This is great, but I think it needs a bit more polish to truly work. You have both themes playing at once, and crucially there's no longer the gap in the music on 'if you're going to fail' and 'arrivederci' which make the scene so badass

Have you ever tried using noise reduction in audacity? You can turn down a part of the audio file of your video so that it doesn't just play The Golden Wind in the background. Just a suggestion. Timing is off too... Just giving a bit of hindsight.
