Gumnaan - The 1965 classic film Gumnaam was shot at the ruins of St Augustine Church in Old Goa, making it one of the oldest films to be shot here.
Singham - The blockbuster film Singham features the Old Goa square where a section of the iconic final chase scene was shot.
Diwale - The movie includes scenes of characters driving through the streets of Old Goa, including a scene featuring St Augustine Tower as the backdrop.
Simmba - Similar driving scenes can be seen in the movie Simmba, featuring the iconic churches found at this place
Singh is Bling - Another chase scene that features the UNESCO recognised monuments of Old Goa is in the film Singh is Bling.
Golmaal 3 - The important reunion scene in the Golmaal 3 of the leading characters takes place at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel perched above a hill in Old Goa.
All The Best - The film contains a scene of the characters walking up the hill to pray at the same chapel in Old Goa.
Guzaarish - In Guzaarish, this chapel is turned into a majestic mansion through innovative set designs. The Basilica of Bom Jesus can be also spotted in this film.
-Ekk Deewana Tha - The song Hosanna of the film Ekk Deewana Tha was shot at various locations across Goa, including Old Goa. Landmarks like St Cajetan’s Church, the Arch of Viceroys and the Church of Our Lady of Rosary can be spotted here.
Thus, Old Goa continues to be a prime location for filming, shining on the silver screen to this day.
