I bought this 3 weeks ago. Frankly speaking I was blown away by the feel of this racket. It took me some time to adjust to this racket hitting and timing because I was using auraspeed before. But man it totally felt awesome with exbolt 65 strings at 28 tension and I am glad I made this change.. mine is 4u version.. I am a regular follower of your videos and was waiting for this review but bought it before u published 😂
ax100 takes less time to get used to, but they are very similar in every spec. Ryuga 2 is mid. If you play singles, 100zz 3u is the easiest to play with, and it has a similar swing weight as 4u ax100. Ryuga 1 is the heaviest but has the best power.
Thank you for reviewing this racket! Bought it on 22nd May, my favorite racket by design and color so far, been using this over a month, superb power racket with fast swing speed
@@ZeroSOFInfinity I never tried Thruster F enhanced before, but from frame dimensions, my guess is Axforce should be faster for its thinner frame, thinner shaft, and full recessed head frame
Tried the axforce 100 with bg ultimax 66 since my parents helped me stringed it (wanted to use N65 string). Felt okay and a bit more demanding than axforce 80. Next is to change the string to my regular one to really feel the racket. Dont like the softer feel of the string now. Nice reviews❤❤❤
love your review as usual ck. what i feel from this racquet is it can generate more power but heavier swing speed and swing weight compare with the ax90 tiger version. a positive point for me indeed. and yes i do agree with you that this racquet indeed physically demanding so we need more brute strength and fitness power to maximize this racquet.
Ohh swing weight is testing is goooddd.. I didn't realise that existed. I use handle thickness to adjust swing weight for years. Not only does it changes the BP, it also changes the 'stiffness' feeling. If I need something stiffer I tend to wrap smaller. If I need girth (to grip) but not 'thickness' (for BP) I fold the 1/4 of the overwrap tape to make it ribbed texture. Welcome any other tips/tricks you find on your journey! ❤ Edit: I've tried also stretching grips on wrapping with mild success. I tend to use thinnest overwrap possible (0.5-0.6mm) and one layer of the foam wrap for grip to racket/cushion.
I had recently tested the 90's Tiger and Dragon. Was honestly disapponting with both - Tiger seems to lack power (even with Exbolt 65 strings) when comes to smashes, while Dragon struggles on the drives part (on Ultimax 66). Would you say the 100 Kirin fixes both the issues?
Nope..a game or two with a new racket feels different..producing the best shots with dynamic movement during games is the key to win matches.. It's only after 3-4 weeks of continuous play one can understand the racket's behaviour during matches.. Long story short Axforce 90 max dragon and it's successor are more or less the same - head heavier, stiffer and less maneuverable. Yonex 100zz is just on a different level..sorry to say this but Axforce 90 & 100 are clones with inferior traits.
I'm not against lining in anyway..they do have some good rackets..say Tectonic 9 which is similar to Yonex's 99 pro..but tectonic 9 is way more better than 99 pro.
Playing with both i have to say ax100 feels faster and somehow “lighter” compared to 88dp. But if come to power and control from rear court, i choose 88dp or yonex astrox line up every time.

Love your comparisons! I have a question. Which is better? Astrox Nextage or 100 game in terms of power, control and speed for an intermediate level player? Your advice will surely be helpful.^_^
Yonex's beginner/intermediate line is significantly overpriced; some even rival the high-end line from lining or victor. I recommend Tectonic 9, aeronaut 9000c, if you play doubles and need a bit of power, jetspeed s10 or 12 are also great.
I'm an intermediate player and I'm struggling to choose between two rackets. I'm an all-rounder player but I like to play it quick but with power simultaneously, I do males doubles and I'm back court, but can do well on front court. Thanks for your video, after purchasing it and playing it I indeed felt the grip was a little larger than the usual g5 guess I need time to get use to it.😅
depends on what string you use and who strings it, if you want a lasting string at that tension, I would suggest going for thicker strings. and to answer why do professional stringer matter is because the feel and durability of the string will change as they have different stringing technique, knots, and etc and all of this will differ the string. Hope you found this useful! Have a wonderful day/afternoon/evening

@@Han9509 So I do own an 88d pro 4u but not the axforce 100. However, I have tried it multiple times from friends. Honestly I would highly not recommend the axforce if you are playing doubles or if you are an intermediate player. It is a super hard racket to control and It is very unforgiving. Since Li Ning have really flexible shafts, when you combine that with the head heavy ax 100, it makes it really hard to control. The 88d is a lovely racket but once again, super stiff and head heavy so make sure you can handle it or it will ruin your technique and mid/front court game.
@@AdzBadminton i use the 88dpro 2nd gen but do not like the 3rd gen. Someone asking to trade my 3rd gen for his axforce so I am finding out if it is comparable to my 2nd gen. I am playing intermediate singles.

I just rewatched this video, damn that RM1399 price….
In Indonesia i bought it around RM740
That’s the retail price.. no one pays for that price 😂
Is it a good racket?
@@zhangshengfan8624
yes, but not for beginners, i need around 8 sessions or 2 months to fully understand this racket, and especially for smashing, it demands arm power and a precise timing
Once you get the hang of it, its a solid racket, no doubt
I live in Canada and have been looking to buy this but I can’t find it anywhere, does anyone know if it’s available in Canada and where I can get it
Hey CK great video as always! Which one do you think is better between the Axforce 100 and the Astrox 99 Pro?
It’s down to your personal preference 👌

I have a quick question for people who know a little about this. Would this racquet be suitable for an intermediate player who is returning to badminton after 4 years? thanks
It’s pretty head heavy so if you like something like that then I don’t see any problems! Welcome back!! 😊😊😊
@@CKYew thanks !

how would you comapare the axforce 100 that your 88d pro?
Any updates
@@Han9509 yeah I have heard the 3rd gen 88d pro is a lot more unforgiving and has a much smaller head/sweet spot. what is wrong with the 88d pro 2nd gen? what don't you like and what are you looking for in a racket? have you tried the arcsabers which are more evenbalance?
@@AdzBadminton nothing wrong with 2nd gen. Jus wanted to trade away my 3rd gen. So 2nd gen vs axforce 100 finding out the comparison
I couldn't handle this racket. partly due to my lack of racket use. bought this racket for its looks anyways
Yes the grip really quite big
Comparison with tectonic 9? Other reviewers said Tectonic 9 4u is not very head heavy/even balance while you experienced that it was head heavy. Also comparison in terms of power and control with axforce 100
How does it compare to 88D pro?
This is head heavier and slightly slower
@@CKYeware you able to elaborate further? Are they similar?
Compare with yonex top nanoflare 100z
Anyone here tested it for doubles before?
Review of nanoflare 1000s?….
