  • I bought the car in late 2008 down in San Diego. It was an ALL ORIGINAL car. The paint, chrome, and interior are all original. I fabricated my own bag brackets so the frame did not have to be cut. The car had Slam Specialties bags, Viair compressors, and 2 chrome air tanks. 3" white walls were slapped on and the original hubcaps remained. The car also had a full show trunk consisting of black vinyl, carpet, and suede. Also had a mild custom sound system with head unit custom build into glove box to retain stock dash.

    Thank you for the compliments. The car rode just fine! I kept the sway bar up front and new shocks at all four corners. It had 3/8" valves with adjustable slow downs for the quiet and slow drop.

    I had a 65 black but it was a 4 door. I only bought it. Because I missed 1964 coupe purchase a few days before. A 1964 dude was asking $1,100 for it. This was in 1989-90. Today same condition $8,000

      That’s awesome. Had a few 64’s over the years. It’s crazy to see the prices now. Even from last year to this year, prices have gone sky high

    There was no rubbing on the bags, or tires and inner fenders. Shoot me a message if your still interested in bagging your 64. I just finished bagging my "new" 66 coupe DeVille. I even added a wireless remote for the air ride on my "new" 66.

    That's a really nice setup you have there. It's so nice and quiet. All the other bagged cars I've seen make way too much noise when they drop. How's she ride? Beautiful car by the way.

    Will, how much did u have in suspension minus the labor?

    Did you have to cut up the floor or any part of the suspension? I want to keep it as stock as possible, i dont need it to lay frame. I see a few "bolt on" kits : Accuair and RideTech, but super expensive. My pickup is just front and back not side to side, dont need all that, i like the simplicity. I may do Accuair elevel kit since my wife wants to drive it. I like how your Caddy goes down smooth, NICE WORK!

      Did not have to cut the floor or frame at all. I ran Slam RE 6's up front so the spring pocket was not touched as well. Built my own rear lower cups so if desired, the coil springs can be easily placed back in. Nothing was cut on the car for the air suspension install. Just a few small holes in the trunk to run airlines. You can piece together your own kit rather cheap, but with quality parts. This car had a 5" upper cup in front and a 3" upper cup in rear (well a 2" upper rear with a custom 1" lower rear). E-Level is expensive but is a true "don't think about anything" and go. My girlfriend had no problem reading gauges. I would recommend the Accuair VU4 valve manifold, it has gauge ports, so run normal gauges for now. Add E-Level later. Slowing down the dump valves is simple, just add adjustable slow downs (about $8 a pop, need 4 of them). I currently have a new 66 that I just finished bagging. Went with 4" front cup and 2 1/2" rear cup. That is the LOWEST you can get without cutting anything. Shoot me an email and I can send you pics of my new 66 and how it sits. WillSewak@Gmail.com

      Will Sewak Really nice car, I used to have a 1965 Fleetwood and I tracked it down and may buy it back, first thing I am planning is bagging. How much did it end up costing you? Lacs for Life!

    Hi there :-) Does anybody know, if a 6`4" person can fit in a Deville Coupe comfortably? Thinking of the headroom ....
    Thanks, Greetings from Germany !

      @WillEZSewak  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      V8freaks I don’t see you having a problem fitting in a Coupe DeVille, as long as the seat motor works, lol. My buddy is 6’4 and rode in my 66’ from Phoenix to Los Angeles for 6 hours. Said he was comfy. I actually have a 64’ Cadillac Coupe For Sale at the moment. Can send pictures and info if interested.

    • @WillEZSewak
      @WillEZSewak  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately I don't remember what brand they were. They were a 3" white wall on a 215-75-15 radial.

      I have a new 66 I just finished building, its on my page. I ran Coker Radials on it. Stock size 235-75-15. I like them better!

    Why why WHY do you have to do this to these cars. 90% of them are bagged. It just looks ridiculous.

      Some of them come stock with air suspension. These cars are designed to be low, long and luxurious.
