Great cover just recently bought one off these guitar up graded pickups to the emg zakk wylde ones so looking forward to trying it when i get it back got some emg active ones in my jackson

What were the original pickups that came on the guitar? Did they sound bad or does the guitar still sound good?
Did you upgrade anything else on it?

I think original pickups are good and it's not so important to change it. They have good tone characteristics and mid-output. I have changed the original pickups to emg only because I love the sound of 57/66 set.
This guitar I use only with 57/66🙂

After 57/66 were installed the guitar is absolutely amazing for me and no other changes I haven’t made
so let me understand you only put the pickups did you change the electronics? are the mechanics original? What effects are you using for the solo? I'm asking you these questions because I have the same guitar but I haven't made any changes, what do you recommend I do?😊😊😊
@@carminemarletta1952 if you want to put emg 57/66 set to ec-256 you'll change all electronics (you can't use stock electronics with emg 57/66). And yep, I set pickups with suitable electronics, and that's all, everything else is original.
These guitars are pretty good without any changes, so if everything is good in your case, I'm not sure that you need to change something.
As for me, I've put emg 57/66 because it gave me a sound close to Gibson Les Paul and is good for heavy styles, that's what I want from this guitar.
And let's talk about sound in this video. I've used vst plugins for guitar: screamer 808 (I can't remember what exactly it was), Ignite Amps emissary, Ignite Amps nadir, and some reverb and delay (also I can't remember plugin names that I've used). You can use any screamer, reverb, and delay because it's not important. The base of sound is Ignite Amps plugins.
Good luck with experiments in sound and you made a great choice when bought this guitar.🙂

EC-256 doesnt have brown fretboard? This one is dark
