Tim has been a great unofficial Ford ambassador. And if Tim gets one of these GTDs, it’s a guarantee it’ll find its way to The Ring and various EU nations, UK, rallies, etc.
Tim has an allocation already lol, I think its more about bringing it out to the UK and if they are making UK variants. Theres no way a guy that owns a GT500, Dark Horse, Focus RS Heritage and a Ford GT (All the flagship Ford cars) does not get an allocation lol.

Cup 2 R’s are the best performance road tires in the world, what are you on. Outside of semi slicks, they provide more cornering grip at the same width, and the heat cycling means they’ll last a lot longer than most tires do. The non R-compound tires were problematic, but this shouldn’t be.

Ford developed so many innovative things for automobiles in their racing department and then stopped using them for many decades. I'm glad to see them getting back to their roots.
That's true but that is just as much a Multimatic product as it is a Ford developed product similar to the GT. The GT is actually produced by Multimatic at their facility on their assembly line. This car actually has a lot to do with the GT anyway. When Ford wanted to go back to Le Mans for the anniversary of the GT40 they actually started the project with a mustang trying to see if they could build one fast enough to win but they realized the mustang has too much frontal area for the long straight so they decided to develop an all new GT. So this GTD is essentially the work they did back then to build a mustang to win Le Mans and they decided to turn it into a different class of product/race car division. All of this was with Multimatic doing most of the development and the main proof is in their patented suspension on the car just like the GT as well as the use of carbon fiber because Multimatic has been Ford's supplier for carbon fiber parts for most of their projects. Multimatic is famous for developing that suspension that can deliver an incredibly low ride height yet still offer great damping etc and that's why the Red Bull F1 team also uses a version of it.

Most people make regular cars like this with aftermarket stuff, but they did it straight outta the factory!! They knew they messed up with that Mach E thing so they had to come back with the hotness. Between that and the Darkhorse my goodness, they're instant hits!! Those are cars! I'm wide awake for those!! Thanks for being on top of what's going on! I'm here for all of it, no matter the time! When I was 18 and saw the release of 2000 Cobra R I thought that was the coolest Mustang ever and it would be hard to beat. I was wrong several times since as more and more Mustangs came out that blew the Cobra R away. Once again I’m getting that feeling again and with the government and billionaires telling us we have to go electric, this might be the last real crazy Mustang designed for all out racing

Building up quite a signature ford collection ! The only thing missing would be a 05-06 ford gt and perhaps replica ford gt40 (in the states they make them bespoke to your specifications I thik). Not directly from ford as a original ford gt40 are a little scarce! Being able to get a allocation of your new ford gt and yoir connections with ford, I don't think it will be a issue for a allocation! The first thing you notice is the quality of its design. This is not standard Mustang production large milimeter gap standards, no.. this is spot on with low millimeter European supercar standards. which means the chassis and the body flex is stupid rigid. Many people see body panel gaps with various cars and wonder why that is. is it just shotty production.. sometimes yes, but more often no. Every production car has a level of quality measure to the degree at which body flex and rigidity dictates the amount of panel gap. If a car is loose with less rigidity, then the body panels would rub together causing paint chippings, panel snapping loud noises etc etc. as such cars are built to levels of tolerances. A high rigidity car well, you get the point. And seeing this GTD, shows that its the real deal.

i don't know who is the designer at Ford but he makes a wonderful job. This GTD looks fabulous....and i really love Ford design at almost all models.

The thing is, no matter how fast or how much HP it has, it's still a Mustang.

The first thing you notice is the quality of its design. This is not standard Mustang production large milimeter gap standards, no.. this is spot on with low millimeter European supercar standards. which means the chassis and the body flex is stupid rigid. Many people see body panel gaps with various cars and wonder why that is. is it just shotty production.. sometimes yes, but more often no. Every production car has a level of quality measure to the degree at which body flex and rigidity dictates the amount of panel gap. If a car is loose with less rigidity, then the body panels would rub together causing paint chippings, panel snapping loud noises etc etc. as such cars are built to levels of tolerances. A high rigidity car well, you get the point. And seeing this GTD, shows that its the real deal.
