With Newgarden's win we now have 8 different winners in 10 races with 6 different teams winning at least 1 race. IndyCar is as competitive as it has ever been.
I have to say, as a lifelong F1 fan, Indycar is much, much more competitive and much better to watch. There's a lot more overtaking and because the cars are pretty much identical it all about the driver and his pit crew. Pity I can only watch it online from the UK!

1:53 Let me clear up what really happened! Scott Dixon tried to put himself on the inside of the turn going 3-wide, then had to bail on it, check up while going wide into Alexander Rossi. Rossi had to stop unexpectedly, causing a chain-reaction back to Hunter-Reay and Hinchcliffe, with Rosenquist unable to avoid the chaos. Grosjean may have tapped the back of Rosenquist, but he had already collided with Hinch.
Everyones talking about Ericsson or Newgarden, but can we talk about Palou scoring 6 podiums (2 of them being race wins) in these 10 races so far? Currently leading the championship, been a huge fan of him since his super formula season. The title battle between him and O'Ward is one of the best i'm witnessing.
What a great race Edge of the seat stuff Newgarden beats Dixon at Dixon's track & man Marcus Ericsson was smelling blood but Newgarden kept his cool & drove perfect corners awesome (even though I am mainly a Power & Herta Fan) I dig Newgarden too -- Great Race!! Congrats Josef!!
Just a suggestion, could you finish the video each time with the updated drivers championship. Even if it's just a couple of seconds as we can pause if interested. Thanks
Europe doesn’t have a TV contract/place for Indycar since F1 and Soccer took over. The only way you can get full races is online streaming and you can find certain discords that have the link for the NBC’s coverage of the whole race every race week with commercials. Unless that cannot be viewed in your area, I got nothing
@@GoatedAtNFS In France we have the Indycar since 2018 with a payable channel nammed Canal+ who diffuse a lot of motorsport (F1,motoGP,Indycar,WRC,etc)

Just realized what I'd like to see in IndyCar Visually is a return to Hot Rod Funny Car & Drag Racing style Liveries Flames & Eagles like they had in CART let F1 have the "Classy" Liveries & IndyCar have more aggressive Flashy Livery let it be clear at a glance that this is American Open Wheel Racing Series
I miss the Schmitt Peterson scheme. The gold and black one was cool. I like the IndyCar liverys for the most part. They are a lot more fun to look at than the F1 cars.
I assume it's a joke, but in case it isn't "Kevin" is Keven Lee, one of the announcers. It is one announcer saying the other guy's name, which is a way for them to let the other one know they should speak next so that there is no "over talk". Broadcasting 101.
4:50 Slow-mo this, and tell me how Dixon did not get penalized for this? They are side by side, and Dixon just cuts across the front of Will Power. It's ridiculous how much favoritism they show Dixon, after he had already initiated a crash that took 3 cars out of the race on lap 1.
I dunno, he hit the curb and probably lost a bit of angle, he wasnt really squeezed. It's better if they're allowed to race hard instead of trying to avoid being penalized. If anything it's the one that drives straight into him afterwards that should be penalized.

If you are saying "I dunno," then you either don't know racing, or you are just blindly defending Dixon. This action is indefensible, and has to be penalized 100% of the time, otherwise it's a sport with 0 integrity!
@@nickb2049 Wrong! You have to leave room for a driver that is alongside you. It is ILLEGAL to cut the corner and FORCE Power to hit the curb, and if there is contact as a result of forcing him into the curb, that is an illegal move.
Why do these conmentators get randomly excited if someone is within 3 seconds of another driver?! Man nothing will happen with these distance Also the word 'straightaway' for a straight is just so bad to hear as a f1 fan

For the most part it is very even. I couldn't tell you. Although I think the Hondas have more of a tendency to blow up.
