This has become my favorite channel on TH-cam. Your love for the Lord and your family is something that is missing from a lot of people. Thank you for your dedication to everything you do!! This coming from a fellow Christian from Maryland.
Yes it is amazing how crows can tell the difference between a shotgun and a broomstick at 70 yards! Another great video. Thanks so much for what you do. God Bless!
My dad probably wore out more rolling cultivators than most people have ever scene plowing tobacco. He farmed for 62 years. He went from two row Pittsburg rolling cultivators when they became popular back in the 60's to 8 row KMC and Lilliston's. He died back in June of 2023 at the age of 82 and carried that vast amount of knowledge with him. I gleaned so much over the 60 years I followed in his tracks but I still yearn for more.
I only have two cubs..they never complain and pretty much do all i ask of them..lol..someday when i hit the lottery ill find a super a totally restored like yours..until then ill work with God gives me.God bless and i enjoy watching...
Watching again and catching up. I noticed on the 140 that I bought that I had to break the chain to put it on. There wasn't enough gap to slip it over the gear. No problem on the Super A, lots of room. Been home a few weeks and catching up on Dr appointments. Health issues with my parents and wife's parents now so no time for YT lately. Wanted to post video on rolling cultivator incident, but no time to edit video right now. God Bless
Great job Joey and Sammy! I will have to get my plowing fix on your channel this year because we are selling our house and building a house on 5 acres we bought and I don't have the time to do any plowing and planting this year! Thank you for your great videos! God Bless!
I finally got my rolling cultivators perfected and they are working awesome. I had previously made up my rows with the opposing disk blades on my 140 about a week ago. I went back today and made a side dress application of 10-10-10 right of center while freshening up the row with the spider tines. My collards and cabbage are looking great. Sweet corn is up and I planted a row of pole beans and beets today. I have a BCS 853 walk behind with several attachments but most of the work has been accomplished with the tractor thus far. Going to get my 1950 Cub out sometime this coming week just to get it running and cleaned up. Not been used in about 6-7 years. Been stored in the back of our farm shop.
That turned out great. Very interesting to watch the rolling cultivators work, nice closeup camera work. Hope you get the rain you need, with out it being a gulley washer. They are calling for some rain here and snow in the mountains. Then maybe 80 by next weekend. Thinking about planting spuds here before too long. Maybe corrn by the middle of the month. All depends on what the weather man has to say. Not showing any frost for the next ten days. Have an enjoyable weekend. Looking forward to your next video.
I thank you for your videos I really enjoy watching them. You have a beautiful place with some really nice garden patches. God bless you and your family. I like to raise my rows up here in central Arkansas.
Lilliston Rolling cultivators were cousin Scott's favorite. He taught me quite a bit about how versatile they can be by simply changing the angle a bit or the depth, a bit. From what I know about using the tool It looks to me like you did a fine job for the first time out. You don't want to get too aggressive on those first passes. I guess you can tell I'm a little bit behind on watching your videos. But just like you'll get things fixed, I'll get caught up. Please tell the young man. I really enjoy his camera work. He does a fine job with that. 🙂🙏🙂
I finally got the rolling cultivators set up last week. I had to mount them parallel to the ground. If I tried mounting them at an angle I couldn't back out of the shop without dragging them on the cement floor. Be sure to check your float on the carb for a hole. Could be filling up with gas and not cutting the fuel flow off. If the float is good probably trash in the main jet seat or a bad seat. All of mine are leaking around the cut off valve, I need to replace the o-rings on the stem of the valves. God Bless!
The drive gear on my 140 is just a tad too big. I always have to tap the chain over the gear. Good to know its not just a problem for me. My wedge bolts want to thank you again for the "hammer the tool bar" trick.
Looks good Joey! A little rain and it'll take off! The fertilizer's probably like everything else we've been gettn' for the last 4 yrs.....they're gonna give you more of the cheapest ingredient to make you think you're gettn' something!
Love the channel! Sure wish I woulda found you before buying my cub. I woulda went for a 140! I'm going to try to put some rolling cultivators on my cub and see what it can do.
The super A runs better than my 140. I'm going to have and order a carb kit from Burch Store to take some time to remove it from the tractor, clean and refurbish it.
With the chain running off the sprocket at the final drive… how do you stop the fertilizer hopper from dropping fertilizer while you turn around and get lined up on the next row??
Good question Dave. There’s a rod that hooks to your front cultivator rock shaft that when you raise up your cultivator it knocks it out of gear till you let it back down.

Amen!
Thank You Adam and God Bless You.
That Super A is purring right along. When that fertilizer gets wet this weekend, that Hastings will jump.
I hope so. I still got to get it around the silver Queen.

Notice I said Hot Stick in the video. I was planning on having some stick hanging examples.
Nothing better than a Super A in the garden. Music to my ears. Enjoyed the video.
Yes sir 👍
Looks good. Super A is doing a great job. All the best from Greensboro NC.
Thanks Gurney it handled just as good as the 140.

Yes indeed he put some ground under those 8 row units. Had a buddy like that.
I only have two cubs..they never complain and pretty much do all i ask of them..lol..someday when i hit the lottery ill find a super a totally restored like yours..until then ill work with God gives me.God bless and i enjoy watching...
Thanks Clyde . Cubs are fine cultivating tractors.
Those work real nice.
Thanks William

You got the right order.Take care of you and the parents. Video later.

Hey Greg That’s ok. Congratulations on building it will be exciting. Maybe on that 5 acres you can find you a good Garden spot.
Pretty work!
Sammy you did a great job on your filming the video! Well done ! Enjoyed watching!
He’s getting like Will. Proud of him.

Yes sir Harvey give that cub some attention.

I think potatoes would probably be safe. Yes it is getting dry for sure.
Appreciate the time you take making the videos. Great to watch. All the best 🇬🇧.
Thanks Jpeel. I would always like to do better. Hopefully one day when I don’t have to split my time between work I can.
I thank you for your videos I really enjoy watching them. You have a beautiful place with some really nice garden patches. God bless you and your family. I like to raise my rows up here in central Arkansas.
Thank You Scott I’m blessed to have good friends who let me raise on there land. God Bless You and thanks for watching.

Thank You SBF. Glad to hear from you .
Awesome job buddy. Thanks for sharing
I hang up a couple of dead decoys in the silver corn field. The survey tape and dead crows worked great last year. Got the decoys from Amazon.
I’ve used decoys before and your right they worked good.

I probably will rebuild it when Cultivating slows down or stops.

My wedge bolts want to thank you again for the "hammer the tool bar" trick.
I definitely didn’t have that problem till the Super A. It’s not that bad.
Super A doing a fine job. I did my Silver Queen Tuesday for the first time.
I wanted to do mine but I’m going to leave the fence just a little longer

It used to be a lot darker. But you’re probably right.
Love the channel! Sure wish I woulda found you before buying my cub. I woulda went for a 140! I'm going to try to put some rolling cultivators on my cub and see what it can do.
Hey Kaleb Thank You. There are some on here that has them on there cubs . It should work for you. Don’t regret the cub it’s a fine capable tractor.
Took me a second to figure out what the hot stick was. 😂 I’ve been having about the same luck with my long range hole puncher lol
lol 😂 I’ll use that next time.
The super A runs better than my 140. I'm going to have and order a carb kit from Burch Store to take some time to remove it from the tractor, clean and refurbish it.
I need to do the same. I have to cut the fuel off so it wants to leak.

First time viewer and yes I subscribed
Hey Dale Thank You and Welcome.
Crows and rabbits squirrels watches corn patches pulling up eating seed off in it.
Yes sir they do.
❤️
Are the rolling cultivators good with weed
Yes they are. If there angled right.
I have a super A 130 and 140. SuperA just does a much better job
Seems I can go a little slower on it than the other two.
Hey Mark
I was kinda liking that 1st gear ratio on the Super A . Works well with cultivating.
