years and I truly like him and have seen the confirmation. I’ve prayed to have this but also feared “ if God answers this, can I handle it” I chose not to be ruled by fear because who says it will end terribly and God has me no matter what occurs. the barrier was indeed my fear . But I’m choosing faith. I’m so happy I said yes today and can’t wait to see what happens. We both knew to take it slow and that this is not much different than how we have been for 2 years now with one another. he and I are both on the same page and I love it and thank God for sending such a friend and now we’ll see where this goes in a romantic relationship.

Good evening, I'm sorry but what do contraceptions have to do in a born again believer's life? Sex is a gift from God for a husband and a wife. God says to be apart from each other (sexualy) to reserve for fasting and prayer and then come together again (1 Corinthians 7:4-5). I don't believe I have seen God mention anything about contraceptives in the bible.
A Um I’m very confused by your comment. When did ever mention about sex in a born again believers life? And I am aware that contraceptions isn’t in scripture. I was just asking for his opinion.

There have been a few times I'm wondering what is meant by a statement, and without an example I'm left wondering what is meant. I'm a business owner. Let me tell you, the risks are every day. In fact there are more risks now than 30 years ago. If I didn't trust God every day I'd throw in the towel and go get a job punching a time clock where there is no risk.

But I'm facing bankruptcy now, and I don't have a clear answer from God as to whether or not to keep my business or get a 'real' job. I've been doing this 33 years. My rule of thumb is don't do anything unless I get a clear answer from God; in other words keep it status quo. Any ideas? Also, my young 22 year old daughter is dating a guy who I like a lot. Praise God and I need this video because in my past experiences, I took a risk of entering a networking business to give my mother a livelihood in her old age and to share my treasures to the needy but all of those were failed because I am not good at selling or convincing people. Now, I am currently investing my money into stock market and I had a fear before of losing money. I always say to God that if I am going to take a risk to have a business or have an investment, it is always on good intentions.

Seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Sow good seed of faithfulness into your heart by meditating on the word, prayer, listening to gentle music and pouring out your heart. You would get to the root cause of the reasons that's keeping you from stepping out in faith, but even saying step out in faith is just what I had mentioned, reading the word, prayer, listening to gentle music and pouring out your heart, weep, and wail. Let your cries be heard. You'd wanna express your faith and please God, well sit first and let yourself be healed from the heavy brokenness that you have gone through and the burdens you have been dealing with.
God did not give us Spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
That we wouldn't rely on ourselves but on God.
Every bit of wisdom that anyone could give you might be correct but if you don't have discernment and understanding and instruction in the word and being strengthened by God, how can YOU recieve it? Will you be fear free, no.. but have less anxiety. It is a process. But sow in the Spirit and reep in the spirit, then the outward things will come.
Above all guard your heart.. not throw it out there on the line because of fear. There is nothing wrong with wanting to move from a place free from fear.
God said do not be afraid to joshua, he did not want joshua to move from a place of fear.. that's why the Israelite army was told that if any man be afraid, they should leave the battlefield before the battle started.
When you move from a place of fear and then you fall on your face, it makes it worse. Because you moved from a place of fear.
God doesn't fault you in what you think or even the things you that you do fail at. When emotions and feelings and anxieties are leading you, it's not from faith. Let the Holy Spirit guide you.
There is NO.. condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
There is NO fear in love, but perfect love that casts out ALL fear.
In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.
God will never leave you or forsake you.
The question is this, why are you afraid? Pray on these things and ask God, why am I afraid?
I love you all, I say this to encourage and admonish, to mutually edify and to share the wisdom that God has given to me.
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
Nothing will separate you from the love of God.

Hey Mark, this is so timely. I was laying on my bed/ still am coz I was woken up by a very crazy dream of me being broken hearted by a guy I have had a crush on for quite a while. I have tried to "pray him" away out of my mind with no success. He a close friend who I have a lot of musual friends with and go to the same Church with. As I was lying here " heartbrocken" it came in my mind maybe I should let him know I am interested but then I am afraid because I always thought that if a guy is interested in me ( which I know he Is but is silent) would persue me. So the only logic thing I choose to do soon is to talk to my Pastor about it and hear what she have to say about it since she know both of us well. But in the meamwhile I just needed something to numb my mind from going crazy so I went to youtube only to find your amazing vedio....if this is not a cofirmation I don't know else it could be...much love from Germany and thank you for sharing your wisdom wirh us 🤯

Secondly, you could have a chat with him (PRAYERFULLY) on his future plans to settle down.
In the world (ruled by sin), satisfying a crush would mean pushing oneself all the way EVEN sexually to the person, as the flesh demands. BUT NOT SO IN CHRIST, we put things under self control and dialogue. As u take steps there'd be convictions.

As Mark says, you may just need to take a step of faith to approach him (without any thing sexual but self-controlled) and/or approach your pastor to discuss and for counsel.

I just graduated from college three weeks ago. Now I'm looking for a job, but I also want a relationship. I don't have the financial funds to take a woman out etc. I have applied to at least 15 jobs in the past three weeks and have heard nothing in return. I'm growing anxious and wary about the situation and I long for a relationship. It feels hopeless most of the time.
Keep pressing into the Lord and being proactive to accomplish your goals. Also, you may want to get some assistance from a job training program that can help you if you are not finding any luck
I went to Goodwill's Job Connection and it helped a lot, I second the job training. Also look into Ziprecruiter and other similar job aggregation sites that streamline the application process
Also don't give up, rejection can be extremely discouraging; think about creative ways to present your strengths, skills and accomplishments through your resume
Idk why, but after God pulled me away from a very dangerous and heart destroying chance of a relationship before it even started, I feel like his His spirit revealed something to me. I’ve prayed and asked Him to reveal someone to me or start something new in my life. Now mind you, all of my relationships have been long distance (take from that what you will, that part’s kinda irrelevant) but now I feel He could be showing me someone who goes to MY school that could possibly spark a close distance relationship. Problem is, idk if I’m simply listening to what my heart wants, or what He wants for me. That, and idk anything about her. Just one day, I felt compelled to notice her and since then, she’s just stood out from the crowd. She’s a freshman (I’m pretty sure) and I’m a senior. Idk know her name either. I just found it strange that after God saved me from getting into a bad relationship, very shortly afterwards He could’ve revealed someone He TRULY wants me to be with?
Idk if it’s a risk I should take or not. I want to approach this in a wise and biblical, ethical manner, while also making sure I’m guarding my heart and listening to GOD’s convictions and what He’s telling me... regardless, I trust Him, I’m just having trouble discerning what I should do?

My best friend left me and i think i know why. It’s because she thought i was clingy and needy, and i’m not gonna say she was wrong, but this is what i’m going to say: In any relationship, plutonic or romantic, everything should be equal. I scratch your back, you scratch my back. I work, you work. I listen when you’re needy and broken, you listen when i’m needy and broken. A best friend shouldn’t drop out of someone’s life because they showed signs of not being independent. It’s a committed of responsibility. My best friend left me, who is a Christian, because she acted on human nature and a fear of commitment. (I think) But she should have never made promises with me in the beginning if she never actually had interest in this plutonic relationship in the first place. What kind of Christian is she?

But seriously no woman leaves because anyone is clingy, that just doesn’t sound plausible. Unless you were smothering and controlling, which are reasons some women today might leave. What should I do if I'm facing the dilemma of finally moving out of my parents house at 35, but my parents are financially very tight (Mom just qualified for disability and Father is ready to retire)? Neither of them have savings. I feel like I'm not growing anymore at home, my maturity is stagnating and my mental state is fragile. I DO have the means to move out and be independent, but I don't want to disobey God in leaving my Mother and Father behind.
