I noticed that when I diligently do focus on GOD.. Most things just fall in to place. My problem is that I often try to take over, being impatient. My FATHER has a way of letting me know when to "sit down" and get "into" HIM🙌🙏 And this is the seaaon to refocus on HIM.

I've been feeling this way more and more over the past month. Reminds of when Jesus was walking on water and Peter asked could he approach him. As long as Peter focused on Jesus the storm around him didn't matter, but then looked around and became distracted then begin to sink... This is why I'm focusing on Jesus and not what's going on around me

I lost sight of God for a long time and have lost my husband to adultery. It was a huge wake up call to place God #1. Please Pray for my marriage restoration while I focus on the Lord's plan for me and surrendering it all over to him so I'm not distracted with other things.
I have never felt closer to God as I have in the last 6 months. My husband is seeing a Jezebel / narcissist and he has changed from a loving pastor into an abusive, angry man. I have been praying to the Lord daily and feel such a connection to Him. This Jezebel is a demonic presence in our life and I have rebuked her in prayer and I pray for my husband to become humble. I have seen no change in him but I have noticed a change in myself. I have become more patient and must remain calm so I don't trigger an ugly response from my bully / husband. I'm thinking about him too much but I've never prayed so much in my life. God works all things out for the good. There will be a happy ending. I'm focused only on Jesus now...🙏🙏🙏
Adrienna, I have an exit plan in place. We have seperate bedrooms and he is working all day 7 days a week. She has dumped him and he needs a praying wife. I'm still planning to leave. I don't tell this story often because I always get the same response "leave him." Maybe the Lord has me here for a reason. My husband is falling apart emotionally, I can see it. I play worship music in the morning and talk about Jesus. I'm hoping he comes back to Jesus. You have your plan and I have mine. In the end God is in control.

The title was so on point. I know without a doubt that God is wanting me to focus more on him. After having a few things happen over the past two years like different versions of cycles, recently it came more clear to me that if I continue focusing on friendships that aren’t healthy, that it’ll only make me worse and I need to put God first. Wow. I was just praying to God the past few days about feeling alone in the world. I fell asleep tonight without praying and woke up because it was cold and I felt empty and alone inside. I opened up TH-cam and this video was the first thing that popped up in my suggestions. I believe God is answering me and telling me to focus on Him right now. I’ve never focused on God like I am now and I believe things will get better once I have Him in my heart and put Him first. God is amazing. I love you Lord
Mark, I just came out of a season of just focusing on God as you described it. It changed me completely, now I just got a job and we'll soon meet the lady God wants me to marry. This season was absolutely one of the best things that have happened in my life. Only the day I was born again was better than this season I just came out of.
This just confirmed what i was feeling lately. I Been so overwhelmed with the problems in life I've lost focus on God and even grew angry with God for my current situation and unfortunately fell into old sin. Not only that, but all my efforts to try and solve these problems have failed and left me hopeless and depressed, which has led me to believe that God is showing me that HE is the ONLY WAY and i need to come back to him, in order for my life to get back in order.
For the past 2 weeks I've felt frustrated because I've met someone that I feel God has put in my life to possibly pursue a relationship with, but it seemed like He hasn't said yes and he hasn't said no. Now seeing this video emphasizes that God is most likely telling me to focus on my relationship with Him before I try and pursue a relationship with her.
I have a lot of things going on this semester, but I've been trying to keep this in mind; I've been burnt out before and it wasn't until I turned back to God that things got better, and I never want to go back to that again. Thank you for the encouragement!
What a powerful word! I am refocusing my attention on God. He has been too God for me not too. We have to make him a priority in our lives and not just go to him when we want him to do something in our lives. Daddy, I repent for putting people and things before you. Please forgive me. God wants us to have a intimate relationship with him. His word says, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33. He should be first and foremost in our lives. Afterall without him we are nothing. More of you and less of me. Sometimes throughout the day, I just tell him thank you and that I love him. This is what he requires from us.
I had never sprained this part of my foot before but all of a sudden I did last week and then I realized that God will at times use your pain to draw you to him. Praise God!!!
I wouldn't say it's narcissistic, because if a person is a disciple of Christ, then they are living proof that the Word is alive and dwelling in them. Of course, we must always make sure to reflect on our actions and make sure they align with the Word. Don't be afraid to be confident in who God has called you to be.

They say your going to hell basically no matter what, everything from murder to everyday life, like dating someone, working a job, children watching cartoons, being Catholic, going to church on SUNDAY, finding someone attractive, going to the gym, wearing certain fashions, being an American, I can go on and on. It is extremely scary and I lost even more hope because of things I am going threw personally. Im trying rebuild my life and trying to ask God to forgive me. The things you are saying in this video is exactly how I am feeling due to things people have done to me. I am learning to forgive them because I have seen them face harm recently. These are very powerful people from Judges to political figures were live. But I see how they got disbarred lost their leadership power, facing lawsuits, jailtime and one man died in afire so I know it's true to forgive them because I have sined against God as well and he will punish you on earth to try to lead you back to him. I'm sorry for this long message I just wanted to thank you for your videos because you are telling us we are not doomed for everyday things and helping us rebuild our relationship to the Lord. I know I don't have all the answers and you know more then I do but the one thing I do know is only God is perfect and Jesus died for us. No human will ever be ble to duplicate Jesus. I am trying so hard to truly say I for ogive the people who ruined my life. Its a very long story but some of the people e extremely powerful and wealthy in human standard. As I try get my life back and rebuild everything I lost including my connection to God. I learned that all humans must forgive those who hurt us no matter how bad it was. God may forgive them if they ask. So if God can forgive them no matter the crime who are we to say no as only the Lord is perfect. As I hurt day after day, life destroyed and lost everything from money, relationships, its too much to say, I also over time saw what people call karma happen to them. Some involved were ZJudges and politicians. Well some have been disbarred or lost the election. One even died in a brutal fire. I also seen many things happen to them. I believ its God punishing them for all the wrongs they done to people. I think hes punishing them as he has punished me. But I also think God does these things as a empemt to reach us. Because when bad things happen people will try to pray. So don't get hard on yourself because you a good person. Everything's on point for me for the past 2 months now. Im still emotionally drained, but better than when I first started my walk with God. The transition may be tough at times and lonely, but God is with me all the way.

God took away unhealthy friends from my life too and then an ex boyfriend because he's a distraction (even though he's Christian), so for a while it was just me and God and honestly i dont feel lonely at all. It was really tough and painful, but God is good and faithful. Now, im slowly trying to meet and gain more Christian friends that have the same passion and love for God-- because it's not right for us to be alone forever.

I want to focus on God. However, as much as I want to fully commit my parents and their need or thrive for a successful financial support gets in the way sometimes... They're Christians. Just like you and me. I know I must refocus on the Lord to ease me from this spiritual/emotional exhaustion. But living in a third world country, where everyone struggles to make ends meet, my parents are desperate to get out of poverty. And I can't blame them tho, they're so fed up with that. That's why I remained single for years. Am now 29years old. Yet I feel I am married to my parents, because they are too scared to let me go. They feel that if I started living on my own, they would be left behind and rot in poverty. Wish is clearly not what God intended! But they were too scared of ever suffering the same recession. All I can do is to pray for them to have their hearts and the eyes of their heart (their mind) be open and get out from that poor mindset. But I guess the work and the effort should come to them first. Mark, my brother in Christ. Please help me pray for them.
I am so Lonely right now and have been for a long time. The emptiness is vast. Am I depressed or is it God that I need...? But I guess the whole point of this video is not to focus on what ails me, but direct the focus to God.

6 months is a great timeline. Eventually God will lead you to proactively pursue other things he wants for you, but a 6 month focused time on the Lord is very good. But its also okay to change that timeline down the line if you feel led to later on :)
I understand this because I need to focus on the Lord now, but when I was single way back when I faced loneliness, and not able to get into a steady relationship, but no one would encourage me, nor would the men try to teach me how to treat a woman, so I would have an idea once the woman came along. Then there were the ones who wanted to know when I was getting married? Because of this I wound up having premarital sex to get it out of my system, acting out in bed. However, as I said these days I need to focus on the Lord as I'm strung out on life.

Thank you. I really needed to see this. God has been asking me to focus on Him all year. I was wondering if I was doing the right thing, but now I understand why I have been so focused on God. I read a book of the bible a day, I pray and fast, I watch youtube videos to learn more. In my dreams I recite bible passages and usually wake up in mid prayer. My walk with God has become such a blessing, if God is calling you to focus upon Him, do it. I am seeing my prayers working in peoples lives but most of all. I was diagnosed with bipolar over 20 years ago. For the first time in my life I have a sound mind, all thanks to Him. Hallelujah. Praise God. I am nothing without Him. I have planned a 3 day trip to a quiet place to enjoy God's Creations and Study His Word and worship Him, and be solitude with Him. I have the Bible on CD for the drive, and His Word for the destination. Better than any spa or retreat or anything under the sun! Putting God first feels so refreshing! He is the Living Water!
I've been struggling a lot lately. I feel beyond emotionally drained and exhausted. I've been feeling like I've been getting signs from above, I don't even know where to begin. But I never get recommendations from this channel and the fact that this video was posted today and had 233 comments when I opened it I think is a sign.
I have several illnesses stacked one on top of the other. Family members that have consistently abused my friendship and hospitality towards them, bad neighbours, the lust is endless, and yes I am tired, hanging on a very short rope regarding my existence in this awful Godless world, that has so many Desmond. I pray most days, taking up to 2.5 hours in prayer and worship to God. He has not abandoned me, I know that he has not. I feel alone most days, I should be thriving as I was doing so, when I completed my honours and masters Degree’s in Theology. I am at task now learning Old Testament Biblical Hebrew and Kohine New Testament Greek. I just feel so lonely, abandoned by my siblings and sometimes totally lost. I have friends from when I was a serving soldier back in the 80’s, but it is no longer the same anymore. Satan has certainly destroyed my relationship with my family and he destroyed my marriage, I just don’t know what to do anymore.

But I know why you make me understand it now it is my father is working in me and one more thing I never use to wake to pray in the morning, but now the holy spirit wake me up every morning at 5:00 it amazing how God is wonderful God. thank very much your helping me alot God so good iam so grateful for your ministry thank you Lord Jesus I love you may God empowers you.
In 2019, out of the blue, a lot of my plans got ruined: graduation from college got delayed, no scholarship rewards, sudden financial situations, difficulty to find a job, one of my relatives passed away and I unable to attend his funeral, and to top it all off: a lot of my friends decide to ditch me or not talking to me (such as I lose a lot of friends on Facebook and Instagram). I got angry at that time and forced myself to get what I wanted (wanting to graduate, wanting a job, want to win my friends back), but instead, my anger only made my situation worse: I got in trouble at school for my behaviors for no reason, school almost expelled me (and this is my first time in my entire life I ever got in trouble especially indirectly with the law). When I heard I got into trouble, I felt so devastated that I am ready to commit suicide. That's where I was forced by many to seek psychiatric care or else I will end up hurting myself or others around me. Besides seeing psychiatrist, I also see a 12step support group and they all convinced me to engage in my religion to help me recover from my dark times. It is 2020 right now and I suddenly realized that my sudden 2019 dark times purposely meant to happen and I felt God seems to purposely take away the good things in my life in order for me to focus on God. Right now, I still unable to graduate or find a job or even connect with my friends (especially with the case of coronavirus). But I accept the situation and God decide to lessen my suffering by God suddenly gave me some partial financial support. I finally starting to understand that God is not punishing me but rather want me to sacrifice all my joy to focus on God because God probably have something big in store for my life. Therefore I let go of my anger and despair and frustration and now calmly turn my attention to God for his guidance and I actually feel good about this (despite what I see around me is more pain and suffering).
My life perspectives have changed now that i have completely focused on God. I have no desires for earthly things these days and its one of the best feelings !!! 😊

This is unbelievable! I confess that I was angry with God today, and I said things to Him that came from feeling alone and hurt. I have felt this way for a long time. And then He sent my little girl home from her Dad's because she missed me. Next, the evening prayer that I receive every night was exactly what I needed. Now I am watching this video and I can't believe what I am hearing! Thank you, God! ✝️🌈🛐😇 He heard me crying for His help.

I have been struggling with severe depression and I feel like my friends that I've confided in either don't have the energy to help or they have talked about it so much that they've reached their limit. I feel like the only person who doesn't require boundaries or limits on my problems is God.

I have been praying to the Lord daily and feel such a connection to Him. This Jezebel is a demonic presence in our life and I have rebuked her in prayer and I pray for my husband to become humble. I have seen no change in him but I have noticed a change in myself. I have become more patient and must remain calm so I don't trigger an ugly response from my bully / husband. I'm thinking about him too much but I've never prayed so much in my life. God works all things out for the good. There will be a happy ending. I'm focused only on Jesus now...🙏🙏🙏

Adrienna, I have an exit plan in place. We have seperate bedrooms and he is working all day 7 days a week. She has dumped him and he needs a praying wife. I'm still planning to leave. I don't tell this story often because I always get the same response "leave him." Maybe the Lord has me here for a reason. My husband is falling apart emotionally, I can see it. I play worship music in the morning and talk about Jesus. I'm hoping he comes back to Jesus. You have your plan and I have mine. In the end God is in control.

The title was so on point. I know without a doubt that God is wanting me to focus more on him. After having a few things happen over the past two years like different versions of cycles, recently it came more clear to me that if I continue focusing on friendships that aren’t healthy, that it’ll only make me worse and I need to put God first. I don’t want to make God a first priority, I want to put Him in EVERYTHING!

Wow. I was just praying to God the past few days about feeling alone in the world. I fell asleep tonight without praying and woke up because it was cold and I felt empty and alone inside. I opened up TH-cam and this video was the first thing that popped up in my suggestions. I believe God is answering me and telling me to focus on Him right now. Mark, I just came out of a season of just focusing on God as you described it. It changed me completely, now I just got a job and we'll soon meet the lady God wants me to marry. This just confirmed what i was feeling lately. I Been so overwhelmed with the problems in life I've lost focus on God and even grew angry with God for my current situation and unfortunately fell into old sin. Not only that, but all my efforts to try and solve these problems have failed and left me hopeless and depressed, which has led me to believe that God is showing me that HE is the ONLY WAY and i need to come back to him, in order for my life to get back in order.

For the past 2 weeks I've felt frustrated because I've met someone that I feel God has put in my life to possibly pursue a relationship with, but it seemed like He hasn't said yes and he hasn't said no. What a powerful word! I am refocusing my attention on God. He has been too God for me not too. We have to make him a priority in our lives and not just go to him when we want him to do something in our lives. Daddy, I repent for putting people and things before you. Please forgive me. God wants us to have a intimate relationship with him. His word says, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33. He should be first and foremost in our lives. Afterall without him we are nothing. More of you and less of me. Sometimes throughout the day, I just tell him thank you and that I love him. They say your going to hell basically no matter what, everything from murder to everyday life, like dating someone, working a job, children watching cartoons, being Catholic, going to church on SUNDAY, finding someone attractive, going to the gym, wearing certain fashions, being an American, I can go on and on. It is extremely scary and I lost even more hope because of things I am going threw personally. Im trying rebuild my life and trying to ask God to forgive me. The things you are saying in this video is exactly how I am feeling due to things people have done to me. I am learning to forgive them because I have seen them face harm recently. These are very powerful people from Judges to political figures were live. But I see how they got disbarred lost their leadership power, facing lawsuits, jailtime and one man died in afire so I know it's true to forgive them because I have sined against God as well and he will punish you on earth to try to lead you back to him. I know I don't have all the answers and you know more then I do but the one thing I do know is only God is perfect and Jesus died for us. No human will ever be ble to duplicate Jesus. I am trying so hard to truly say I for ogive the people who ruined my life. Its a very long story but some of the people e extremely powerful and wealthy in human standard. As I try get my life back and rebuild everything I lost including my connection to God. I learned that all humans must forgive those who hurt us no matter how bad it was. God may forgive them if they ask. So if God can forgive them no matter the crime who are we to say no as only the Lord is perfect. As I hurt day after day, life destroyed and lost everything from money, relationships, its too much to say, I also over time saw what people call karma happen to them. Some involved were ZJudges and politicians. Well some have been disbarred or lost the election. One even died in a brutal fire. I also seen many things happen to them. I believ its God punishing them for all the wrongs they done to people. I think hes punishing them as he has punished me. But I also think God does these things as a empemt to reach us. Because when bad things happen people will try to pray. So don't get hard on yourself because you a good person. Everything's on point for me for the past 2 months now. Im still emotionally drained, but better than when I first started my walk with God. The transition may be tough at times and lonely, but God is with me all the way.

God took away unhealthy friends from my life too and then an ex boyfriend because he's a distraction (even though he's Christian), so for a while it was just me and God and honestly i dont feel lonely at all. It was really tough and painful, but God is good and faithful. Now, im slowly trying to meet and gain more Christian friends that have the same passion and love for God-- because it's not right for us to be alone forever.

I want to focus on God. However, as much as I want to fully commit my parents and their need or thrive for a successful financial support gets in the way sometimes...
They're Christians. Just like you and me. I know I must refocus on the Lord to ease me from this spiritual/emotional exhaustion.
But living in a third world country, where everyone struggles to make ends meet, my parents are desperate to get out of poverty. And I can't blame them tho, they're so fed up with that.
That's why I remained single for years. Am now 29years old. Yet I feel I am married to my parents, because they are too scared to let me go. They feel that if I started living on my own, they would be left behind and rot in poverty. Wish is clearly not what God intended!
But they were too scared of ever suffering the same recession. All I can do is to pray for them to have their hearts and the eyes of their heart (their mind) be open and get out from that poor mindset.
But I guess the work and the effort should come to them first.

6 months is a great timeline. Eventually God will lead you to proactively pursue other things he wants for you, but a 6 month focused time on the Lord is very good. But its also okay to change that timeline down the line if you feel led to later on :)
I understand this because I need to focus on the Lord now, but when I was single way back when I faced loneliness, and not able to get into a steady relationship, but no one would encourage me, nor would the men try to teach me how to treat a woman, so I would have an idea once the woman came along. Then there were the ones who wanted to know when I was getting married?
Because of this I wound up having premarital sex to get it out of my system, acting out in bed.
However, as I said these days I need to focus on the Lord as I'm strung out on life.

Thank you. I really needed to see this. God has been asking me to focus on Him all year. I was wondering if I was doing the right thing, but now I understand why I have been so focused on God. I read a book of the bible a day, I pray and fast, I watch youtube videos to learn more. In my dreams I recite bible passages and usually wake up in mid prayer. My walk with God has become such a blessing, if God is calling you to focus upon Him, do it. I am seeing my prayers working in peoples lives but most of all. I was diagnosed with bipolar over 20 years ago. For the first time in my life I have a sound mind, all thanks to Him. Hallelujah. Praise God. I am nothing without Him. I have several illnesses stacked one on top of the other. Family members that have consistently abused my friendship and hospitality towards them, bad neighbours, the lust is endless, and yes I am tired, hanging on a very short rope regarding my existence in this awful Godless world, that has so many Desmond. I pray most days, taking up to 2.5 hours in prayer and worship to God. He has not abandoned me, I know that he has not. I feel alone most days, I should be thriving as I was doing so, when I completed my honours and masters Degree’s in Theology. I am at task now learning Old Testament Biblical Hebrew and Kohine New Testament Greek. I just feel so lonely, abandoned by my siblings and sometimes totally lost. I have friends from when I was a serving soldier back in the 80’s, but it is no longer the same anymore. Satan has certainly destroyed my relationship with my family and he destroyed my marriage, I just don’t know what to do anymore.

In 2019, out of the blue, a lot of my plans got ruined: graduation from college got delayed, no scholarship rewards, sudden financial situations, difficulty to find a job, one of my relatives passed away and I unable to attend his funeral, and to top it all off: a lot of my friends decide to ditch me or not talking to me (such as I lose a lot of friends on Facebook and Instagram).
I got angry at that time and forced myself to get what I wanted (wanting to graduate, wanting a job, want to win my friends back), but instead, my anger only made my situation worse: I got in trouble at school for my behaviors for no reason, school almost expelled me (and this is my first time in my entire life I ever got in trouble especially indirectly with the law). When I heard I got into trouble, I felt so devastated that I am ready to commit suicide. That's where I was forced by many to seek psychiatric care or else I will end up hurting myself or others around me. Besides seeing psychiatrist, I also see a 12step support group and they all convinced me to engage in my religion to help me recover from my dark times.
It is 2020 right now and I suddenly realized that my sudden 2019 dark times purposely meant to happen and I felt God seems to purposely take away the good things in my life in order for me to focus on God.
Right now, I still unable to graduate or find a job or even connect with my friends (especially with the case of coronavirus). But I accept the situation and God decide to lessen my suffering by God suddenly gave me some partial financial support. I finally starting to understand that God is not punishing me but rather want me to sacrifice all my joy to focus on God because God probably have something big in store for my life. Therefore I let go of my anger and despair and frustration and now calmly turn my attention to God for his guidance and I actually feel good about this (despite what I see around me is more pain and suffering).

This is unbelievable! I confess that I was angry with God today, and I said things to Him that came from feeling alone and hurt.
I have felt this way for a long time.
And then He sent my little girl home from her Dad's because she missed me. Next, the evening prayer that I receive every night was exactly what I needed.

I have been struggling with severe depression and I feel like my friends that I've confided in either don't have the energy to help or they have talked about it so much that they've reached their limit. I feel like the only person who doesn't require boundaries or limits on my problems is God.

I am thankful to God for your life because yes we need time alone with God and I feel so frustrated because pastors and Christians think that I need to socialize more when I only want to be in my house in prayer. Knowing that God wants us spend time with others Christians but no above God.
